Obergefell being overturned wouldn't restore DOMA. Obergefell wasn't the Supreme Court case that gutted DOMA, United States v. Windsor was. Obergefell just made the remainder of DOMA, which said states didn't have to recognize same-sex marriages from other states, irrelevant. The Supreme Court never heard any challenges to this part of DOMA.

Anti-sodomy laws were eliminated by Lawrence v. Texas which was 11 years before Obergefell and nobody except Thomas (who wrote against the decision at the time because he was on the Court) has ever proposed overturning it.

I can't see how Texas can possibly "challenge" Obergefell either.

Oh, interesting. Informative too, thanks. I'm old, I remember reading something about this Tula as an 80s teen. That was the femme fatale in "Some Like It Hot" by The Power Station, a side project of 2 of Duran Duran's Taylors plus Robert Palmer singing. Pretty major hit, MTV played the video 100 times a day in 1985.

Interestingly, I only read that it was a tranny in some UK pop mag.
