The other possibility is fungus gnats which live in drains and soil. To clear that up clean up food crums, bleach drains, and if you have house plants put at least a 1/8 inch of sand on the soil. The gnats will lay eggs in the soil but the sand is so slippery the larva can't make it to the surface.

Eminem is pretty good. I used to love him back when he put out cleanin out my closet and without me. It always just felt to me that he went too commercial. How you go to songs about murdering your ex to doing collabs with Rihanna?
I don't dislike his stuff now. But hearing people put him up as 'Teh greatest Rapper eva!!" Was always pretty annoying. Maybe I'm just biased but listening to MF Doom, Eyedea, Sage Francis, Aesop Rock, and BusDriver really puts in perspective how just OK he is. Hell if you want that darker older Eminem sound you're better off listening to Necro.

So there's this manga/anime I'm a huge fan of, not gonna say which because it's irrelevant, but I collected the translated edition of the manga back when it came out. It's relatively old, so this was a while ago. The translation is good enough, it has some slang from the publisher's country, but it otherwise remains neutral enough that readers from any other country with the language can enjoy it.
Recently the manga got a sequel/continuation. It's not as good as the original but that's besides the point. For... reasons... this manga is very unlikely to get translated. It most likely will never be officially published in English (and only one solitary guy is scanlating it, bless his soul but he's not great). But in my language, miraculously, they decided to do it. Great!
Except I got the first volume and the translation is so full of country-specific slang that the thing is near unreadable. It's so saturated with it, I imagine even their own natives would find it grating. Turns out in the years between the original and the sequel, the license changed hands to another publisher and I guess the new one is just really bad.
So now I'm in this impasse: should I continue buying the volumes, knowing full well I'll hate the translation? Or should I continue to be at the mercy of that one guy scanlating it?
And what's worse, I'm a translator, just not for moon runes. So this makes me ANGRY both personally and professionally.

Sorry for the self reply but I looked into it and apparently it's just this one translator who somehow gets all the jobs, despite being despised by readers, even from that country. So much so, that I've seen people use him as a benchmark for bad translation; like when talking about those fucking "localizers" who insert references to Gamergate or incels or some shit into games or anime, people say "not even [that guy] goes this far".
Reportedly he ruined the Berserk edition that I was considering getting. Also various others like Dragon Ball and Gantz.
So I guess I've found my nemesis.

It depends on why you want these. I am still buying russian Wheel Of Time translations, despite THAT thing with book 3 and the revealed fact of like 15% of text being error-prone or winged based on understanding a word or two (fan-forum to the rescue). Because I like that edition, and prefer reading these specific books without tensing my brain (reading books in english is more work than reading forums...).

- people racking heaving weights over lighter weights on a machine weight rack (eg 25s, then 10s then more 25s....)
- people fiddle faddling on their phones between "sets." Recovery time should be about sixty seconds, no longer than two minutes. Get off your phone. People want to use the machine or station you currently occupy.
- people who take attachments to the cable machine and take them some place so others cannot find them.
- people who ask me how many sets I have left. I don't dilly dally. I don't look at my phone, or if I do I'm done in seconds. My seta are usually 60 seconds to at most 90 seconds apart. Let me do what I want to do and need to do. I am listening to my music, and trying to stay focused. I don't want to talk to you, and I don't want to be interrupted. Leave me alone.
- people who do dumbbell exercises in front of the dumbbell racks. You are in my way and in the way of everyone else.
- people who take the position or bench next to mine by the dumbbells and have no concern whether there is proper clearance between you and what I am doing.
