I'm guessing that this is an effort by Dean to flood the record with evidence of Preston's other well-known "sexual proclivities."
While it's funny, and it would be great if he were writing Preston's thread on KF, I don't know how much of it, if any, the judge is gonna allow in. Expect very many objections as to relevancy. The case is about accusing Poulter and Lamont of being pedos. Not whether Preston does gross videos about "queening stools."
My concern here is that he's not going to address the issue head-on, but I guess we'll have to see where he's going with this. It's still early.

Current status of the assorted cases:
- The lawsuit Preston refiled against Ethan in New Jersey (after he was dismissed from the Texas suit) on 4/18 is still unserved.
- There's no public update as to the outcome of the motion to enforce arbitration on 5/12 by Preston in the lawsuit filed against him by his former attorneys.
- No case updates about Dean or Vikki at this time.

I just checked the copyright battle out of curiosity and that case is suspended as of May 19, 2022, "pending final determination of the reexamination proceeding." The parties (@FROG & Antonio J. Malpica v. @PocketJacks) had twenty days to notify the TTAB "so that this proceeding may be called up for appropriate action" and the notification should include "a copy of any final order which issued in the reexamination proceeding."
It's been over twenty since then, so it's just a matter of waiting for the TTAB's ruling.
Everything seems to be at a standstill at the moment.

Perhaps he wishes to have Ethan served at Anime Matsuri? He may have even intended to do it himself. Hopefully someone told him that would not be proper. Maybe he imagines Ethan getting served on stage and saying something defamatory so he could file a new lawsuit in Texas.

It may be as AnOminous suggested. The lawsuit is a loser and he was pretending he was still winning by keeping it on the back burner. Or maybe he had to save up his allowance before proceeding with further litigation. Mommy can't be too happy with all these legal bills he's not paying. Or it could be he thought his best move was to blindside Ethan at Anime Matsuri and hope he said something in Texas he could sue over ala how ya boi Mark Waid got got.

I also addressed this in the main CG thread. While you're correct that he can't serve Ethan personally at AM, he might have had some half-baked plan to have a licensed private process server do it so as to cause public embarrassment for Ethan.
It would serve absolutely no legitimate legal purpose, but Preston is such a vindictive faggot, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility.
Shrewd move on @FROG's part to just voluntarily acknowledge the thing and move for dismissal now. That means things will now move forward on @FROG's terms and Preston's legal team will have to scramble to file a response and bill Preston accordingly.

So, I know double-posting is a sin, but there's some bizzare news that deserves its own post.
SaggyMelonz is apparently offering refunds to people who contributed to Dean's GFM that was made in relation to this lawsuit. While making a point that @TheCosmicWarrior doesn't qualify for one.

Not sure what to make of this. If she collected the money and passed it on to Dean in good faith, I don't think she has a moral obligation to do this, but I know she's also be getting a lot of shit after Dean went full retard and had Spectree write at least one legal brief submitted before the court instead of using a proper lawyer. I've given her the benefit of the doubt in that she probably didn't fully comprehend how stupid Dean was, and was only trying to help somebody she thought was a friend. "The path to hell..." and all that. Once upon a time, I thought Dean was a pretty cool person too.
Moreover, if she passed the money onto Dean, she'd have to issue these refunds out of her own pocket. Seems kinda pointless and unnecessary. Most people probably have already written off those donations off (I know I have, and I shan't be asking for one).
