"[Josh] is beyond intelligent in most other areas. He's a brilliant cook with passion."

SO WHY ARE YOU EATING HOT POCKETS? If he's such a great cook, why isn't he making delicious, nutritious food for you both from cheap ingredients? If you both are so fucking intelligent, why can't you find out what foods are safer to eat for a diabetic than the absolute shit you eat now, and at least slow his decline?

She's not wrong in that restaurant work is hard on the people who do it. You've got low pay, long hours, high pressure, your working hours put you out of synch with normal humans, and it's really fucking hard on one's body. Plus, it attracts a lot of drunks, addicts, convicted felons, tards who can't math, and other fuck-ups who can't get more "respectable" work, and after-work socializing usually involves heavy drinking.

If you don't want to end up chewed up and spit out, you have to be smart and self-aware enough to draw your own boundaries and know when to quit. But of course, Polissa can't go five minutes without finding somebody or something else to blame for every problem she (or Josh) has.

And if she hadn't got sick, she'd be an "unstoppable force"? Bullshit. Like any obedient mediocrity, she needs everything to go exactly right in order to succeed at all (then takes all the credit), and when it doesn't, she sits on her ass and cries about how unfair everything is. She did everything right, y'all—and, like a child, can't comprehend that life is intrinsically not fair, and it isn't anybody else's duty to make it so.

I'm late but she's asking for a $30 heating lamp for a reptile that... doesn't need a light source. It needs a heating pad with a thermostat.
And she's asking for a $481 terrarium for a reptile that would be happy in a $5 Sterilite storage bin.
The snake also looks dehydrated and small for an 11 year old ball python.

From August 2021, Polissa pretends to be concerned about the people around her and talks about her elderly landlord and her concerns over his health. "The reality is, if something happens to him, his daughter gets my prop- ...uh my house."
View attachment 3507686
She then uploaded a part 2 where she talks about something that happened to her in 10th grade science class. Says she went to a rough school where lots of kids didn't do what they were supposed to but she was "miss little reliable". Her teacher left the classroom and came back to everyone out of their seats misbehaving except Polissa. As punishment, the teacher told the class they had to write lines. Polissa refused, she didn't deserve to be punished. The teacher told her to write lines or go to the office and fail the class. Polissa chose to go to the office, where the vice principal did nothing to reprimand her because she's such a good student. Then, this teacher refused to grade Polissa's science project (which was AMAZING and well done!) and refused to give her the paper needed to take her exam, resulting in Polissa failing.
Somehow she relates that anecdote back to what was going on in Alabama. "The teacher has left the classroom and everybody is acting a fool and I've done everything I'm supposed to."
View attachment 3507724
Part 3. She says she's living out of her bedroom. She's not only sensitive to heat but also to cold. She ends the video by telling people to get their vaccine and that she's tired of being punished because other people aren't doing what they're supposed to.

June 2021 she was spending her last $5 (plus $3 donated by a stranger in the thrift store) on a picnic basket. Also says she'd been on disability for 11 years at that point.

I would put money on that snake being a $15 clearance snake from PetSmart and they never bothered doing any additional research beyond what the clerk told them. They'll always try and get you to buy unnecessary shit like bulbs. If that snake is indeed a female, then yes it is drastically undersized for an average female bp. Healthy ones can be over 5 feet.

Thanks for posting all this, she was hella busy yesterday and so was I.

I totally missed the "I wanna grow my own medicine" tweet. Considering how poorly her food garden is doing, I can see her (or rather, Josh) screwing up on growing weed.

I could've swore I saw a mention somewhere that Josh worked in a Burger King. I guess I'm technically cooking when I flip a burger at home.

I'm not gobsmacked per se at Polissa once again insisting that her taxpayer funded hysterectomy at 39 years old is as or more important than women (and ten year old rape victims) "going camping," but I'm certainly annoyed as usual. Her entitlement knows no bounds. Does Dobby have food yet?

In my experience, nurses and doctors don't give a shit what you wear to the hospital. Medical workers are used to seeing people covered in bodily fluids or having bones exposed; you don't exactly go to the ER looking your most glamorous. You're also gonna be in a gown most of the time anyway. Their main concerns are that you shower the night before and morning of your operation (if it's a planned one), and to get walking as soon as possible so you can take care of yourself. If Polissa wants to risk a blood clot at home by laying on her back all week without even a shower, that's on her. But I guaran-fucking-tee that the nurses will push her to walk around at least once while she's at the hospital. I can see her calling them abusive for so much as suggesting that her poor disabled ass needs to get up for longer than two seconds to piss.

Edit:

Late night hysterectomy wishlist bullshit

No big-city FD would tolerate a fatty like that, but there are a lot of small-town and rural volunteer fire departments that have looser fitness standards because they can't be picky. A chonker like him wouldn't be unusual, in that situation.

Now she's claiming she needs help to avoid "showing up looking poor" to her appointment with the surgeon.
View attachment 3510990
Surely the quality of care will suffer if she doesn't show up for surgery in this purple satin kimono...
View attachment 3511000
If you don't want your quality of care to suffer, don't be a whiny, defensive, fault-finding hellcunt who has decided in advance that the medical staff are going to unfairly judge you. You're poor? That's no sin. Being a prideful bitch, however, is.

I can only imagine the haughty attitude she's going to show up with. And the hilarious thing is that no fancy bathrobe and no amount of carefully-applied Dollar General makeup is going to hide her poverty, not when she's a Medicaid patient on disability.

I don't see how programming socks and a journal is going to help her facilitate her stay.
Those are compression socks, at least, so it's more useful than a fashion statement.

If the doctor thinks she needs leg compression while inpatient, though, they're just going to throw on a pair of TEDs. There's a shelf of them in the supply room.

They're called "invisible" disabilities because tons of people have them and carry on leading productive lives. People with MS, lupus, arthritis, bipolar, autism and a whole range of other diseases hold down normal jobs and raise families. As near as I can tell, Polissa shouldn't even be on disability in the first place. No doubt she's fat, crazy and unwell, but if she'd invested in even the bare minimum of an education she could easily be holding down a white collar job.

If she didn't have illnesses it would have been necessary for her to invent some to explain away her failures.

It's only bad if you're Josh. If you're someone else then your tip is, "get a better job" as they puff their joint off into the night after they keep you late to serve them their romantic shoe leather steak.
McDonald's actually has benefits. Health, dental, vision, life insurance and a damn 401k. They pay over minimum wage and you just push the little button and the fries will tell you when they're done! But he has a ten year gap in his work history so they won't want to hire him, either.

I feel for her roommate in that hospital. They are going to have a miserable time trapped with this woman.
