They are. LA County seems to be declaring an indoor mask mandate within the next few days. Monkeypox fizzled, Roe v. Wade's overturning is losing its shock, Ukraine isn't worth paying attention to anymore, and the last mass shooting got foiled by a dude with a gun, so it's back to the good ol' Chinavirus. Pedojoe just "happening" to test positive today is all part of the plan.

I usually walk to the store to buy my groceries. It's about a mile through sparse suburbs, demographically about half white and half black/hispanic. In the last month I've seen the same crazy mask-and-dodge experience from half a dozen middleaged white women passing someone on the sidewalk, sometimes going as far as walking 50 feet down a side street to avoid being near anyone else.

Everyone who isn't white and female doesn't give a shit though and it's business as usual with no masks or social distancing. I don't think pushing another pandemic is going to work the way they think it will.

It seems that the masks forced on kids in Quebec schools were actually toxic and carcinogenic.
They weren't given a choice not to wear them or bring their own from home and due diligence wasn't done on the shady Chinese company, Shengquan Group, that sold them.
In fact, the shady Chinese company had just gone around and slapped a good 'ol "Approved by the FDA" sticker on all their products, despite it being patently untrue.

The meningitis thing is kind of weird, this is sort of a personal PL obv
but in the end of April my husband had a weird illness where he had a horrible stiff neck, vomiting and a fever [\SPOILER]

We didn’t test at the time. Also an antibody test was negative about a month later but how reliable is that stuff anyway?

Went to a new doctor yesterday who shares an office with a pneumologist. The sign on the door said "Please wear a mask", but I haven't worn one in months. I asked if they had any spares, they weren't sure, looked around, couldn't find any and kinda shrugged and we all dropped the issue.

Also did some flying recently. The airport was full of "Please wear a mask per the rules of the LA County transport system" signs and messages, but very few people were masked.

But it's presumably a necessary thing since independent thinkers who are able to assert themselves gain incredible power thanks to the NPCs/hylics/whatever you want to call them. And from the perspective of cultural evolution, a society that easily gives independent thinkers the ability to move up the ranks is more likely to survive and prosper than one which doesn't. Happens with business too, independent thinkers can be an asset to the company, even if sometimes they fuckup and convince people to put out dumb products no one wants.

We aren't getting the "50-70% of people will be dead in 5 years" like the doomers said but we are getting an elevated death rate in people who shouldn't be dying at all. A healthy adult does not have a 1-in-5000 chance of going to the hospital from the virus (it's 2-3x less, and you just know that statistic includes people who were at the hospital for other shit but tested positive for the virus), so why accept a vaxx with a far greater risk? Because they push this drug on us to make money and establish social control. Just like doctors do with all the other garbage drugs they push that Pharma occasional takes multibillion dollar fines for how they get doctors to advertise them. It's all a bunch of bullshit.
