General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
Maybe its because I never had an audience but why do people hate backseating so much? Cant the streamer just ignore chat? Spoilers I understand but backseating is just a few retards malding in chat because you are not doing what they want you to do. Personally I would probably just keep doing whatever the hell im doing just to piss them off even more.
You see the text going by and the natural inclination to look, see what people are saying. You also want to try to give some engagement if you don't have something to say in the moment and want to bounce off chat, catch special messages popping up, but you see a hundred disabled niggers screaming in all caps to do shit you're coming up to well before you even get to assess the situation, even if you've not been struggling or expressing confusion with the game. They continue in a vacuum, because they want the personal satisfaction of knowing they 'helped'.

You can ignore them, but it doesn't stop them. Antagonizing them makes it worse, but should be done at all opportunities. They hate it when you're not performing to their metric, they demand you have the exact same experience they did, because they need the validation that a popular public figure can agree with their tastes.

She probably just got the best concert of her life, of course she is hype
She really seemed to be struggling to say "I love hololive", that was the one thing she had to take a second run-up at. Probably just nerves but it was funny.
Oh wow, orc does not do it for me at all but a long-distance cyclist is something I'm interested in, doubly so if he's now got a more human avatar.
Myth as back-up dancers looked pretty good onstage.
You won't see it in a photo but they looked a lot worse, whatever 3d effect they were doing in the middle (maybe just a lighting trick, but it looked good) wasn't there on those side screens. So it looked like it was just a video versus Calli/Gura/Suisei/Watame who had an actual sense of presence. Still a fun experience but not remotely the same as having them all "on stage".

don't forget when chat itself starts to throw shit at them or it turns into a "who's the better backseater" competition and suddenly it looks like the average 4chan thread. hence the general rule to curb that shit right from the start.

So for those of you who have played Holocure...
For how long does the game goes

So how long will the Stars debut for? I think 30 minutes is the best unless they have some big music video. I feel that 1-hour debuts are pretty shit because usually at around the 45-minute mark it just starts to feel long and stretched out. I think the only time I didn't get bored during a 1-hour debut was the Kobo. Possibly the best debut I have seen so far.
Im guessing still hour debuts cause they are spread between two days
Speaking of here are the waiting rooms for day 1

Yeah, essentially Ina is bugged, but I'm confused how it's working for you because I was sure that Plushie was core to making it work. The most common explanation for how it worked was that plushie gives a short invulnerability window after you are hit, and the core of the bug is that Ina's ghost Takos healing you counts as a 'hit', so you have ~10 ghost takos trying to heal you for every Yagoo trying to hit you, and the Yagoos just can't squeeze in a hit in between all the plushie immunity provided by the tako hits.

Pre-edit: Seems like the headphones are another item that can make it work. Still, the core mechanic involved is a bug so you are a dirty hacker, just like Pippa said.

Remilia is back from the hospital and I assume her streams will start tomorrow as scheduled. I hope she can get a normal schedual going, I feel so bad for her having such setbacks even when putting in so much effort to get more streams in.
Remi tweets about breaking her stylus in this Pokémon game

I really appreciate Pippa standing up against people using the term save-scumming inappropriately. It's a big pet peeve of mine and it's rare to see someone else pipkin out about it.

Momosuzu Nene tests positive with The Coof.

Are you still in the game? Like you already said; just take move speed on level ups and keep on running. You need to outrun your ghost takos. Or just choose quit in the menu and relinquish your ill-gotten gains.

And I am surprised that apparently all of Calli's stuff was live for her. I was almost positive that the entire Gura bit was like a planned rest-break. And I thought some of her banter with Watame sounded pre-recorded too, but I suppose that was just the classic Calli 'forced English teacher voice'. When I first started watching vtubers her talking like that annoyed me because it sounds fake, but then I realized that that is just literally how she sounds 90% of the time and it's probably got a lot more to do with her being awkward than actually being fake.

Yeah but I turned on numbers and noticed I wasnt getting much heals from Takos. Whats keeping me alive is the 200hp nurse heals at 1k hp. Apparently YAGOO scales 2% every minute, so I'll die as long as I dont level up my stats further... Eventually.

I hope they change YAGOO so he scales exponentially instead of lineally.
