DSP doesn't have practical knowledge of game development or computer science. Adding the sonar system, collision meshes that work with it, including position data in saves/databases, testing code, and recompiling code all constitutes some flavor of 'from the ground up' refactoring.
So let's say the reasonable value of TLOU (original version) is $35 in current year. Are those code enhancements worth the same as TLOU (original), therefore justifying the $70 pricetag? Likely not, seeing as most of the TLOU's value to the consumer is in art and story direction (imo). There also should be a 'cost of doing business' that NaughtyDog partially absorbs to sell to a previously inaccessible market (superblindcucks) and that market should be expected to pay close to fair market price for the same products.
Thus, that being said, NaughtyDog isn't providing enough to the existing market to warrant doubling the price of TLOU and is shifting too much dev cost to the emergent market they hope to reach. And DSP is so dumb he reduces it to Druck Cults and greed.
