Enna's precise impressions of her nijiEN mates, dubbing over their announcement videos
No archiving cause I'm on mobile just watch the clip
Heres Iluna for completion

I'm asking, and begging, for when the new holomales stream and the 4-8 people that decide to treat the thread like a live chat, don't livepost 4 word posts for 30 pages.
Or at the very least keep context in mind for people reading the thread after the debuts

Her Reimu impression was actually perfect.

This clip was made recently for a moment that happened 3 days ago. Arurandeisu-papa called-in for the anniversary of Lain Paterson. They played some sword-fighting on Switch Sports as well.
That was a really good stream in general too. She decided to make it a tostumachi except instead of talking they all play a round of chambara. I hope that catches on. Some good EN rep in there too.

Why do people do it that often, is it some lemming race of everyone having the same self-fulfilling prophecy of "if I keep everything from a stream in one post, it'll get buried under 10 pages in the next five minutes"?

I think it's fine for people to be excited about things but also be aware that everyone else is watching the exact same thing as you. An opinion summary and use of the reactions is ideal.

Slightly tangential to this, but earlier today I decided to take a trip down memory lane and read this thread from when LazuLight debuted around May 13-20, 2021. It was a very interesting read, but it was also 4,900 pages ago.

This thread was created roughly a year before it on May 11, 2020. This means that a whole year - including Taiwan, Aloe, HoloCN, HoloMyth debut, Yuzuki Roa, and the Holo-caust - only took up 1,300 pages, and yet this last year has been more than triple that for, let's be honest, much less interesting stuff.

It's futile. Editing posts is too hard.

I agree with your post to an extent, but I'd like to add a little onto it. I think that people just genuinely want to share their excitement with other people. I do the same thing at times, but I just keep it to a minimal number of different posts because I don't want people to skip the thread. Sometimes I do want people to see what I thought was exciting because I think it deserves praise or what have you, and having people just move over it is bad for that lol. Anyway, the feeling of sharing your happiness with likeminded individuals just bathes your brain in happy juice, and makes for a good experience in the moment, but conversely it makes for a terrible experience for those that follow behind and just want to see what happened. I do think it's about wanting people to see the posts, but not for any malicious reason.

On a different note, I think the magposting is good because it's carrying away all the negativity from the disappointing design, even though most normies didn't seem to hate it anyway. The criticism was strongest here and with the shitposting of /vt/, once again proving that the opinions of fringe internet communities are almost completely worthless whether they are correct or not lmao (except for the times when those communities decide to be positive, and then it seems to have a higher degree of effectiveness on general discourse).

see personally I think the issue is that people post wrongly assuming that everyone else is watching the exact same thing.
Leaving a comment just saying "jeez what the hell is she talking about, that's so dumb" presuming others in the thread just know what they're talking about and using the thread like a stream chat everyones participating in. instead of like.... a forum thread that people will be coming back to and catching up on later and not necessarily watching that stream at all.

I think I've seen other threads detail it in posting guidelines as "writing for posterity" encouraging people to comment in a way that someone coming in later can understand what's being spoken about. so instead of just the vague "jeez what the hell is she talking about that's so dumb" it's better to explain what was said, by whom, and what's dumb about it.

It's possible to "live react" to a stream, but still construct your posts so that it doesn't seem like you're having a one side conversation with no one and might as well just be a discord chat message.

As for thread speed idk I think there's a lot of that that can also be chocked up to just a growing userbase within the thread, which will cause somewhat exponential increases in posting as more people means more discussing between people, and more people on top of that brings more back and forth as well. We've shed some users as this thread has carried on but for every one person that leaves we end up with 2-3 more semi regular posters. that's going to cause acceleration on it's own. 5 people discussing something is a lot more brief than 20 people, and 5 people will argue a lot less than 20 where opinions start to become more varied.

Maybe its because I never had an audience but why do people hate backseating so much? Cant the streamer just ignore chat? Spoilers I understand but backseating is just a few retards malding in chat because you are not doing what they want you to do. Personally I would probably just keep doing whatever the hell im doing just to piss them off even more.
One problem is that it can completely dominate the chat, so it's just constant wall of similar comments. Another is that it can ruin the content for challenging games that many viewers want to watch the streamer struggle through. And of course many streamers want to read and bounce off of the chat, so they can't just ignore it. I think whining at chat is not a good move though. If you're big enough to have mods, just pin a comment and have them bonk them. If not, get ready for very intimate backseat action with your 2 viewers. (:_( I've only ever streamed games I'm an expert at so I think it's funny when people try to backseat with noob strats, lets me show off more and bully them.

Shiina had mentioned Remi gets food poisoning often and Remi has confirmed this saying the Doctor called her out for being admitted for the same thing several times and wants a photo to prove she cleaned her fridge. The Doctor said she got sick from having raw chicken contaminating the other food in the fridge.

Even tho I somewhat agree with your position, it is very difficult to defend you or take you serious if you just derail the fucking vtuber thread with some religious and philosophical sperging - for no reason.
Hey, I sandwiched it inbetween a suggestion to make the yeeting Hope game better, and trying to better understand/explain Takodachi's l33t haxor-ing of Holocure. And I even steeped it in the context of Lumi and Pippa being doomers who could potentially be attracted to the 'darker' side of Christianity.

But now I'm just explaining myself and need to toss something vtuber related in this post....Ummmmm. So, things are usually on sale from Cover for a month, right? That means there's a pretty good chance that Mumei's birthday, Council's anniversary, and the plushies teased in the Cry Stream (maybe those are anniversary merch anyway) may all be able to go on one shipping bill, right?

Edit: Oh! In Mumei's last SC reading stream she teased something super vague about her birthday merch, in responding to one of the "buying a ticket" super chats she said that soon they could have a place to put all their tickets. My guess based on that would be a folder or magnets. I'll try to find the timestamp in a bit.

It's overshadowed Magni specifically for as long as /vt/ want to maintain the ironic basedposting of a guy just because his design is so awful they jumped on the opportunity.

Now Noir is alone and falling behind the rest because his design is bad but not bad enough for /vt/ to find humour in. YAGOO jumping on the 4ch posting to help promote them is enough whiplash to kill a horse.

It's a very interesting rogue strain of Reddit saviorfagging, but I can't think of a single example of saviorfagging that has been able to go the distance.
It's a meme and you're raving like you didn't take your meds.
Calm down before you clown yourself.
