General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I'm breaking my own posting rule and writing this before reading any of the thread since my last post. Apologies if I just parrot what other people are saying already.

He's gonna play Twilight Princess first, which is great for me personally. Although it usually takes a little while for Vtubers to find their stride, so maybe I'd enjoy it more later on once he gets in his groove, but that is my favorite Zelda game so I'll be watching him play it for sure. I can already tell that people are going to make fun of this 'wah' thing he's doing and memeing that he's stolen it from Ina. He's going to end up reacting to this debut stream in the future and making fun of all the awkward laughs and this nervous wah he keeps doing when he tries to change subjects. I feel bad that he got permanently debuffed with lactose intolerance with how much he likes dairy. He's got a nice voice imo. He's obviously just nervous having to go through all these bullet points just like everyone else does during their debut stream, so I'm eager to see what he's like when he's a bit calmer and more loose. I'll happily tune into whatever his first song cover is and hear if he's got pipes or not. I also like ballad songs in general, so maybe he'll do some nice relaxing karaoke stuff or maybe some feelsy power ballads. I'd love to have a 'bros' podcast I can tune into once in a while so that's a great idea. In the more superficial department, I liked his transition animation and end music. I also am enjoying the rpg like stats and graphics. It's a fun aesthetic.

That intro screen was obviously god tier, and he has some clinking glass lol. It was good start imo along with another nice voice. His model is definitely ugly with the rigging, but I've never really cared about that so it's only marginally distracting for me. Unless this guy was playing it up and I completely misread the situation, at first he seemed to be showing his nerves a little more than Regis, but I felt like when he actually knew what to say he had a nice delivery and the stream progressed smoother later on. The intelligence being maxed out is pretty blatantly untrue, but the luck being maxed is 100% true lmao. I like the copium schtick to an extent. I think it will just play more into meme images and shitposts in the future even if he never mentions it again. I also liked the whole potion skit. I wonder if he'll have any more uses for that stuff later on or if it's like an Amelia Watson special where it shows up once and never again? He's got some based opinions, with shitting on the new Thor, some of his anime picks being pretty good, his completely correct opinion on mushrooms and the 'hey' message. The silence after he said Maggintime was golden. I'm glad he didn't lean so hard into it, but he's also not ignoring it.

I could've put this in the Magni section, but just in general I wanted to say that Magni mentioning that he just wants to play co-op with the boys is what I was hoping for all this time for StarsEN. It would be great if the boys and girls choose to have fun collabs together as well, but I just want good times in general. So far, I tentatively like both of the Tempus boys, but time will tell if I just fall off or actually continue to watch them. They have to pull me in and keep me entertained, because I'm not going to pity watch them just because I want them to succeed. Survival of the fittest and all that!

I agree on something for once
