So you mean people who would actually do their jobs
Or, at the very least people not doing the exact opposite of their jobs.
The bar is VERY low right now, and *gestures vaguely at.... everything* there's little doubt about said low bar.

Sorry but I don't trust the Supreme Court.

Wait wait wait. I vaguely remember this.
They mean 50 overturned by "Trump and Allies" for a very good reason.
49 were barely related and one was by someone actually related to Trump (and by vaguely related, I mean one dude suing some dude and he voted republican at some point).

But it still does have a point, iirc almost all probes ended up doing nothing anyways, cuz the state didn't do anything.

And since, 2A was reinforced, Roe was overturned, the administration is being repeatedly bitchslapped for overextending its mandate, and in general the courts have gotten much less likely to sit it out.

Things happened since the election.

Trump just wrapped it here in AZ. Wow, what a rally. Packed as usual. He said everything that needed to be said and left little doubt he's running, except saying so.

Heeeeee'ssss bbbbbaaaaacccck, baby!

Funniest moment to me... saying Schiff has a head shaped like a watermelon! Hahaha ha! Suck it, Schiff!

Whats the current situation between Trump and Bannon? I though Trump had washed his hands of him some years ago.

Yes and No trump fired him from the cabinet to appease the GOP. But Trump and Bannon still talk and work with each other. In many ways Bannon is kind of the political movement that's formed on the basis of what the average trump supporter wants.

ie more sovereignty, less taxes and job killing regulations. TL Dr version.
It's complicated but Trump and Bannon are roughly on the same side.

@Gehenna any rumors in your line of work of where all the people jumping ship from admin are doing? or will we see a bigger exodus after november?
Mostly they either go to various NGOs or PACs. A few scurry off to academia or have holdout political positions they can transition to out of the limelight. Positions they feel are not very public but which also leave them posed to resume their bullshit if everything clears.

Chipping in on this, while I have not seen the two substantially interact since, I have seen their various political machines interact. Would not surprise me to find out they buried the hatchet together and are working together quietly. They at the very least have a formalized truce.

Checks bounced after the election.
In a way... yes. The Democrats were promising they'd not do anything out there. That it would be a stewardship candidacy. Add in as well the Trump appointed justices being worried about them taking action and it being viewed as partisan. As well as conflicting information. And the sheer level of unprecedented nature of it all.

SCOTUS was given enough reason to sit it out, and the belief it would all blow over.

And then reality ensued and the Democrats tried to take -everything-. Yah, that was several lines too far.

that just that.

They made rulings over the eviction moratorium, where they basically told the admin they need congress to give them the authority, but the court would just let things go as planned and even offered the admin a road map to get what they wanted.

The admin waited till the court was on break and extended it.

The admin then went full ham with shit like using OSHA for vax mandates etc.

That and the whole clerk leaking shit, along with the media getting one old thomas...I can see the court being pissy.

Where as before during election the court was very much "dont rock the boat kinda mood"

From the way I see it Bannon is a great activist I mean the right wing should be listening to him more. The problem is he had to be axed because neocons are cuckolds. I've met plenty of neoconservatives they're usually cuckold's or really based it depends if they're gay or not. but jokes aside Trump and Bannon more or less know what's up with each other. I think January 6th was an attempt to smear trump and they're trying to go after Bannon because he might start the campaign in 2024.

The problem is the neo liberals just want to destroy Putin and assert their eurofaggotry dominance. The far left made up of the cringe fringe, AOC, and millennial grifters just want to overthrow muh heckin capitalism in muh hecking USA.

The surpreme court knew that if they didn't go along with 2020 their heads would have been on pikes. With the cringe fringe left blowing much of their anger they've essentially are embolding the right wing anger especially as January 6th is being used as a casus belli to Garner support.

I consider the Roe v Wade leak, and no reported punishment for it.

And how it's riled up the MSM and the Democrats, I wonder if it wasn't all planned to try and drum up support for the Democrats in the run up to the midterms.

What? It has utterly fallen flat if that were somehow the case. All signs indicate that Roe landed with a wet thud due to the general populace caring more about economic issues. Roe did jack shit to help the Democrats in the midterms.

Also, reported punishment is not the same as no punishment. The last thing anyone on the courts would want is to publicise that, especially if it were someone close to one of the justices. They'd keep it quiet and punish them without making a fuss.
