I've come to immediately distrust and dislike anyone who announces their doctorate outside of a context in which it is directly relevant, it's an immediate red flag for (usually vulnerable, rather than grandiose) narcissism. If you're just an incredibly smart person, you don't need to announce it with a bullhorn, it should be immediately apparent.

I don't even know what these loony troons consider hate speech. The EU hate speech laws I'm familiar with usually describe hate speech as "statements that incite hatred or violence based on arbitrary characteristics such as ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender expression". Some, like the German or French laws also include defamation based on these same characteristics. "I don't agree with natal males who decided to express their gender as a woman competing with natal females who express their gender as women" isn't any of these.
