Is this the signalling flare of the final medical saga or are we just in a filler 'Cardio Troubles' arc? I swear she went to the hospital for a checkup related to cardiovascular issues just before Cuba Beeze.
It's more than feasible this post will be one of the last times we hear about this little medical speedbump based on every single other recent ER BEEEEZE episode in the last year.

I for one am relieved to hear of her enlarged heart and whatever else it entails. It is almost like a return to the good old days, when the only real intrigue was whether or not she was gonna drop dead soon. If she swears off junk foods and starts a new rotten grape elixir regimen to shrink her heart, it will feel like 2018 all over again. Such nostalgia is a nice respite from everything else.

Cardiomegaly isn’t a disease. It’s a symptom.

Things that can cause an enlarged heart include:

Hypertension
Pulmonary hypertension
Heart attack
HIV
Kidney Disease

And other cardiac illnesses.

They need to identify and treat the underlying cause. But the damage has already been done.

I expect she will have a new prescription for arrhythmia medications thst she will be able to not bother taking.

Let's not forget the enlarged spleen (aka. splenomegaly) as well, which she was diagnosed with (at the same time as the super-extreme-severe-chronic-fatty liver).


Basically, all her organs are either; removed (for being literally so diseased that there was no other option than to surgically take them out of her body, crazy)
...OR they've 'just' ballooned and are now massive in size – since working super-extra hard in trying to keep her alive still, while she seems to be doing everything she can to destroy her insides. Damn.
