What do you mean when you say that people 'wonder why'? I'm being serious lol. If I ever saw anyone actually wondering why she has the uoh crowd, then I'd assume they must be both blind and deaf. She is the only EN Holo that has a model like that, so wouldn't it just plain make sense that she has literally all of them even when she barely plays to it on stream? Plus she has the must protecc daughteru/imouto crowd, plus the shitpost crowd, plus the normies who come around just because she's the 'biggest'. When it's all spelled out, she has many different viewers that show up for different reasons, but they all want to see the cute shark girl being cute.
To be honest, I actually think that she's leaving ridiculous amounts of money on the table by not acting this way more often, but I also know she seems to only get in the mood for this stuff once or twice a year for whatever reason. Personally, if she started doing real gfe all the time like Rushia used to it might cut back on my watch time somewhat, but I'd wager that it's just some extra fluff like usual.

Man from the more I learn with the business side of PC, the more I think FIshman tries to do everything and stretch himself thin. Especially with the merch stuff, he should a team of people to work on stuff instead of trying to dabble in everything. I think his company is at that point now at least. Then again I don't know, maybe he does have some dude running his site. If he does, then he should consider hiring another person or have that dude get training!

I've wondered about this too, because like you said, most of her stuff always seemed like it was trolling. Like she would be the first to make a sarcastic "9000 year old shark" joke. And without hearing it, I believe the posters here saying that maid stream was mostly a troll about her breaking stuff and what-not.
More rrat-y than I like to be so I'm not saying I believe this, just that it's a question I've had, psychology wise (and this could apply to any vtuber and some other forms of media, so imagine this as a general person and not Gura specifically); if her body type is indeed similar to her model, I kinda wonder if people physically liking her model is a self-esteem boost to her in reality, and she might be feeling insecure recently and essentially fishing for compliments by trying to make her character more attractive.
But, odds are that this is all being overblown and people are just over-reacting to a couple of cutesy posts/streams.

Every school around me the big 3 languages you could pick to learn were German, Spanish, and French. The girls tend to lean towards French. So it isn't surprsing if she is from the US to have learned French in the past. I had 5 years of German myself (not that I remember much of any of it).
Yes that post is real, but GFE is stretching it in my opinion. She's just doing a bit of maid RP which is a pretty common and normal weeb anime trope. You guys are always looking for any excuse, it's honestly amusing. And everything she does doesn't magically make it loli. She's not pretending to be a child, just a maid. JFC starting to sound like dear leader here... She's even done maid stuff before with that ASMR collab with Fauna. Pump the brakes and let's see where this goes first.

I can only presume it's The Cycle without looking into it. In which case, yes. It was interesting in the closed beta runs and had a bit of promise, though some early signs of problems were there in the relatively poor balance of PvE issues, the weapons you start with are absolute dogshit against anything more than one to three enemies at a time and can't really risk much of fighting anything. It's also a linear scaling equipment game rather than the kind of 'variable quality but still usable' weapon pool in Tarkov. You might pull off a win with a base-shit AKS vs some AR tacticool fag by simply being faster on the draw, but in The Cycle it's basically straight numbers checks. If their armour is just better, they'll take you down first unless they're actually brain dead.
Coming out of beta and into release, they have a $100 pay to win founder's pack that gives you a bunch of equipment and currency shit that free players have to farm for, and with the whole spectacle that escape pods are to try to extract and the amount of time it takes to get out, someone can just run you down as you're trying to get out with loot and simply statcheck you into oblivion. This is before you get to all the shit about it's anti-cheat is Battleye, which is lmao at best.

I will say that she can make fun of the 9000yo shark thing, but that's what she's unironically playing lol. She's just self-aware enough to be able to make fun of it. Your rrat could be 100% true. It may very well be that she enjoys all that stuff for that very reason. However, like you said yourself, your last line in the post is almost certainly the correct one. She's just being extra cute with the whole maid stuff.
I'm gonna schizo post right here, but I certainly feel as though there's been a uptick in the last couple of weeks with complaints about Gura or her model, or complaining about her fans by generalizing them into one specific category. I was ignoring it because it's just opinion posting mostly, but I think that was the wrong move as it just keeps happening. Except now there's also /vt/ rrats that are being brought in as if they actually have any merit behind them other than trolling.
Gura isn't sucking on cucumbers or talking about how much she wants you to get all up in her gills, so I'd like it if the /vt/ shit would stay over there. That means the uoh-ing too (even though it hasn't been seen here). I just want to see the shark be cute and do cute things, and she's been succeeding lately.

I mean if Vox or not-Rushia were posting stuff about sniffing images I'm pretty sure people here would not hesitate to jump on the bfe/gfe discourse and generalize their fans as fujos or hopeless simps. Gura gets this just like anyone else, if it's more noticeable that's probably just a result of her being popular.

Yeah, that's what I'm getting at. I cannot understand how any one person could be confused in the first place lol. It should be completely self evident to anyone with functioning eyes and ears.
That would be warranted because they regularly engage in g/bfe, and so it could be easily assumed that they are acting with that as the core concept of most things they do. However, Gura has only a couple things you could point to in that regard, and as such posts like the one in question are hardly deserving of what I would call gfe. Her last members stream was not gfe, and this post is also not gfe as she's just acting in line with her uwu hyper cute shork persona.
