There is a big difference between a overreaching federal government which liberals love and the more decentralized state rights that conservatives adore. Also people seem to confuse libertarians and conservatives, though the reason is probably because you can find both within the GOP.
Not really. Government overreach is overreach no matter where it comes from. That doesn't mean I disagree with some of the thing's conservatives want done. But I do notice the hypocrisy.
Correct, but that's not a popular opinion in these parts.

A boot on my neck from the nation's capital isn't any less painful than a boot on my neck from the state capital. It's still a boot on my neck.

Also, conserv's are just fine with using the feds for their morality policing.
That's pretty much what it boils down to. Who is going to get to put their boot on the others neck?

Like I said I don't disagree with some of things they want but I do notice the hypocrisy.

The hardcore moralism will eventually destroy whatever nationalist populist movement that's going on right now if they aren't careful. The vast majority of the population doesn't swing that far one way or the other.

You reap what you sow, Chomsky.

You argued for increased state control over vaccine mandates, even humoring the idea of 'removing' unvaccinated members of the populace. Before that, you fed into the idea that Trump was an existential threat to democracy, and that whatever needed to be done to remove him, should be done. Don't come crying to me about how the US is suddenly more totalitarian.

To be fair to Chomsky, he considers Biden the lesser of two evils between Trump. Essentially, two sides of the same shit. He can't win!

Take note Trump supports Zionist Israel.

To save me from sitting through Russell Brand can someone TL;DR what the US gov is actually censoring and how? What Russian sources is it that you can't get there?
It's a little bit of an overexaggeration. You can still go on RT if you want to individually. I hope he's referring to main stream coverage is anti-russian and doesn't portray their side of it. Which.. is what countries tend to do when they are at war with someone.

Try to say something pro russian anywhere mainstream or at work. See what happens.

Do you see anyone else doing it when you turn on the tv?

Society never 100% agrees on anything, even a lot of basic things. 60% agreement is considered a broad mandate to impose your will. So its being suppressed.

Anything that goes against the American hegemony in a nutshell. The American government is always right.
