Part 1 of 2

The furry fandom is a very visual one, so much so that a majority of those that benefit from it are in the business of physical and digital art. Often unsung are the writers, those who either stick to a purely literarily format or who actually weave a story together with text and picture. In today's Western society, single subject images or small comics are much more popular than their much more focus-intensive long-form counterparts, as the attention span of children and adults alike have diminished to just a few seconds per subject.

In this thread, we are going to share in depth the stories spun out in furry fashion, be they a diamond in the rough or absolute literary garbage. With that said, this thread's posting etiquette should focus on Fair Use - "the use of the subject for criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research" just to name a few examples. This is in place to make sure that the thread is not mucked-up with low-effort "lol look at this fetish" posts. Below are three examples (two here, one linked) of how to post about a subject in an analytical and Fair Use fashion.

The Pervert

Ever want to hear a troon-out story from a narcissistic AGP fetishist, made by a fellow troon? Kiwis & Animal Controllers, look no further.

Remy Boydell, the furry creator of this comic worked alongside below Rat King's Matt Perez to produce this disgusting story of Perez's journey as a troon sex worker growing up in Seattle. Apparently Perez was as much as a pleasure as any troon is to work with (article), and this was the result. Should you want to read the full comic and not just the highlights and summary below, please see either the Source or Archive.

  • Troon moves to Seattle in the early 2010s, does sex work for hormones.
    • The Pervert: "The Clients who fuck me in the ass pretend to be straight no fair D:<"
    • Couples: Womxn who buy male hookers always want their bfs to be a part of it ewww"
    • Lunch: "Let's mutilate our dicks together."
    • Sex Positive: Sad old man whose troon wife passed away falls in love with protagonist, protagonist will abuse this.
    • Trouble In Paradise: "Getting called a fag makes me angery! Also had to break up with gf who didn't want to constantly fuck me :( "
    • Cut Throat: Blowjob in public - assaults a stranger who calls him gross which in this chapter he very much is.
    • Get Some: "Suck my cock random man I'm clean and will never have safe sex!" Gets treated nice at work only for it to not be enough when he's let go.
    • In Dreams: *Has wet dream about killing sad old man who loves him*
    • Sleep Walk: Three kinds of ppl in this comic: troon camwhores, troon hookers & troon chasers - all absolutely degenerate.
    • Up All Night: Claims he hates being a hooker - still enjoys the sex. Hypocrite.
    • Blackout: "Lol we both have feminine penises lets fuck."
    • Migraine: "I hate the people that give me free food because they're Christian :neckbeard: "
    • Bloody Cape: "I nuu wanna go home to Michigan but don't also wanna be homeless, sad old man plz help me but also don't!"
    • Death Rattle: "I hafta go home so sad :'( also sad old man I never loved you I just wanted your money haha"
    • Best Coast: "Home not so bad :) could have done it sooner!"

The Pervert

The Pervert is a comic (and the name of the first chapter) that follows the life of a young adult Matt Perez (named "Felina" in the comic) as an anthropomorphized dog akin to Peanuts' Snoopy, working as a sex worker in Seattle. The first few panels show Perez's character engaging in anal sex with a client, lamenting in his thoughts how gay men in transitionary bisexuality are lying to themselves:
1658356417025.png
This chapter focuses around the norm of his experience as a pre-op transsexual prostitute, where most of his normal clients are men who claim to be straight and how they are full of themselves. Perez thinks with a sense of disgust that he swallowed his client's cum in the ball pit of a fast-food restaurant, and how he is getting used to this life. What caught my attention the second time around reading this is that in this chapter, the client mentions he can see the outline of his male genitals in his shorts, and that he is okay with that. At no point did I think that Perez's portrayal ever looked like a female - instead I was under the impression he looked like a metrosexual young man. And to drive a point home, he goes into the women's bathroom to wipe the makeup off his face before leaving the site.

Couples

Now to add context, Perez appears to be portrayed in his mid-twenties in this loosely autobiographical comic. Given that context, this would be anywhere between 2012-2014 that these stories take place. At first I was under the impression that this was a historical fiction story because Perez is using a cellphone/smartphone while in his younger years. I though this because I did not know he was born in 1988, though looks to be in his late forties from a video made in 2013:

Source
I am adding this in here and now to show just how well he might have "passed" during that time.
Anyways, onto the Couples chapter, Perez finds himself hired to be a fag hag turned temporary heterosexual prostitute for a female client. On the way to her place. he thinks about how it's risky to whore himself out to women, due to the danger of her lying about her relationship status and her partner walking in. Seeing a theme here? Perez is the victim, everyone else to him are the sex-pest scumbags. He goes over the checklist in his head to do his job for this Jane Doe - be interested, polite and talk about being busy. After the date, he goes back to her place with her where he asks about pictures of the woman with kids and another man. Jane Doe undresses and claims to be single, and that the pictures are of her ex - but like clockwork, the woman's partner, portrayed as John Arbuckle from "Garfield", pops in and wants in on the action.
1658359150029.png
Perez hates when women do this to him. The final page of the chapter is his thoughts on cooking a dish made by a loved one - it can be replicated but truly never tastes the same. Also, he would have only charged $70 should his night went as planned.

Lunch

Out of all the chapters to hit me like a train in the sense I still cannot make sense of it. It starts off innocently enough with Perez eating at a diner with another MtF troon. He observes her eating chicken noodle soup that his companion says has a texture of egg drop soup. Perez's reply is "Fuckin' gross. Is some dude's cum all up in that shit?" which to me, and assuming to you - is not a very feminine thing to say, but such is to be expected with men. It sounds more like two guys talking shit to each other, and that isn't even the end of it. I will post the two out-of-left-field pages below, then discuss:
1658359997333.png
1658360027275.png
In short, Perez's rat-like companion asks him how far along he is, he holds out his dog-like paw (without thumbs, despite having thumbs everywhere else) to show how soft his skin(?) is. He then comments that his dick is trying to be like his skin, soft and trying to turn into a "pussy". Yes, that's right, the AGP's favorite word for female genitalia, one which real women never use to refer to their vagina. The rat then offers a "quick fix to that" and pulls out a knife from his purse, to which Perez reacts by agreeing and wanting to stick his penis in a nearby Reuben sandwich. Rat then asks about the burger Perez ordered, then recalls a burger he had once in France, and that a classmate was afraid Rat would turn him gay if he didn't sleep on the floor away from him. Perez, in alphamale fashion, tells Rat "I don't give a fuck about your faggy David Sedaris story" and instead wants to know about the burger. The chapter ends with a weird start to what I can only imagine is foreplay for these people, where Rat mentions "Let's cut our dicks in half with this knife." See below:
1658360707549.png
Honestly, if you watched the video of Perez I included in the "Couples" chapter, it's easy to imagine these disgusting words coming out of his mouth - everything about him is the polar opposite of womanly, and it shows in this comic.

Sex Positive

This chapter is the beginning of a rather odd sub-story in the clusterfuck that is the main story. The first page is Perez on his way to a client's apartment. He thinks about how Seattle is "ok" for his line of work, and that "sex positivity" isn't real, but more like a 'fuck you' to the law. At the door we are introduced to Tom, an old gray bulldog. Tom is a regular of Perez's, and Perez comes onto Tom, most likely because that is how Tom would have wanted an interaction to go, but this time he refuses. Perez goes to sit on a recliner on one end of the room, only to remember that seat is off-limits. Tom dismisses his error and says he can sit, saying he "misses her" who we are first led to believe is Tom's late wife. Tom calls Perez over to sit on his lap. Perez obliges, and Tom says he just wants to talk to Perez this time and startles him with a hug. Tom then wants to know why Perez whores himself out, Perez refuses to tell why. Tom insists Perez tell him why he is a prostitute, and Perez agrees only if Tom tells him why he hires him in the first place. Tom explains that it is due to the loss of his "wife" - Perez tells Tom that Seattle isn't a bad place for "old gays" like him. Tom resents this label, and makes sure Perez knows it. Tom refuses to tell Perez any more about his wife, so Perez asks why Tom hires him, a gay man. Tom gives Perez a drink and tells him to swear not to tell anyone this - that his wife was a transsexual. The following page ensues:
1658361645464.png
"So you guys remind me of her" is Tom's answer. For someone who resents the label of homosexuality, living with a pre-op MtF still falls in that definition. Perhaps this is another example of an individual who is stuck in transitionary bisexuality, using someone else's delusions to assure his own - his troon husband who believed he was a woman and Tom who believes that made him straight. Bruce/Katlyn Jenner gets an honorable mention as a troon role-model, further cementing the time period of early to mid 2010s. Tom then refers to his late "wife" as a "him", Perez corrects him only for Tom to reply "I always knew my wife was a girl, even though she had a little extra. Shit, I don't know." This is quite telling of Tom, more so to his confusion and possible coming around to the fact he was really in a homosexual relationship. Having fulfilled his end of the deal, Tom asks Perez why he is a hooker. Perez states that he is putting himself though college and cannot get work placement, though the "Yeah. Yes" at the end of his statement makes it sound like a lie.

Tom leans into Perez, telling him he can feel (what I can only assume is) a binder under his shirt. Perez tries to deny this, but Tom assures him his boywife, "Edna", did the same thing with bandages. Perez defends his decision by saying he does not want to do any of this work as a girl, and no amount of money could make him do it. This sticks out to me - Perez seem to believe that once he transitions, he will be a different person, so he sacrifices whoring himself out for money as a boy so when he is a girl, her image and slate will be pure and clean. This, of course as we all know, is never how it works. Tom asks for a kiss, and Perez obliges. The chapter ends.

Trouble in Paradise

This chapter starts off incredibly based:
1658362893868.png
What appears to be a homeless man or street thug asks Perez for a bagel in which he is eating. Perez refuses, calling the beggar "my guy." Somehow this tips the beggar off to Perez's orientation, and calls him a faggot. Perez then offers him his food, which the man refuses on account of not wanting to get AIDS. This makes Perez unreasonably angry and threatens the man in a very bizarre fashion, saying he would "fuck [him]", "jam a size 11 shoe up [his] ass" and "smash [his] head off the fucking fire hydrant and cum all over the brains".
:stress:
In the next page we see Perez has vacation plans with "Annie" via a text and he responds, saying he plans to ask for time off work - turns out he does have a job and it is at a call center. He thinks to himself he has not had an outburst like the one above for a long time. When in the center, he is told there are no shifts for that day. Perez asks about a Romney campaign opportunity, and tells the shift manager that if he does not get this, his girlfriend would kill him. The shift manager relents and gives him the job - he smiles at his desk.
The next scene is of him and who we assume to be Annie, a gray cat. Both are in bed, and without warning Perez begins to masturbate. Annie asks him what the fuck he is doing - to which Perez replies he has done this in front of her many times and is just calming his nerves. Annie asks him why he cannot be satisfied, after all they are on vacation in Portland. This angers Perez, as he does not want to go into the communal restroom to self-pleasure. Annie retorts that she just wants "one day without it constantly being without sex." It appears Perez has outed himself in this story as a sex-addict in his retelling. Perez defends his actions by saying he just wanted to get off, blames Annie for not being intimate with him for more than a month, and asks why she is always on his back. Here's where it gets good - Annie paid for dinner while Perez bought books. Annie states she is tired of being the one who always has to make the mature decisions. Perez tells Annie they will need to talk about their relationship after the vacation, then fucks off to the bathroom and thinks to himself about his gag reflex.
This chapter is amazing in the fact that it paints Perez as a very unlikable character. If you've read up on Perez's thread here, you'd know he is always a victim and can do no wrong in his own eyes - even in telling this story his own way he makes himself out to be a large asshole.

Cut Throat

This is another excellent chapter that showcases how MtFs can never be rid of their toxic male rage, no matter how feminine they pretend to be. Also this chapter is full of troon sexual degeneracy, which was bound to happen since this is, of course a troon story.
To best summarize this, it starts with Dimitri (a red cat) and his brown-furred feline partner coming across Perez and his brown-furred canine friend. the feline asks Perez if he and the other canine are friends, which he responds in the positive. The group of four sit on a park bench. Without explanation, the brown-furred feline starts to preform oral sex on Perez in public. The canine who was seen entering with Perez leaves, causing this scene:
1658364924231.png
Honestly, I cannot make sense of this panel - Dimitri getting sad, then Perez saying he still likes him? What the fuck happened?
Moving on, the three go back to a house where they snort cocaine and have group sex. Perez wakes after the hedonistic night and looks worse for wear, needing a shave. Walking home, Perez can hear others talking about him. He tries to ignore this until a mechanic calls him a "Fucking gross tranny" which leads to Perez beating the ever-living-shit out of him. The mechanic relents, Perez leaves and returns to his place of residence where he washes the blood off of himself in the shower.

Truly a powerful portrayal of how hormones can be administered, but the male urge of violence still persists. The reason this scene is justified is because a lot of "queer" people want to be violent, but know if they did so in reality, they'd be fighting a losing battle. Instead, they consoom media like this showing the underdog poor trans womyn beating a bigot, something they will never see or do in their lifetimes.

Get Some

This chapter starts off going from 0 to 100, with Perez in a bed suddenly performing oral sex on a man. What makes this scene interesting is that his enlarged breasts are out. So much for "not doing this work as a girl" I guess. Perez thinks that if this John gets violent he could use a nearby lamp as a weapon. Perez is then flipped on his back and now receiving anal sex, to which he encourages the John to keep on going. They both climax, with John having ejaculated inside of Perez. Perez then thinks to himself he now needs to go to the clinic.

At the clinic, he is told he is clean and HIV negative. The doctor recommends he practice safe sex - Perez responds "Yhea, that's not gonna fucking happen." Very nice, exactly what a healthcare professional wants to hear. While leaving the clinic this interaction comes about:
1658365690961.png
Having told a disappointed-looking man to suck his cock, he is rightfully asked to leave. Perez then goes out in pity for himself, saying he does not value his life, he puts all his love into others, that love motivates his every action, no matter how negative it is to his life - absolute lies as we have seen throughout the comic thus far and will continue to see.

The next scene in the chapter takes place a few months earlier, where he is referred to as a fag by a co-worker in a factory. Going in to assist his co-worker, something slips and Justin, his co-worker, blames Perez for it. Perez quietly resonates how his wrench is durable, and that he has love in his heart but wants to cave Justin's head in. Perez then says he has to see James, the foreman portrayed as Clifford, The Big Red Dog. Perez goes to James who praises Perez for his rising performance, but Perez deflects by telling James that he (Perez) isn't a good man but does not deserve this [job]. Perez tells James about how the other workers insult and threaten him. James passes this off as a part of work culture, Perez tries to get himself fired by asking James if he is a conservative - to which he responds that he is a moderate. Perez then tells James that he is a girl, which catches James off guard. James mistakes Perez for a FtM - which Perez corrects him for:
1658366457389.png
James, God bless him, tries to make light of the conversation by asking Perez if he has a vagina. Perez jokes about it and the price with James, with James asking Perez if he wants to be called by a different name. Perez admits he doesn't see a future at the workplace. James offers Perez a raise until he finds work elsewhere, which Perez accepts. A month or so later, Perez is let go due to a co-worker dumping a costly amount of soap, and needing to make up the loss. Perez laments that they should have fired the meth-user who let two chemicals mix to create a poison. Out of all the characters I feel bad for in this comic, it's James. A man with a heart of gold being forced to supervise a narcissistic troon - who knew a minor character would be the most likable?

In Dreams

This chapter is a fever dream, in which it doesn't happen, but is telling of Perez's psyche. Perez, in his dream looks much more like a woman, clothing included. He vocally states he does not like it - only for the surroundings to swallow him whole. He lands in a dreamscape, where he wanders until Tom finds him and helps him to a house. In the house, Edna's recliner is visible, with the lamp from "Get Some" next to it. Perez takes the lamp and strikes Tom:
1658367800661.png
Tom is shown lying on the ground, bleeding from a head wound. Perez goes outside to find Tom standing there, looking saddened. Perez breaks down crying, apologizing - only to wake up having had a nocturnal emission.

Sleep Walk

This chapter is told from the perspective of Tom in his younger years, having just moved from the Midwest to Seattle, telling a stranger how much he hated where he lived. After having purchased marijuana from this stranger, he gets in a cab where he sees a feline woman attempting to hail a cab - he suggests to the driver that she might want to rideshare. The woman timidly enters the taxi. Tom asks her where she is headed, she responds by telling him it is a punk concert, then describes it as a bunch of "shitty drunks yelling and playing guitar bad." Tom is interested in seeing this, so he goes with the woman to said punk concert. While there, Tom is struck in the head by a guitar thrown into the crowd by a band member. Tom tells Edna, the feline woman that going to the concert was a good idea, then loses vision, then consciousness - only to awake in the hospital.

Awaking in the hospital, we see Tom in the same room as a male nurse who looks suspiciously similar to Edna. Tom asks the nurse if he knew the woman who dropped him off, the nurse responds in the negative, disappointing Tom. Upon being discharged, the nurse tells Tom if he sees her, he will call him. Later, Tom gets a call at his residence from Edward, the nurse, who claims he found her (Edna). Tom gives Edward the address, and shortly thereafter there is a knock at Tom's door - only for it to be Edward, who claims the woman flaked and wanted nothing to do with Tom. Tom is disappointed again, but invites Edward in nonetheless for drinks. Tom goes on about how he felt it was true love with the woman he met (despite not even knowing her for a few hours) and would want to see her again, but would give her space if that is what she wanted.

Edward then asks to use the restroom, where he goes and gets out a wig and makeup from his backpack. He dons his female façade and calls to Tom:
1658369601099.png
Tom, asks what she did to him. Edward/Edna tells him he is dumb as hell, as Tom starts to put the pieces together, albeit poorly. Tom asks if it's a prank - no. Tom asks if he can fly - no. Edward tells Tom he is transsexual. Tom and Edward talk about Edward's situation - Tom is very open to it and tells Ed that he will always be safe with him. Ed spends the night with Tom, they kiss and the chapter ends.

Honestly, they made Tom's character so stupid I do not believe that if Tom actually existed, this would be his story - or anywhere near it. Perez's history of attention-seeking knows no bounds, therefore I do not trust this chapter one bit as far as accuracy to actual events.

Up All Night

This chapter starts with the assumption that time has passed, as Perez has a ponytail which has grown out. We see Perez pacing in his room, calling someone in his contacts called "Weed Trap". A feminine scene looking cat answers - Perez wants to talk about his life - and the cat tells Perez this is a transaction and to have started with "I'm not a cop". Perez complies and tells the cat that cops can have sex with then arrest - the cat tells Perez America sounds awesome. I have reason to believe this character is Boydell's fursonification - being a cat and located outside the United States of America. The interaction between them is stiff at best, awkward at worst:
1658371671191.png
The cat sends Perez a lewd photo after they hang up. The scene changes to Tom in present day looking out a window, who we assume is a troon-prostitute Ed lookalike in bed & Weed Trap Cat on a webcam. The scenes continue to shift, now to Perez prostituting himself, then to not-Ed sitting on Tom's face, to Tom thinking of a feminine Perez, then Ed with Perez, then a different scene with Weed Trap masturbating with a dildo inside him. Scenes continue to mix back to Perez receiving anal sex, then Not-Ed performing oral sex on Tom, to Perez's face in climax, to Tom's face, heartbroken, then to Weed Trap ejaculating on himself. The scene mixing slows down with Weed Trap getting paid online, Perez getting paid, Tom paying Not-Ed, then Perez getting a call from Tom. Perez declines Tom's call, which saddens Ed. Perez then calls Weed Trap - telling him that he never wanted to get into this work - it was just a fantasy. Perez feels dissatisfied with his life, as he believed there would be a payoff, but instead all he gets is money to pay for his hormones. Perez continues, being afraid for his safety and feeling sorrow and hate for his clients. Weed Trap tries to reassure Perez everything will be okay, and to hold on. A panel of Tom kneeling before the recliner is shown. The chapter ends.

The amount of sex shown and the pleasure shown on Perez's face leads me to believe that this isn't as bad for him as he makes it out to be. Not only that, but it appears that he’s started to emotionally sap Weed Trap.

Blackout

This chapter starts with Rat from the "Lunch" chapter at Perez's place - they are both shown preforming oral sex on each other's male genitals. Rat notices Perez was in a magazine called "Basement Sluts". Perez apologizes to Rat that he could not have anal sex with him as he is too "charismatic". Perez then comments on Rat's Prince Albert penile piecing, and Rat agrees that it was best he did not have anal sex with him. Rat then tells Perez two of his exes "blacked out" when he attempted anal sex with them - the first falling over, the second losing consciousness and hitting his head:
1658373255041.png
Sex is talked about so casually and insensitively here, making all involved including Perez look and sound like absolute coomers. Perez and Rat are then shown at a table, clothed taking about the two above incidents. Perez then wants to try anal sex despite the risk of the Prince Albert on Rat. The final page of the chapter shows the two prepping for anal sex.

Migraine

Perez awakes feeling as if his head is on fire - he attributes this to him pulling in more money. He goes down to the food pantry run by a local church. At the church, he observes "The Mexican moms and Filipino Grandmas have no arguments today." "Lie about how many people are in your household." - things thought about by someone with a lot of love in their heart who gives only to others. It gets better:
1658374278129.png
It's hard to feel any sympathy for Perez at this point, because he is a parasite. How he barely knew Weed Trap and unloaded his problems onto her, how he made Tom his regular, an emotionally vulnerable old man in mourning, not practicing safe sex and the common visits to clinics - Perez is a drain to everything he touches. The next few panels is him with the cart, putting his food in the fridge, then going atop a hill to ride down it via shopping cart, only to crash and bloody his nose. He then thinks about the food pantry again, then about his clients, how again he convinces himself "I don't do this as a girl. I'll give you everything. I'll give you her. I gotta survive."

Clearly this last bit is conflicting with his previous promise not to prostitute as a girl, which is pointless because he will never actually be a woman.

Bloody Cape

This chapter starts off silent, depicting a human hunter stalking and shooting a deer.
The second page shows Perez with Rat - both are in a restaurant with Perez hinting on a literary project - notes about how he does not want to go back to Michigan. Rat asks what happens in Michigan, Perez tells him anything he could say would not do it justice. Rat asks if they still hunt there, Perez confirms this, and that his dad is a hunter. Perez talks about how he's eaten more deer than sushi in his life - this freaks Rat out which causes her to leave. In this universe I would wager that hunting is seen as a cruel, discriminatory practice since all main and secondary characters in this story are part-animal. Perez is shown in bed with Tom, where they have this exchange:
1658375435970.png
Even with a John, Perez is still absolutely pathetic and looks for attention and pity wherever he is.
Tom holds Perez and asks if his father would approve of it. Perez sarcastically tells Tom that he would get a medal or personal pan pizza for "drinking old man cum". Tom tries to suggest he isn't that old, and might be the age of Perez's dad. Perez brushes Tom off, telling him that his father is younger than him. Perez goes to leave, Tom asks him about "that story" but Perez doesn't answer. Perez goes through Tom's fridge, then flash forwards to him at home, looking at a contact for his father on his phone, then calls Tom. Perez skates to Tom's house, and lies down at the doorstep, not knocking. Tom finds him, takes him in and takes care of Perez, tending to him. When asked if he's eaten anything, Perez tells him no, it has gone awry. Perez spirals:
1658376065299.png
Perez went to Tom because "You don't know enough to hurt me." In true parasitical and narcissistic fashion, when Tom offers to take Perez in, Perez leads him on, saying Tom doesn't even know his name. Tom introduces himself as Tom Redding who works with the mayor's office, and that "I have sex with feminine men and shemales." This somewhat amuses Perez, who tells Tom nobody says that anymore. Tom defends his words in jest, to where Perez says "They sell it as a brand. Nobody calls themselves Angel or Bambi at home. Maybe they do, I don't know."

Perez is so close with this quote - of course troonism is sold as a brand, for the first time in history a marginalized group of people have a price tag on their head, and are encouraged to submit to the services of Big Pharma to go into debt - hook, line and sinker. Additionally, we know AGP fetishists like Perez often choose obnoxious feminine stripper names - for example we have a forum on one Jessica (Jonathan Yaniv) Simpson who 100% could have chosen a less obnoxious name. But no, he had to choose the name of a female celebrity.

Perez tells Tom it is "an experience, being sold" to which is followed up by Perez telling Tom he could have met someone after Edna. Tom does not take kindly to this and tells Perez he is saying it because he is sick, then asks if he needs to get an HIV test. Perez calls Tom an asshole, then apologizes. The conversation then moves to Tom asking about the story from before, the one from Michigan, asking why anyone would want to read such a sad story - THIS STORY. Perez defends his work by saying that it's where he's from, and where he's going back to unless he wants to be homeless. Tom again tries to convince Perez to stay with him, that they could be happy and he would let Perez fuck other people, that he does not need to be alone or be a prostitute forever.

Tom then gets to ask his question about the story - if Perez ever shot a deer. Perez admits to gutting them after his father shot them, but never shot one himself. Tom again tries to tell Perez he can stay. The chapter ends.
It should be obvious to Perez at this point that Tom is head over heels for him, that dramatically showing up lying at his doorstep and dumping his problems on him would cause Tom distress, but it happened regardless.

Death Rattle

Perez is packing up his possessions, reflecting on the times he has sold his body. He thinks to himself, "There were interesting moments. None of them felt like they were mine. I was present. Composure was maintained." One panel shows him kissing a John, and Perez thinking about kissing Weed Trap. Perez then shifts his reflection onto the first time when he cried at work as a survey agent when he had a conversation with a woman who lost her kids to a car fire, then asking her to rate her experience with the auto insurance company. The scenes shift to Perez walking though a store, first asking for cigarettes, then nicotine gum.

"There's nothing worse than lacking the self awareness to know you've lost."

These words are too little too late, coming from someone who sold their body, poisoned lives and was a parasite to the community around him.

Best Coast

Two weeks later, Perez is seen walking though an airport terminal X-ray. The x-ray shows his enlarged breasts and male genitalia. "I love making C-students uncomfortable with their careers."

What does it say about someone who loves making others uncomfortable? The picture of Perez painting himself as someone with a lot of love in his heart died as soon as this story was told - he comes off as so unlikable it's a miracle that nobody pulled the plug on this comic. I suppose troons get plot armor and a free pass to do and say whatever they please.

Perez gets a call from Tom, begging Perez not to leave, that he can take care of him, he doesn't need to be alone. Perez finally tells him his name, "Felina Love." Tom asks who that it, Perez responds with "It's me, you dumb bastard." Only over the phone is Perez honest with Tom, when he is no longer needed:
1658378037310.png
"But when we fucked, I fucked for money, okay?"

Was it that hard to say, and could it have been said sooner? This comes off as cold on Perez's part. I understand Tom's character is one who cannot let go of an infatuation that he felt with someone like his late boywife, but at the same time Perez waiting this long to say this makes it feel as if he baited Tom along for the safety and care, which is obviously immoral.

Perez boards a plane and arrives in Detroit. His father hugs him, with Perez thinking about how "a life ended somewhere back there. Whatever follows is faint imitation."

The belief that a life, an identity can end when somewhere is left, when habits are changed does not erase what occurred, nor does it make those involved forget. A life never ended back there, instead Perez washes his hands of his past life without wanting to confront it, truly learn from it. This is obviously a terrible habit and does not allow for personal growth.

The only upside to this is the final page, where Perez realizes Michigan isn't as bad as he imagined it, in fact he feels at home.

Closing Thoughts

My closing thoughts on this comic are very much a "I read it so you don't have to”. The comic tries to be beautiful in its art, not in its story. This story, much like the others shared about individuals who have their own threads, are ones that we Kiwis could never have imagined if they didn't actually happen. These stories are trainwrecks that can only ever be written by individuals whose poor judgement and/or life decisions allow the world around them to write a horrible fate for them, and this story is nothing special. In fact, this story told by Perez goes so out in pity for himself, but does not come off as likable to anyone who understands basic social conventions. Perez is a person who one would not want to root for - as he chose a life of prostitution, one where he probably scarred a few relationships, gave false hope to people like Tom and could have went home at any time. He chose to stay, eat from the pantries that supported actual families, have a relationship with a woman WHILE also working as a hooker and refusing to acknowledge that it was not for the money - if was for the pure hedonistic pleasure we see him get in many of the panels where he is engaged in sexual acts. Slapping likable anthro characters from lovable IPs does not make this any more easier on the eyes or heart - in the end it is a self-righteous troon telling another troon their sob story and that troon working with what shit writing they had.

There's an unofficial epilogue to this story, but if it's anything like the one we just reviewed - it will just end up being self-serving garbage.

In fact - it is! It's just Perez as a movie star with Princess Carolyn (from Bojack Horseman) as her agent who sucks off a suit only to be pulled out and reviewed by Isabelle (Animal Crossing) and for some reason includes what appears to be fucking Raine Dog (Dana Simpson). In the middle of the interview, Perez appears to die, then instead be tripping on DMT, then it's all just a part of a film shot. It's an edgy coomer fantasy and nothing more.

My Final Rating:

Part 2 of 2

Now if you were able to survive Part 1, congratulations! You are now half-way though this book club's first meeting!
What I will now present is furry and troon based, much like the above review, but this one comes with a pleasant twist!
Thank you to @Slav Power for sharing this gem with the Kennel Club and assisting in its archiving. Not only am I sure you all will find this to be a palate cleanser, but also a (based) treat!
Allow me to present:

Corrosion

By GrimArt

1658705473352.png

Corrosion, as written and drawn by GrimArt, is a comic that goes against the grain of furry normalcy, being that it follows a Nidoking (Pokémon) named "TiNi" who it a top-class brawler whose mind gets corrupted by thoughts that the furry fandom (and many others) have lost so many to: troonism. Written in a way that loosely follows how the non-conformity of gender roles is often grouped in with transsexuality and a pressure to transition, this comic challenges the idea that gender non-conformists need to transition to feel complete. This story also touches on the MtF phenomena that results is the creation of trans widows, so the reality of this story is not completely out of reality. I daresay this was a rather enjoyable read (if you can get past all the porn that is inevitable in furry comics), and if you would like to give it a one-over, I highly recommend it. The source can be found on e621 which is totally a website to warn people about the dangerous food additive E621... A zipped archive of the comic will also be attached to this post.

This comic does not utilize chapters, so I will be breaking up this summary / review based on story progression.

  • Alpha male with wife and kid gets set on the path to troon out.
    • The Battlefield: Alphamale TiNi punches and fucks his way thru all challengers, absolute Chad in his gladiator realm.
    • Political Landscape: TiNi hates Psychic "mind-rapers", they only manipulate via their powers so they do not deserve to be in their society.
    • Relationships: TiNi has gay male friend Zen who can transform, he uses this to feel less lonely when missing his wife.
    • Cracks On The Surface: TiNi gets misgendered as female which he has fought all his life to correct - this makes him angery.
    • Mindfuck: TiNi literally gets psychically raped by a psychic opponent who should not have been there. Depression ensues.
    • Further Division: Psychic and Dark political Parties become more and more divided due to the happenings in "Mindfucked"
    • Seeds of Doubt: TiNi asks Zen to fuck him, which he confusedly enjoys. A group of AGP troons get in contact with and lovebomb TiNi, working on cracking his "egg".
    • Home Leave: TiNi leaves to go back home for a vacation to see his wife and daughter, all while the online troon group continue to get into his head. TiNi plays a female role in female clothes for his daughter's school play.
    • All In: TiNi tells his wife his desire to troon out. His wife, Maggie does not understand. TiNi threatens to take his daughter away from Maggie. Maggie does not allow this and kicks TiNi out.
    • Hugbox: The online troons reinforce how TiNi is in the right while one in the troon group tries to be the voice of reason.
    • Walls: Zen brings TiNi to a psychic who sees the damage done to TiNi in "Mindfucked" and TiNi does not trust this due to "transphobia".
    • Breaking Point: TiNi inserts himself into women-only spaces. Zen flees TiNi as he becomes more forceful with his troon way of life on all around him.
    • Salvation: TiNi goes to psychic therapist and allows her to treat him. TiNi realizes that just because he likes to do things that do no fit his "gender role" does not mean he needs to change himself physically (troon out) to match society's expectations.
    • Reconciliation: TiNi reconciles with Maggie and Zen, having come to his senses and mends the bridges he had broken with his descent into troondom.
    • Back On Track: All is well that ends well.

Scene Setting: The Battlefield

Our story here begins with our protagonist, TiNi the shiny Nidoking facing off against Bo Bo Bo the Bouffalant in what appears to be a gladiator-style fighting ring:
1658705493640.png
From this first page we can tell this is a televised Pokémon battle - run by Pokémon. In the next few pages, the battle between TiNi and Bo Bo Bo is put into context - Bo Bo Bo looks to dethrone TiNi's winning streak and charges at him when the battle begins. TiNi, with ease grabs the horns of Bo Bo Bo while telling him he is too predictable, then proceeds to lift and swing his buffalo-like opponent into the wall in such a way that his horns get stuck.
Bo Bo Bo, though stuck in the wall, refuses to give up. TiNi teases his stuck opponent and sits on him for ten seconds as to win the match.
In the advent of the win, a Chatot who is an announcer for the match tells a TV audience that this is TiNi's 539th win. The camera-cacturne turns off the feed for the "aftergame":
1658705527514.png

What I do have to say so far about the visuals of this comic thus far is the style is much more colorful than "The Pervert", with the digital painting and shading already bringing in more color than the aforementioned comic. Also, the characters already shown and the roles they play in this world are much more enjoyable in the way that it makes sense - much like watching any Pokémon-themed film, there is enjoyment seeing Pokémon fitting in with what they were designed for. This is a welcome change compared to "The Pervert" - where only certain characters were anthropomorphized based on importance to the story.

This is where the comic does get both slightly dark and fan-servicey though, as TiNi asks Bo Bo Bo if this is his first time. On the next page, we learn what that means: the victor in a fight gets to sexually dominate their opponent. Now, there are no tags for the word "rape" in this section, so the closest thing I can chalk this up to would be to show dominance via same sex behavior, but that is not the main point of the comic. TiNi proceeds to penetrate his opponent who is still stuck in the wall, who never objected, but just wanted the experience over with. Fans watch and lament about how if they were allowed to have their cellphones, they would film the scene. TiNi finishes his use of Bo Bo Bo, then opts to go to a post-match interview.

Scene Setting: Political Landscape

TiNi is seated with the same Chatot who then goes over TiNi's opinions on the "Psychic Party" - The majority grouping of Psychic Pokémon who are banned from fighting outside their own type. The other side of the Psychic Party is the Dark Party, Pokémon immune to the effects and suggestions of Psychic types. Chatot explains to the viewers that the country is split equally in the number of supporters for each party. TiNi fully supports the Dark Party, "Can't trust those mind-raping freaks." His views are strong and polarizing:
1658705553636.png

Scene Setting: Relationships

After finishing up the interview, TiNi retires to his quarters where we are introduced to Zen, a male Zoroark.
Zen tells TiNi his match was lame, as it was barely a minute long. Zen then asks his Nidoking friend if he needs to be patched up, which TiNi appreciates the concern for, but has no need. Both retire to the shower where Zen helps TiNi wash off his war paint, they discuss how TiNi's next opponent is a champion from the other side of the world - TiNi believes he will win.
After cleaning up - Zen asks TiNi if he is "in the mood" to which he replies, "I miss her so much." Zen uses his ability to Illusion himself as a Nidoqueen - a spitting image of TiNi's wife, "Maggie":
1658705578332.png
TiNi becomes intimate with Zen's illusion of Maggie, who Zen refers to as "Pearl" while in that form. TiNi tells him that he is the only one who he lets call him that. Zen illusioned as Maggie remarks that he thinks it's funny that TiNi's parents named him Pearl, since the believed he was a female Nidoran due to his colors.
This detail - how TiNi is colored female-like colors even though he is a male is one detail I can only appreciate the second time reading this comic. Keep this in mind, first-timers.
TiNi penetrates the illusion of Maggie and post-coitus, rolls off of Zen who could not breathe with TiNi on him. Zen de-illusions and remarks that he is going to be bow-legged forever due to TiNi's high libido. TiNi thanks Zen for the service he offers, telling him "Without her, I think I would go insane. You know how my species gets." Zen replies that he is glad he makes TiNi happy, it's all he wants.
1658705602868.png

To critique the art of this comic - lack of heavy draw lines that have been replaced with strong colors to keep the borders in check are stunning and something different than most pieces of art in the fandom, making this style unique and recognizable. This is a breath of fresh air compared to The Pervert, whose water paint over drawn lines and lack of diverse colors make it feel bland. Additionally, even though the story is just beginning - I have a solid idea of how this world works, based on the writing and context provided. The concepts of this world are somewhat spoon-fed to the reader.

Cracks On The Surface

The match between TiNi and the champion gladiator from the other side of the world has come - the opponent is a Garchomp named Levikhinsky who immediately upsets TiNi by mistaking him for a Nidoqueen (female):
1658705624349.png
The match starts. TiNi asks his opponent why he has not attacked, only to be met with a literal quick attack that lands on TiNi's face, catching him off guard. TiNi flies back, only to open his eyes with enough time to dodge his foe's attack, which breaks the wall. For the next 15 minutes the fight, each beating the ever-loving-shit out of each other until Levikhinsky gets atop TiNi, remarking that if he is the strongest, the Pokémon in his country must be very weak. As he gets atop TiNi, he whispers to him, "I'll show you what it feels like to be a girl since you like looking like a Nidoqueen so much."
TiNi gains second wind with rage at this, spines on his back protruding and penetrating his foe at six different points along his torso. TiNi, now blind with rage, yells that he is a Nidoking before jumping up with his stuck opponent, landing on him and continues his assault afterwards. TiNi sits atop his opponent and continues to beat him until the count to ten ends. Zen, watching from a tablet in TiNi's quarters appears dismayed at the violence. As the live feed cuts, fans debate over his rage, one finding it cute while the other finds it scary.
Still seeing red, TiNi stands mincingly over his fallen foe when we see Zen, illusioned as Maggie, call to the raging Nidoking. TiNi threatens his downed combatant, but Zen calls again to TiNi as Maggie, and gets TiNi to forget his fallen foe. The announcer Chatot tells the crowd it is said that only a Nidoqueen can calm a raging Nidoking. Zen asks TiNi if he is done, to which he hugs the illusion of his wife and replies in the positive:
1658705644266.png
The scene then shifts to Zen and TiNi in the shower in their quarters. Zen tells TiNi that since he did not penetrate his opponent, the fans were not impressed. Zen then offers his service to TiNi should he still feel the need to get sexual relief. Zen gets on his knees in preparation for oral sex, but TiNi tells him that he will not let Zen preform sexual acts on him unless he is illusioned as Maggie, and even then Maggie does not like to perform oral sex. Zen then tells TiNi he wishes that he would be allowed to be himself sometimes, to which TiNi tells Zen that the arrangement they have is clear - Zen is there because he needs Maggie, he is married and devoted to her, and not to get his roles confused.
1658705711520.png

A rather interesting direction for this to take - TiNi needing his wife to bring him peace but her not being able to be with him due to distance. Quite the mental gymnastics for one to take - having sex with a man pretending to be your wife, but since this is based on a fantasy world I will not dig into it too much. Make note of it though, as Zen's purpose in this comic is not one that is purely for sexual relief.

Mindfuck

The next chain of events start when TiNi steps into the ring, expecting Ali Wild, only to find that is not his opponent, but instead a (male?) Beheeyem, a Psychic-type Pokémon. TiNi asks why the Psychic is there - only for the mysterious challenger to tell him that he is a replacement. TiNi remarks that Psychics are not allowed in this fight, and to get the fuck out. While being boo'ed by the crowd, the Psychic laments that TiNi is afraid he will lose to him, since his type is weak to Psychics. The unpopular challenger tells TiNi it is possible to break free, only for a male Gothorita to materialize in front of TiNi. The menacing foe tells TiNi that he was always there, TiNi then does not remember asking out loud, the Psychic telling him he is not remembering properly.
1658705736773.png
Paralyzed by the Psychic influence of Beheeyem, TiNi asks why he cannot move and why the Gothorita is now brandishing his erect male genitalia. Beheeyem tells TiNi that he is full of hot air, that he is weak to Psychic types, and that he has lost. TiNi is the sodomized by the Gothorita while Beheeyem tells him that the reason he hates Psychics is because he is both weak and afraid of them:
1658705765628.png
Remembering back to page 10, this is assumed to have hit TiNi like a ton of bricks - his fears confirmed that his physical strength was unable to stop a Psychic opponent. Having been lost and humiliated in a way he sees as unfair and cheating would only cement his opinions on Psychic types.

Just as all seems to be coming down - it was TiNi just having his mind fucked with. Having realized this and rising from his bowing position, the Psychic opponent leaves. The non-Dark spectators of the event saw TiNi bow and receive anal penetration and believe it was a fair match. The Dark-type spectators who were not influenced by the Psychic-type's manipulation ask those talking about TiNi losing what the hell they saw - to them nothing happened.
1658705800096.png
1658705811429.png
Zen goes to see to TiNi as soon as he enters his quarters, TiNi seeming to having taken a fatalist approach to what had just happened believing an exception was made to allow the fight to proceed. As Zen tries to talk sense into TiNi that he was manipulated, TiNi resigns that it was due to his weakness. When mentioning the Gothorita, Zen has no idea what it is about, not having fallen for the manipulation. Depressed by the loss and having explained to Zen what happened with the Gothorita, Zen again tells him that he was never penetrated. TiNi still believes the illusion put on by the Beheeyem and elects to just have Zen illusion as Maggie, just to cuddle.

Further Division

The comic shifts to the energetic Chatot, explaining to a news-watching audience that it is highly believed that the Beheeyem illegally manipulated those around it in order to gain access to TiNi. In consequence, new rules have been devised to prevent another incident from happening again, with the Psychic and Dark Parties being further divided due to their greatly opposing viewpoints on the incident and those involved. Tensions rise:
1658705857142.png

Seeds of Doubt

The next fighting matches TiNi is involved in go on without a hitch - or so it seems. As strong as he was, he appears to have become more apathetic. Having defeated a challenger Sceptile, he now sees the act of sodomizing his defeated foe as a chore - something no longer enjoyed. While the losing Sceptile enjoys the act of TiNi penetrating him, TiNi himself does not ejaculate like he once would - disappointing his fans.
Zen, watching a news feed about how TiNi is losing his touch, is asked by TiNi to stop watching when he enters. Zen, concerned for TiNi due to his change in behavior, asks why he seems so off. Something does not sit right with TiNi. Zen offers his illusion services in hopes to better TiNi's mood. TiNi agrees, though requesting Zen take shape of a Garchomp. When Zen asks why, TiNi tells him to forget about it. Zen continues his line of questioning, only for TiNi to reveal that he wants to know what it is like to be on the receiving end of anal penetration. Zen complies with TiNi's request.
1658705879076.png
When asked by the illusioned Garchomp how he wants it, TiNi quietly lies on his stomach. Zen, illusioned as the Garchomp, tells TiNi he will not make it painful, though he remains silent. Zen tries to handle this as carefully as he can as not to hurt his friend, but TiNi allows the intercourse to continue, appearing embarrassed. Afterwards, TiNi tells Zen he does not know how to feel about the fact he might be enjoying it.

I have noticed the second time around that TiNi shows no signs of arousal during the time he is on the receiving end of anal sex for the first time in reality. Of course, the Mindfuck section could very much have to do with TiNi having residual manipulated thoughts, but at the same time he also may be trying to conform to his color, which appears to be female. Kiwis well acquainted with any of the troon pipelines can guess how this might play out in the future.

A few days later, Zen and TiNi are getting ready for the next set of matches. TiNi asks Zen if he looks good while applying his warpaint, Zen replies in the positive. TiNi is shown dominating his opponents in a non-sexual manner, looking apathetic. After the matches and while walking back to his quarters he is approached by three fans, reminiscent of a Teen-Troon squad:
1658705915643.png
The trio of troons flock around TiNi, telling him that the fight and subsequent sexual domination of Mienshao was good - mainly because his dominated foe is "such a trap." TiNi, unfamiliar with the term, asks them what it is - to which they gladly define it as a femboy dressing up as a girl. Intrigued by one of the trio explaining that "sometimes they're girls stuck in boy bodies" - TiNi asks if he is one. Zen, only now arriving to the conversation hears the Purrloin tell TiNi nothing is stopping him from being a girl. Zen, in a based manner, tells the troon TiNi is a Nidoking and to leave him alone, The trio of troons go nuclear on him:
1658705965849.png
"You're just an egg waiting to hatch, sweety! The beautiful blue body totally reminds me of a Nidoqueen - and if that's what you wanna identify as, don't let anyone stop you!" the troon-Umbreon tells TiNi. While the trio part ways calling Zen hateful, one of the troons gives TiNi the name of an online group to join. TiNi asks Zen, "What if they're right? What if I am a girl?" Zen brushes this off, telling TiNi that he has fought his lifetime to knock that shitty joke about him being a girl due to his appearance.

The nuances of troon-talk really start to shine from here on out.
In their room TiNi asks Zen for tonight, he wants to be illusioned to have a "pussy". TiNi shuts down any questions by telling Zen that he knows how that sounds, but he might like it. Zen sharply tells TiNi that he knows he is gay, and that "...you're telling me, a gay person, that I don't know that I don't like pussy until I try it." TiNi goes to bed and turns his back to Zen, telling him he could have denied without the patronizing - adding that he does not need that attitude from someone paid to do this. Zen, speaking from a place of concern, rationalizes with TiNi, telling him that even though he is paid to do this job it does not mean he doesn't want to see TiNi happy. Zen wants to be happy too - but it's hard to when he is very unhappy with what he is doing. TiNi still remains silent, back turned. Zen relents, "If it'll make you happy, I guess I'll do it."
Zen does as TiNi requested, illusioning him with female genitalia. Zen just wants to get it over with - TiNi told him he could be a little more cheerful. TiNi then tells Zen to transform into "something a little more girly to fuck me." "Whatever," Zen thinks "At least I won't have to see myself doing this as me", and illusions as a Salazzle. TiNi, satisfied with the situation tells the illusioned Zen he is ready with a smug look. Zen has trouble achieving an erection , and inserts himself into TiNi's anus illusioned as a vulva. TiNi tells Zen by name he is doing good, Zen is quietly upset he is using his name. The scene continues until TiNi climaxes. Zen mutters in disgust due to what he was made to do - additionally not achieving orgasm.

The turn in TiNi and Zen's relationship is predictable and on-course with the spiral of troonism - the cracking egg pressuring those around them to accommodate their "truth" when everyone around them knows it is a lie.

Home Leave

The time has come for TiNi to take his home leave as specified in his contract. While awaiting for the Corviknight Taxi, Zen asks TiNi who he is texting so much. "Just fans." Zen is glad to see TiNi interacting with his fans more, but mentions that if he teleported, the trip home would be faster. TiNi refuses - only Psychics can teleport more than themselves. TiNi departs. While en-route, TiNi is actually texting with the trio of troons via the online group they invited him to. The Umbreon posts a picture with makeup on, being praised by the rest as pretty - this makes TiNi think of how he likes his warpaint and now he wants to wear makeup too. TiNi looks over additional pictures in the group, the Purrloin is in a picture with its "girldick" out and the Umbreon in a skirt with a visible bulge in public - expressing "euphoria".

I absolutely love how accurately this describes troon chatrooms. If you don't believe me, go view the Tranny Sideshows on Social Media thread.

The last post TiNi views is from the Umbreon again - "Lesbians be hatin because they don't have a giant girldick. They can't satisfy other women... Honestly we're so much better than them." This causes TiNi to think back to what Zen said, "...you're telling me, a gay person, that I don't know that I don't like pussy until I try it." TiNi ponders this shortly before he reaches his destination.
TiNi walks into what we assume to be his home, as we are introduced to Alini, his Nidoran(F) daughter and Maggie, his Nidoqueen wife:
1658705990503.png

That's right folks, married with a kid. With troonism involved, I'm sure you can imagine how this plays out :stress:

The reunited family shares a moment together, then the scene shifts to display Alini in her own bed, with TiNi and Maggie in a different room, cuddling in their bed. Maggie asks if TiNi has seen the news - due to success in a recent experiment, Nidoqueens can now become pregnant - Maggie is now pregnant with TiNi's second child via in-vitro fertilization. This of course catches TiNi by surprise, but he tells Maggie this is great news. TiNi, thinking to himself, knows he is supposed to feel happy, but secretly feels upset - maybe it is because he won't be there to help raise the kid. TiNi wishes he could be more involved.
The next day, Alini comes home from school to report that "Mother Nido" for her school play got sick and needs to be replaced - offering her father the role. Maggie states that she should not bother her father with such things, after all she is a Nidoqueen - but TiNi happily accepts, wanting to be more involved in his daughter's life. TiNi is given a script and the costume, which - go figure, is a purple dress.

Insert obligatory "Dress go spinny" troon-meme here:

1658706013051.png
While helping her husband in preparing for the play, Maggie shows TiNi how to move and act more "feminine" which he tells her is very insightful, to say the least. He looks down at himself - he feels cute. Later, Maggie goes to ask TiNi something while he is studying the script in their room, only to find him still wearing the dress. TiNi removes the dress, and Maggie propositions him for intimacy. TiNi is apprehensive, saying he doesn't want to hurt the egg inside Maggie, but secretly thinks to himself he simply does not want to be intimate with her right now. Maggie presses, reassuring him she and her egg will be fine, but TiNi lies, saying he does not want to risk it. Later that evening, Maggie observes TiNi putting Alini to bed with a bedtime story and tucking her in, which Maggie finds heartwarming.
At school, the day of the play has arrived. TiNi in costume backstage is told by a Snubbull that it is cute for a father to take an active role in their child's life. The play starts, with he, his daughter and her classmates performing. While performing as a startled woman, he thinks to himself - this feels right:
1658706050495.png
TiNi thinks to talk to Maggie about how he feels. The play is a success, with Maggie praising her daughter for being a star and TiNi for his acting as a mother character - so much so that if he acted too well he could be called "mom". TiNi tells her he would like to talk when they are home.

This comic is painting a pipeline that I have rarely observed in MtF troons - trooning out to be more involved in their children's lives. This if course with near all documented cases of a father trooning out, the mother and children become distant, usually due to the father starting "anew". Of the father-troons who do stay with the mother and child - it is usually due to the mother doing so out of fear of losing her child or the child growing up with only one parent.

All In

TiNi, off-page tells Maggie how he's always been, just not realizing it before - there was a reason he was born blue (Nidoking are typically purple). Maggie tells him that (he is blue) because he is shiny - he does not even have a vagina. TiNi tells his wife the reason he likes to receive anal sex is due to just missing certain parts - he was born in the wrong body. Maggie is highly skeptical of TiNi's plan of dressing up and having everyone call him a girl. TiNi sees no issue with it. Maggie tells him that it isn't him - plus her clothes do not fit him, they could not afford a new wardrobe for him. TiNi tells her he is the breadwinner - his money, his choice. He goes on about how he will also buy himself lots of "pampering" since a repressed girl like him deserves it. Maggie tells him he has gone mad - what changed? TiNi replies, "If I'd been told sooner that it's OK to be a girl, that being bullied for it is wrong, then I wouldn't have so many problems. If I became a girl, the negativity I feel toward myself will go away because it's who I really am."
This comes as a surprise to Maggie - what problems? They are a family, they've been happy together. TiNi tells his wife that she does not get to tell him how to feel, she has FORCED him to be the male provider and what if he wanted to be the mother? Maggie answers with reason; TiNi was the one who wanted kids, she evolved because HE got her pregnant and why does being a mother matter to him when they both take care of their daughter. It turns out, Alini was asking her mother "weird questions" to which TiNi tells his wife, "they have a right to know that they can choose who or what they want to be." Maggie becomes occupied with the idea that she and Alini have always loved TiNi as the father. TiNi scornfully tells Maggie it was never who he really was, or wanted to be for that matter. "Then it was all a lie?" asks Maggie, to which the Nidoking replies that not everything is about her. Maggie isn't trying to make it all about her. Selfishly, TiNi tells her that if she doesn't like it - he can leave and take his money with him. TiNi would start anew somewhere else if Maggie does not agree, plus his friends truly understand him, even telling him to cut out of his life anyone who tells him he cannot be who he thinks he is. Maggie is not an exception. Maggie still does not understand, but TiNi takes no time in mentioning their daughter would be better off with him. Before TiNi can take Alini, Maggie slams him away from her:
1658706073654.png
Just as TiNi gets up to ask who she thinks she is, she slams him a second time, this time through the door and outside. TiNi leaves without further conflict, or anything said other than "... Fine."

The manipulation tactics used by TiNi in this situation is every mother's worst nightmare. All too often have situations been displayed here of real people - real men leaving families behind with all the resources they owned to live a lie, all without concern for the people that depended on them. It is a situation which is unfortunately not as uncommon as it sounds - see transwidowsvoices.org

Hugbox

Having holed up in a hotel for the remainder of his leave, TiNi posts about his situation to his online troon hugbox - where the young AGP-type troons tell him that his wife never loved him, that she did not deserve his money and that her life deserves to be ruined. One voice in the group who dissents is drowned out, while TiNi laments he cannot believe it took him this long to see things for what they "really are."

Sound familiar? Additionally, we are treated to a very tasteful depiction of what SRS/GRS is treated like in MtF troon culture:
1658706096606.png
A

One in the online troon group got am-hole'd Penile Inversion SRS. The dissenting voice tells the sharer that the victim receiver of the genital butchering SRS said they are not feeling good with the results - this is dismissed as phobic. The other group members praise TiNi for his "girldick" while also discussing SRS and how every patient undergoing it is pleased with it, and they should do it too. The dissenter tells the group they should not jump into major surgery so quickly, that there are days where they are unsure of it because there are days they din't feel as shitty. This is of course shut down as an example that the dissenter is not as committed as everyone else.
TiNi thinks that everything his "friends" have told him about are coming true. Suddenly, he gets a direct message from the dissenter - saying the user who was shutting them down is acting shitty. When asked by TiNi why they are messaging him, they reply it is because they see him as a more relaxed person compared to the other users. TiNi believes those are his friends, the dissenter explains they have been watching TiNi become less and less happy, and they believe it is due to the troon group as they have been feeling the same way too. The dissenter explains to TiNi that they just want to be happy in life but do not feel comfortable with themselves, not chase AGP-esque fantasies. TiNi says he feels the same way. He's told he does not need to listen to those people - maybe they both would be happy if they stopped listening to the group.

Walls

The next scene shows TiNi back in the ring, as victorious as ever. When the cameras cut for the victor to take his sexual claim, TiNi surprises his foe and the crowd by masturbating his foe, revealing a vagina where his male genitals once were. Zen is showing concentrating on TiNi, providing the illusion that he has female genitals, when in reality he is on the receiving end of anal sex. The defeated foe was not expecting this, but TiNi reminds them of the contract they signed - they accept to be dominated if they lose. He mocks his opponent, having been beaten by "a girl." Fans discuss the illusion, not sure if he got the chop or not. Back in their quarters, Zen tells TiNi he no longer wants to cast illusions on him. When asked if something is bothering him, Zen replies by telling TiNi dead-on that, "you are not you and it's making me very unhappy." Because of this, Zen recommends TiNi see a Psychic for help like he has. TiNi does not trust it.
The Zoroark urges his friend to trust who he sees for help, as she has been going against the grain of her Party by publishing articles about said Party's shenanigans - due to this though she is often shut-out of the mainstream. TiNi thinks back to his private conversation with the dissenter, and agrees, only for this Psychic to be a female Beheeyem (named Nonspon) - TiNi reacts as well as one would expect.
Earlier on in the week when Zen went to see Nonspon and talked about TiNi and their situation, Nonspon goes into specifics about how this could either be an aggressive mental illness, brain trauma or psychic mind-alteration. Detailed science and lore are provided about how Beheeyem can change minds - something Nonspon wants to try to correct. When offered a free psychic mental health check, TiNi refuses, only for Zen to be the voice of reason and convince TiNi to follow through. TiNi relents to Zen's request. The check is performed:
1658706118033.png
Nonspon finds that a few of TiNi's memories have been altered, and there is also evidence of heavy suggestion. TiNi rejects this diagnosis, falling into the excuse that everyone around him wants to make him fit into a normal role. TiNi storms off. Zen asks Nonspon after TiNi departs if he can even make decisions for himself having been mentally altered - Nonspon cannot answer that question. Zen tells her not to take it personally, Nonspon responds about the complexities of politics, that her research is silenced due to not fitting her party's narrative.

Breaking Point

Not having had enough of being treated how he sees fit, TiNi now wants to be in the female division of battling. This causes controversy, as expected:
1658706172393.png
Because it is never enough for troons - TiNi crashes a maternal Nidoqueen support group as is reported on in the news. It is commented on by the reporting Chatot that TiNi's popularity plummets as he alienates more people with his actions and comments.
TiNi appears back in his quarters with Zen. When Zen asks about Maggie and comments that he has not seen mail from her in awhile, TiNi comments on his recent matches - he has been tossing them. TiNi explains further that he is not reading his wife's letters, much to Zen's dismay. Zen tells TiNi that he really liked writing to Maggie as she was always nice. TiNi brushes off Zen's comments by saying that he never saw how she treated him. Burying his face in his claws, Zen just wishes TiNi could be happy. TiNi tells Zen he IS happy, only for Zen to tell TiNi that if that is true, why is he not happy? Zen, talking to himself, says he does not know he is doing wrong, and with that reveals to TiNi that he is going to take a long vacation back to the Zoroarks (:story: my favorite fucking line) TiNi tells Zen he can't go, and grips his arm, saying he hates the true him. "You think it's hateful because now you hate the truth!" Zen yells as he tries to get away from TiNi, who is beginning to crush his arm. Realizing the predicament he is in, Zen shifts tune and whispers sweet nothings into TiNi's ear - saying he will stay, implying he will satisfy TiNi all while apologizing profusely. TiNi apologizes for his reaction, only to say Zen didn't seem to understand. Having been let go of, Zen creates an illusion of himself and slips away with the promise of sex, only for the illusion to fade, the real Zen having fled:
1658706192361.png
Realizing he was outfoxed, TiNi realizes in rage what happened, only to feel regretful as to why it happened. TiNi now realizes something is wrong with him, it doesn't feel right - he has never had this big an issue with Zen before. TiNi stays holed up in his room for a few days only to be told he needs to prepare for his next match. TiNi lies about feeling ill when an organizer is at the door. When he goes back, he sees on his phone he was removed from the troon support group. Additionally, he has been blocked by all members except from the dissenter, who we now confirm is a Kirlia, usernamed "dahealercreep". TiNi reaches out to DHC to ask why he has been cut off. DHC confirms they were removed too, most likely because their dedication to getting mutilated SRS was not blind and unconditional. TiNi confesses to DHC he needs help - his friend who's really close walked out on him due to his actions, and he does not feel good mentally. DHC offers up the solution of TiNi seeing a therapist, telling him that he should not bottle up his emotions, and sometimes friends are not enough to solve these complex issues. TiNi takes the advice to heart.

Zen's relationship with TiNi reminds me of what codependence was described to me as - Zen cared about and loved TiNi so much, even though what TiNi did to him make him unhappy, he still gave and gave and gave while all TiNi did was take. Like most codependents, he reached his limit of abuse, and could give no more. This is often hard for codependents to do with the person whose life they care so much for, I respect the writer for doing such a good job displaying what this might be like.

Salvation

TiNi finds himself with Nonspon, ready to let her do what needs to be done to begin the healing process. He doesn't want to know the details as to what happened or what she is doing, lest he change his mind. Nonspon does what needs to be done. Having had a revelation, TiNi requests time to think about what has been revealed to him. Nonspon tells him to come back when he is ready. TiNi has time to think about what is really important to him, who really makes him happy:
1658706210675.png
TiNi goes back to his room where he throws all his feminine clothes on the floor - it reminds him that someone who wasn't him was there, but yet only half-knew them. Looking at the dress he wore in Alini's school play, thinking Maggie would look good in it.
TiNi goes back to Nonspon, telling her that he no longer feels like he needs to be a girl anymore - but still has a want to wear dresses and use makeup. Nonspon then explains why this may be. Out of all the pages in this post, I will not summarize the following three pages. Please read them - it does a great job explaining a common perspective held by LGB and GNC individuals who stand against the current trend of trooning:

Having taken the lesson given to him by Nonspon, TiNi reaches out to DHC - wanting to meet them offline. Upon seeing the Kirlia, TiNi has flashbacks of the Gothorita that violated him, but this does not stop him from making friends with one which he once feared - a Psychic. Having taken a chance to trust in a Pokémon that can teleport him, DHC. upon request teleports TiNi back to his home where Maggie and Alini still reside.

Reconciliation

TiNi stands outside the home of his wife and daughter. Maggie comes to the window wanting to know why is is back. TiNi wants to apologize:
1658706318036.png
1658706332746.png
After having said his piece rather ineloquently but sincerely, Maggie cannot help but see her husband's pleas for forgiveness and want to keep his penis are sincere, hence the path of healing has been started between the two. Now in a position to be totally honest, Maggie tells her husband that she was afraid she was in the wrong, TiNi acknowledges he cannot change the past, but only try to make the future right. Maggie even offers to make TiNi dresses if he wants, though there is one other thing TiNi hopes to accomplish...
TiNi takes a break from his fighting career and even admits publicly that all Psychics are not bad and is being helped by one. Having planted the seeds of healing, he then reaches out to Zen to not only apologize for what he did, but how he treated their relationship. TiNi admits to Zen that he cannot envision himself in a mutual lover type relationship with him, and that he should find someone who will make Zen happy and give him the love he needs:
1658706353287.png
1658706370403.png
TiNi goes on to tell Zen he still wants to remain friends. Zen admits that when he fled from TiNi, he went to talk to Maggie. Maggie admitted to Zen that she would have been willing to live in silence for TiNi, letting him do what he wanted at the expense of her quality of life just for him. "He's the only one I'd be willing to grit my teeth and bear it all for."
Zen explains to TiNi love does not need to be strictly romantic or sexual, as it goes far beyond superficial attraction. Zen is happy to stay just as friends with TiNi, as long as that makes TiNi happy too. Zen wouldn't have cared if TiNi was a boy or girl, but the way he was acting wasn't the friend he knew. TiNi admits to seeing Nonspon and says some things will not be changed - he likes makeup but is still a dude. TiNi does his eyelids - Zen remarks it looks good and like warpaint.
The scene shifts back to the home of the reunited family, with Alini having put on an exuberant amount of makeup as young girls often do to experiment. TiNi recalls memories of when he was young, he hung out with girls and they put makeup on him, and he would do the same in turn. TiNi offers to help Alini with her makeup - only to remember to ask for permission from his wife, Maggie hesitantly allows him to, TiNi having offered to replace what he uses. TiNi does an exceptional job at putting makeup on his daughter, even impressing Maggie. TiNi then offers his daughter the chance to help him with his makeup. His daughter asks him if boys can wear makeup - he tells her they can and there is nothing wrong with that. Maggie, breathing a sigh of relief after Alini does TiNi's makeup to a somewhat comical degree, agrees with her husband that their daughter could have a career in cosmetics:

Back On Track

Having learned a costly but still valuable lesson about identity and the idea that his body does not need to change to reflect what society pigeonholes stereotypes into, TiNi returns to the ring - starting with a rematch with Bo Bo Bo. Bo Bo Bo banters with TiNi, asking if he still calls himself a girl. "Fuck you, I look awesome" TiNi replies in his warpaint. The comic ends as the two charge head-on.

Closing Thoughts

As someone with perspective in the LGB circle, this comic speaks truth to power in the fact that it highlights in all the right ways how individuals who do not conform to gender or may have LGB tendencies or attraction are now living in a culture where they are pressured to troon out just because they may fit into one or two minor stereotypes of the opposite gender.
I know the makeup of Animal Control, hence I know the makeup of Furries - a lot of you who don't have the wool pulled over your eyes understand why this comic was such a treat to read - it is something we can relate to, either directly or indirectly. The furry population has been heavily hit by the troon menace, so a lot of us have lost friends to transgenderism - I know I have.
Since there is a lot to work with here I will try to keep this brief.
This comic tells a story familiar to many who are familiar with troonspotting (Trans Social Media Sideshows), having lost a loved one to transgenderism or being around the fandom in general. Often whispered are horror stories of people changing personalities and loyalties overnight on a whim, all to chase something that will never be their reality. Taking TiNi to start as a regular alpha male, it's hard to see him trooning out before reaching "Mindfucked". While I only ever was into Pokémon in my childhood years and has since taken a back seat to everything else, I did quite enjoy the respect for the lore the creator has for the universe he bases his work off of. The Mindfucked chapter was a good tipping point, though unrelatable was a good vessel to get the action going. Once it did, the complexity of the relationships and the emotions commonly felt in these situations came to front in ways that do not seem unreal, but possible in a handful of situations like the one in this comic which is of course trooning out. Additionally, the relationship between Zen and TiNi was a nice touch, as it touched on the ability for two people in a one-sided situation to be set free yet still remain platonic. Maggie and Alini on the other hand share experiences much like those I mentioned of trans widowers - and I suppose why I sing the praises in this comic is because of how it ended. Don't get me wrong, TiNi could have ended up butchering himself then 41%ing and I would still find favor with the realistic portrayal. The fact that he was able to see that just because he looked feminine, wore makeup and enjoyed other such things not associated with his "gender role" and learned that he did not need to alter himself but accept himself really makes for a feel-good ending. TiNi being able to make up with those who mattered to him and de-transition is a nice fantasy to escape into since I know a lot of us know people who we wish would have such a revelation and go back to being the people we know and love.

My Final Rating: :winner:

All looks pretty gay to me.
Try finding a furry comic that isn't lol

lol, I found a thread like yours on /co/ today:

https://boards.4channel.org/co/thread/132005118, https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/132005118, https://archive.ph/6ajEr

Anyway, can we recommend you some more Furry literature and media for you to review? I have some suggestions, but I'll only present them when you consent to such.
Feel free to post them here and now! I'm in the midst of college but if they're interesting and I have the time I could plan for it - or someone else might beat me to it if they feel so inclined :)

@Roxanne Wolf,

I'm tossing you a book to review. It's the infamous The Furred Reich by none other than Casey Hoerth. The book is quite famous for its combination of fascism and human-anthro erotica. Don't let the novel form dissuade you from picking it for the thread, the author has kindly commissioned plenty of artwork from Russian artists that show off his fetish (because of course a neo-nazi wouldn't abide by their own principles). The book is about 200 pages long and best described as the ravings of a man who shouldn't be allowed near animals.

Casey already has a thread on the farms if you want to pull up any personal drama related to the author. KF Thread

Yeah the book is nonsense but compared to the Queer Muslim furry book this piece of work has aged like a fine wine. It also helps that the artist of said book is just a larper.

This is some high effort stuff, great work! Also a nice change from the degenerate hound pounders that make up like 80% of AC

A certified classic that we all love (to hate.)
I've never seen past page three of this and I plan to keep it that way
