Phil stuff aside, I can't get into this game. Sony tried with Playstation All-Stars, and there's been a few pretenders since, but something about all these Smash knock-offs doesn't give the same feeling when I see the original.

Treating Smash and any of its clones as anything more than party games with friends is stupid. They're fun to pick up and play once in a while, that's about it.

Imo, this is the closest we get to Smash without being Smash.

This game has a budget behind it, but also has attention to details which Sony's All-Stars lacked.
Also the biggest advantage over Smash is, it has good netcode, paired with crossplay and being free to play.
I can see this game being pretty successful and making WB a lot of money.

There definitely is a lot of potential considering all the stuff Warner has the rights to.
Aside from DC there is also the HBO and adult swim stuff, heck they are putting LeBron into the game tomorrow.

Edit: They also got the rights for Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter to name other possible big hitters

It's a common phrase you hear from gambling addicts. They could tell you how much they're down or up that day or that week but ask somebody for their lifetime total and at best you'll get a very rough estimate. Like if Phil were honest he could tell you how much he spent last night but ask him a total for 2022, hell even the last month he'd have no idea off the top of his head.
