I think plenty of corporate vtubers know of, and lurk in this thread. People often say (correctly) that this is the best place to discuss vtubers. I just think it's highly unlikely they have an account, the most we can hope for is they lurk here and occasionally laugh instead of outright hating us.

It really depends, it might be true that the discussion is solid here for it, but that's not the reputation that this place holds regardless.

Like back when I wandered into this thread many thousands of pages ago it wasn't because "this is the best place for vtuber discussion"

It was because I wanted roomate info and I figured the "evil doxxing website" was the best place to look.

So I wouldn't expect chuubas to be wandering in here because of the quality of discussion, the general public perception of the farms is still worse than 4chan.

That's like one of the most common things that goes on on 4chan in general, not just /vt/ people post on /a/ claiming to work for anime studios, people post on /v/ claiming to work for game companies. it's one of the oldest moves in the book.

In spite of the doomposting it was a successful debut. How the livers grow from here obviously remains to be seen - Luxiem had more growth than Noctyx despite having a much smaller debut audience - but that Niji EN has gone from having 13k ish debuts at the start to 70k+ debuts now is a pretty good testament to the growth of the branch.

Well I got home too late to watch all of the Niji debuts, so I didn't watch any.
From the sounds of this thread's reaction I'm not missing much (but still gonna sub them and watch if they're doing anything interesting, form my own opinions and all that).

Why do I sense an impeding doom? And why it becomes stronger with each debut? To be honest, I think Scarle will do alright, although her fanbase will be insufferable. I won't thirstpost, but I'd lie if I said her model isn't doing anything for me. She looks more like a gypsy to me, though. Not going to watch, but I wish her well. It's the "challenging gender norms" girl I'm wary of. The rest of them ranges from okay to meh, we'll see how they reinvent themselves in the first 3-4 weeks after debut.

I doubt that had much of an impact on these Twitter interactions. HoloEN (and Stars) and NijiEN continued to interact on Twitter after the leak. In this case I think the more prolific interactions are mostly just due to the two gens debuting in the same week and both containing fairly outgoing, nice individuals. I don't really expect that this frequency will continue now that all the debuts are over. Plus if Iluna does collab with Tempus that's just going to lead to a round of "Cover will let their guys collab but won't let Kiara collab" discourse. And the fact that the closest relationship is still that between Kiara and "All Out War" Pomu makes me think the leak didn't have a big role in anything behind the scenes - which makes sense, as Kiara implicitly called it a nothing burger.

I think it's more to do with the fact that they debuted at the same time and are equally as nervous.

I am personally of the mind that Tempus will be allowed to collab with Nijisanji because it's a different management team, though, and I also think Nijisanji will allow it to happen.
