the WWEC thing is interesting but we all know how it's going to end, same way they all end. Like a fart in the wind just each one of the snafus makes the piggy foundation a little weaker and to have Rob tell him to grow a pair, SBM giving him shit, the slave trade and oddly specific pedo jokes and even OIC claiming he has no idea what phil is rambling about with his 1 to 1 P2P connection is worse than 4 people in a P2P connection which is rollback's fault, in his prestream...thats a lot of farts in the wind for one week.

It's like he's desperately trying to get devs and publishers to notice him so he's shilling without shilling!? Like yes stray was a fun game but nothing like anything before, oddly I'm no king of retro or connoisseur of indie games like the piggy who like a year ago had to have his arm twisted to play hollow knight. The first game this reminded me of, in a good way, was ICO. Dude goes on like he's about to cry cause elden ring got more attention. Two completely different style of games but ok phil.

Another odd thing and at this point it really shouldn't fascinate me, but it does. Bitched that FF16 is going to take too long to make, bitched that Dying Light 2 took too long to make (thought he got the dates completely wrong) and the same with cuphead DLC. Loves stray, took like 7 to 8 years to make.

Who are you trying to convince the game is good or impress dave? If any dev wants to stay as far away from the pig stench it's a small indie studio.

Loves indies won't play hollow knight, stardew valley, ori 1 or 2, indivisible, skull girls, them fighting herds, celeste, untitled goose game, shovel knight, Death's Door and those are just high profile ones there's so many other smaller ones he'll never touch but no he LOVES indie games. UGG was a special one cause he sperged out with a tantrum SO HARD to not play that after conning a dent.

Then the multiversus thing, it's so odd, he's acting like he's some special boy cause he got into the early access beta, a beta with iirc max showed a steam chart with 40k people on PC alone. Oooh phil you're so special, but where you in the secret tech alpha and then every test since?

Tries to be all informative cause he's a special boy who was invited to this closed beta. Gets confused by menus. Doesn't know how the premium season pass works, claims you have to play a lot to get the premium one. Doesn't know that the open beta is basically the release there's no more resets, the open beta will go into the RC build which using context clue will probably be on the week of august 8th.

Claims it's not competitive, the literal major thing that this game got attention for was WB putting up the biggest prize pool ever for a fighting game tournament with the catch that it's 2v2. IIRC if you placed in either the top 32 or 16you at least covered your expenses. It was huge at the time since a lot of pros were talking about how in person tournaments were great but the wins barely covered the cost of going. IIRC this was after one of the first post covid tournaments that had issues with pay outs being so small.

DSP perception of reality vs reality is just....fascinating.

I really feel like I am watching a man's entire internet presence, reputation, source of income and livelihood being slowly chipped away at little by little. The more the curtains are pulled back the more you see that the absolute lowest and worst estimates made by detractors are the correct ones. If there is one more thing I'd like to add to this right now is how truly impressive it was to observe for how long he could keep it up. It is kinda astonishing how far a bit of youtube fame and gaming success can take ya. Phil is still riding off his initial fame boom, although the ship is more of a wreck right now. I think it's also impressive how a part of me can still think of hypothetical scenarios where he could turn this slowly decaying disaster into a win, but it's mostly copium since it all hinges on him changing for better

Honestly that's the only way he's going to change.

Divorce is going to mean nothing to him. He married Kat purely out of a need to one-up Leanna, because she showed him up and that dealt a blow to his ego he absolutely was not prepared for.

And losing the Gout Fort...we know how much he hates interacting with people, that gated community is his literal protection against society showing up to his doorstep unannounced, or moreover people potentially breaking in or vandalizing his property. His almost literal hermitage is what allows him to be such an anti-human asshole, nobody can tell him the rules there. Him losing the house would be a crisis for sure, but it would result in an immediate need for money which given his bankruptcy is not going to be easy to get to fund another house.

Unless, of course, he cuts off WWE.

I don't hate the whales. I don't hate OIC or anyone else. I just feel that if they are going to throw money away that Phil shouldn't be the target and there are better charities or even other streamers who could use that money to really survive versus someone who verbally abuses them while still begging them for money to "keep a roof over his head" regardless that we have proven how much he makes and where his money is going.

I don't put a lot of emotion into being a detractor or troll. It's more of a time killer for me but yeah I'm tired of him scamming people who are genuinely just trying to be a nice/good person.

His day will come for sure...maybe not today or tomorrow (or this year) but it's coming.

I would laugh my ass off if Phil got divorced and had to sell the condo or something. I dont expect it. It was surreal. Out of this world. Fever dream ish. Probably the best experience I've had with both of these dudes in a while. It was like a brand new way to watch Phil. It was interesting watching dents I were sure were unironic fans of Phil show up and dog on him. The opposite, some I had always figured were ironic fans outed them selves as such. It was truly wild to watch. When Richard tuned into kingcobrajfs I fucking lost my mind.

Keem was right. Package any 3 lolcowz together and the cash will flow. It was genuinely an interesting spectacle to absorb. The overlap in audience, a bunch of broke flawed humans giving each other advice. It's hilarious. Wings shouldn't lecture anyone on anything.
