You can always tell that someone has never known legitimate hunger or gone completely without food before when they act like this.

(I can't remember how to spoiler on mobile)
PL but my ex acted like his life & childhood was soooo abusive and rough but would tell me shit like "you can't eat JUST mac&cheese for dinner you HAVE to have sides" when we had no money. If i can make enough cheap mac&cheese to fill my stomach then that is a meal, damnit. He also acted like everything had to have a meat with it. Even fucking spaghetti apparently HAS to have some kind of bread side for this asshole. He shared Polissa's obsession with soda, too. God forbid he have to drink water(even with flavor) instead of going to the store. Sorry for ranting. He was infuriating.

Eta and now i saw the fb post about Bella being hit with a bat possibly giving her long term issues and Polissa STILL making herself the fucking victim omfg .....I don't know if any cow has actually made me this angry before.
I drunkenly deleted my post about soboro Don so I'm gonna post another recipe because shit's delicious and doesn't require expensive ingredients. https://www.justonecookbook.com/tori-soboro-donburi/

Also the best spaghetti ever is aglio olio e peperoncino. its incredibly cheap, insanely filling and delicious if you get the technique right and add a decent amount of cheese

It's baffling because she acts like a rich person who suddenly lost their money, rather than someone who has experienced true poverty. She doesn't know how to stretch the bunch of food she gets from fire fighter brother to make it last more than a day or so, gets $45 from aunt and goes to Applebee's for her and Josh to have one meal a piece, rather than go to the grocery store and buy beans, rice, ramen, canned veggies and maybe a bag of potatoes so they're guaranteed food for at least a couple of weeks. True hungry people would not even think of new kimonos- they'd want the money for food.

She seems like an intellectually challenged sociopath who takes advantage of others and lies to get what she wants- but is stupid enough to show off how financially illiterate she really is. Is she delusional to think people will actually think a kimono is a necessity for a hysterectomy, or is she intellectually challenged to the point where she saw a picture of someone recovering from surgery in a kimono and now really thinks it's a necessity?

This woman fascinates me because her behaviours are just so bizarre

The Bella thing pisses me off so bad. She didn’t take her injured dog to the vet? Fucking cunt. #justiceforbella

Friend bought more stuff off the list:

So I did a little dive on Polissa's FB and found some interesting things. Spoiler because it's a bit long.
Let's get the worst of it out of the way. The Bella story is worse than we thought. Polissa was saying in 2019 that she was afraid Bella would never be okay because she was hit in the head with a baseball bat in 2012. And apparently she was right there when it happened because she'll "never forget the sound". That dog suffered for 10 years, probably without ever seeing a legitimate veterinarian.
"I feel like I'm failing my baby."

Yeah, well, you did fail her, by not getting her seen by a vet, and by deciding that she needed to die over an ear infection. I can think of at least one med (and a cheap one, at that!) that might have helped turn her anxiety down enough to make her less reactive, and stopped her from gnawing on herself. But she never even got a chance to try it because Polissa's a shitty pet owner.

Her and Josh both suck at math, maybe that's why they think they need $40 to buy olives, lettuce, and sausage.
I find it hilarious how she keeps presenting herself as so smart—so much smarter than people around her—only to post stuff like this. And she blames her high school for her unfitness for college. Yeah, keep telling yourself that, Polissa.

College would have been completely wasted on her, so honestly, it's a good thing she didn't get suckered into racking up student loan debt.

She was bothered for weeks that someone laughed at her dreams and ambitions. They are stupid dreams, though.
"I recently had somebody laugh at my dreams and ambitions in life...they seriously laughed at me like I was stupid for my dream..."

Well, if your dream is to make a living from your art, then yeah, that's pretty fucking funny, and you're pretty fucking stupid.

"News flash, I'm not stupid, I'm a dreamer."

Oh, is that what they're calling lazy, entitled people now?

"Dreamers make this world."

LOL, NO. Or, rather, they only do so when they do the hard work of bringing the dream into reality. Otherwise it just remains in the realm of idle fantasy, or mental masturbation.

Sitting on your ass and dreaming about what could be, while whining about how haaaard everything is, and the unfairness of all the apparent obstacles in your way, will get you nowhere. The only world it will make is one of misery and disappointment for you.

And here's the cruel truth: some dreams can't be made reality, no matter how hard you work. I've seen countless artists and writers in my life who actually do the work in pursuit of their dream—and it still falls flat because their best will never be good enough. They just don't have what it takes to find buyers for their art, or publishers for their manuscripts. And Polissa, even if she did the work, would still be one of them.

According to her, by posting "the same distressed post over and over" she's just asking for support. "I don't expect anyone to swoop in like a knight in shining armor coming [to] save me." She's obviously had quite the change of heart since. "No help has come."
She doesn't get that other people burn out quickly when you keep posting the same distress calls over and over again. She is seeking attention and asking for pity, despite her claims otherwise; she wants others to provide her with emotional comfort, and yes, material help. But nothing changes despite her getting these—she's a bottomless pit of need. And since people want their caring to make a difference, they're going to give up offering it when it doesn't.

In 2019 she swore off psychiatric medication, calling them "creativity killing pills" and "emotion numbing pills". Just today she said without her medication she'd cry 20 times a day.
LOL @ "creativity killing pills"—she has no creativity to kill.

Josh bought her a makeup pallet from Hot Topic and Polissa couldn't understand why what she received was "no better than toy makeup".
The makeup didn't have to be good. It's Disney-branded, which is the entire selling point; it's for adult consoomers who wet themselves over any new kind of Disneyshit, or kids, who don't know better.

actually, that can happen. I'm allergic to most healthy things like fruits or vegetables if they're not cooked first. Now I don't think that's a common thing and I doubt she has it. It'd be weird if she did because I've never heard of anyone else with it.
I briefly worked with a fat, plug-ugly little gendergoblin who loved to talk at length about her polycule of other hideous gendergoblins, and the sex dungeon they were building in the basement of the rotting, squalid troonshack of a house they shared. She expected everybody to find this fascinating. If you shut that line of talk down, she'd instead say all kinds of bizarre things about herself (her fave topic of conversation) just to get attention.

One of the things she said was that she was allergic to all fruits and vegetables unless they were cooked—which I dismissed as another of her bullshit attempts to be unique. But she brought it up several times, so I googled to see if such a thing was a real—and holy fuck, it is.

So there you have it; another human with Oral Sensitivity Syndrome. Sorry it happens to be a repulsive she-troon who is fat and you would not have sex with.

She reminds me a little of ShannyforChrist and her "husband" (read: boyfriend) Rev, after they blew ~700k of Rev's inheritance in 3 years, the way she acts about food/'I have no food'. (Actual quote from Shanny at one point: "peasants drink water.")

Polissa, on the other hand, I'm assuming was coddled and babied, and feels like she's owed stuff just for existing. That's what it seems like to me.

A good flea/tick treatment, that you'd have to give monthly or whatever, is expensive, silly @toilet_rainbow . The ones that actually work, at least up here in leafland, require a vet visit/prescription, and we all know that ain't happening.

I'll admit, I did think of my own dog's prescription flea/tick medicine when I went "why not that." How bougie of me! At least that price is for a six month supply, eep.

One of my favorite Political Polissa moments is when she said that Americans work harder than Medieval peasants. It's especially funny since this woman hasn't worked since 2008, and she just wants to play overseer as her man slaves work on the trailer hovel.

19 hours ago Josh admits they have taco shells and meat (and I'm assuming eggs, as he made a comment about breakfast burritos but no sausage). 13 hours ago, Polly begins her bitching about being so hungry she can't sleep and has a headache because she ate nothing.
Honestly, what does she expect her followers to think? People see that she has food, but either refusing to eat it or else gorging until it's gone and lying about how hungry she is cause her fat ass wants more.

The prescription flea/tick stuff is kind of a meme. You can use the typical OTC stuff for $10 along with Ultra Shield EX (which will kill goddamn near anything and also keep flying insects away) in combination with dusting your property with Sevin powder. Vets/animal good companies rip people off, like with flea wash. In reality the only thing you need is Dawn dish soap and a fine toothed comb.

Always gotten the prescription stuff for my zoo (my luck, the dog would react to the OTC stuff, the finicky bastard allergic to half of planet earth he is), though I'm with you on the flea wash/shampoo being a rip off

It’s the same with human lice. Lice shampoo doesn’t work anymore, but all you need to get rid of them is cheap conditioner and a lice comb (admittedly used repeatedly).

Maybe. I think the only benefit of prescription is the ability to also prevent heartworm though Ivermectin does just as good a job and also prevents skin parasites too. I know some people aren't comfortable measuring the dosages though but I also do all the immunizations/microchipping for our dogs so it's no problem for me.

This actually ties in to Polly's situation though she's too much of a retard to do it herself.

I also do her heart worm prevention meds around the same time each month, so it’s just become routine at this point. I could probably get her the OTC stuff but she’s getting older so it’s just easier to pick up during her biannual checkups.

It shows her priorities that it was more important for her to get Dobby a stroller and fake animal helper paraphernalia than actual pet care. In one of the pet wishlist items, she admits that she cuts Dobby’s quicks a lot by accident and needs powder to fix it. If Dobby walked on asphalt he would rarely need his quicks cut in the first place. His coat is also really dull. Is she feeding Dobby cat food?

Eh I'm not going to fault her for not the cement thing because It'll fuck up a dog's joints/cartilage especially if they're still developing or elderly. Most of the floors in my house are concrete except for the sun room and when I have puppies I have to set down slip-resistant kitchen mats so they develop properly. Ideally she'd be taking a grinder to the nails so cutting them isn't such a necessity but I'm guessing she's: Too lazy, the dog would likely freak the fuck out, or the smell would make her sick (grinding dog nails has got to be one of the worst smells of all time).

Also sorry for derailing the thread to sperg about dog shit :squirtle: It's what I do for a living so I feel obligated to throw my two cents in

You think Dobby gets walks? LMAO.

Hey, Polissa, if you ever read this: Cornstarch is a good substitute for both dry shampoo and styptic powder. You can get actual styptic powder cheaper at drugstores (it's usually in the shaving stuff aisle in the men's section) than buying the stuff branded for pets, it's the same damn stuff.

Either the dog is stealing cat food or she's feeding him cat food, I'm thinking it's a combination of the two.

Haha like hell Dobby is getting walks. Another reason why the stroller is a stupid idea. Y’know, besides that Dobby is a tiny old man and not suitable as a support dog, emotional or no. She just wants to bring her animals into Walmart like the entitled hick she is.

Despite having ground beef, Polly is still saying she’s had no food all day

I’d assume Dobby is hungry too. Too bad he’s not Polissa, so he’s lower priority

Clearly this Fatass is eating it all in one sitting instead of eating smaller portions.

Flour also works when you quick your dog!
