yeah that kinda stuff is pretty understandable, at least thus far there's no one fully going off the deep end over it like I remember happened at the start with the Nina stuff. I believe I was the first person to drop some clips of her past life here in this thread back then and some folks went absolutely full schizo losing their mind over it. which ultimately proved unwarranted. And that could happen here too but just the fact it's dropping into her streams (which it really never did with Nina) kind of gives me pause.

A bit of apprehension I think is fine, I do hope it doesn't hit the point of anyone genuinely going nuts though.

Dude, I remember getting hyped when I first heard about Mana. A Vtuber that sings the kind of music I like? Well, count me in. There was that thing that I remember her saying that the more people request certain bands or albums, the more she won't do them, which I considered fine, cause she Semi-regularly does Spiritbox's stuff. But, then that stuff about her being a commie turned me off from her content. Haven't watched a single stream of hers since.

It'd be easier to see what her thoughts are now if she was still active on old accounts (and nothing shows up on archive sites) but since she's not we're just gonna have to be patient and wait and see.

Vesper already wants to drag the boys to Zomboid as revenge for dragging him to APEX. Something interesting he said is that he thinks watching streamers play games like Zomboid is only fun in the beginning when anything can kill you and you're just finding your footing but finds it to be boring once you get geared up and are less likely to die. He started talking about possible challenges he can do to keep the game interesting but was derailed by FBK showing up asking him to wear his glasses.

Best option is to instate a 'game master' that can manipulate game state to create events and occasionally have 'missions' for the server to complete. Since Zomboid can definitely settle into a colony simulator past a point where you collect the resources to be stable there's less need to wander around and expose yourself to threat, having someone that can set up shit to shake the status quo, maybe invoke hordes that threaten large static bases and make them unable to sit still in one place for an extended period of time.

my basis for aprehension in this case isn't that she thinks it or doesn't, I don't give two shits what she thinks, Nina likely holds all of the same political views that she did before becoming Nina. Whether or not this girl has "eased up" in her thinking is irrelevant. Part of me even respects the fact that Nina is able to keep that balance and knows better than to shit where she works.

What gives me pause is that this girl is, in small doses to be clear, but still present. Having some of this "sort of shit" bleeding through into her streaming. Anyone demanding some sort of ideological purity that wants a chuuba ruined because they think one way or another privately is only worthy of mocking and ignoring. But it actually starting to make it's way into the content and what that could attract as far as fanbases go is a considerably more valid concern IMO.
