It's possible that, in his mind, he's safe from criticism there. That he can actually be himself there and be as deplorable as he wants.

Except there are accounts of this very thing happening. A while back, I remember someone had paid to join an Onision group for the sole purpose of leaking conversations that happened there. I've heard of people staying in "Patreon Only" servers so that they can gather incriminating evidence against someone.

It's not common, but it's not unheard of, either.

Am I suggesting that someone here should do this? No, absolutely not. I only mention it to show that the "safety precautions " set up by people like Moth are not infallible.

Why would you even need to set up "safety precautions" if you aren't actively creating an environment where CP and shit can be easily shared? Most public Discord servers get along just fine (IME) without having to jump through loopholes just to access it. Moth pay-walling his server is just for the cash, of course.

Also how can you let children into a gore server, let them moderate that server and still pretend like you have some sort of moral high ground? Even if this guy isn't a pedo, he's definitely proven himself unsafe to be around minors. What a fuckin' creep. No wonder he had to settle for a fatty ten years his senior with at least one kid.

Oh man, I feel so bad for Rat. He was merely showing concern for Moth and his mental well-being, only to be attacked for it. You can tell he's just a casual viewer because he seems to have no idea that he's talking to Moth's wife. Poor guy.

Here's what I think she should have said (or at least something along these lines):

"Hey, this is his wife. I appreciate you being worried about Moth, but he's been watching this kind of thing for a while and has become a bit desensitized to it. Regardless, thank you for your concern!"

Instead, she went on the attack and likely scared off a potential fan that did nothing but simply worry for the mental health of her husband.

Just to clarify, gore is not shared in the server. It’s just very explicitly discussed along with CP. I am not defending him in the slightest, it’s still disgusting to allow discussions of that nature to take place in a server with kids as young as 13, I only bring it up because he loves using it as a point of deflection. Gore is against Discord TOS but if it wasn’t you can bet your ass he would allow it.

First person that comes to mind? Jimmy J. This is something I can see him doing, just to try and make Moth look worse. He seems willing to do almost anything in his quest for "revenge". He pretended to be an underage girl on the Youtube Horror thread not once, but twice, with one of them claiming to have been groomed by Moth. He then seemed shocked when we quickly figured out he wasn't who he claimed to be. Needless to say, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Look, I don't like Moth either (obviously, as I'm fairly active in this thread). But I would never consider doing this kind of shit. It's dumb and, while Moth doesn't strike me as a good person, I honestly can't see him doing something like this. Yes, self-harm can technically count as gore. But it's different from something like a gruesome car accident. (Might not be the best example, but hopefully you guys get what I'm trying to say.)

To whoever did this, knock it off. Moth does an adequate job of making himself look bad. He doesn't need your help.
