Inactive Byuu / byuu_nyan / setsunakun0 / Near / David Ginder - "Non-binary" furry programmer who wrote a Super Nintendo emulator, tried to blackmail Null into removing his thread, and is probably actually dead lol

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
It's honestly impressive how well he's managed to disappear, too. It's like he's some kinda high priest in a cult. With how vindictive troons can be, not a single one leaking his whereabouts
If you're talking about disappearing from the internet then for most normal people, it's pretty easy to disappear and it's nothing impressive. Just turn off the internet and go outside.

But if you're a person that only has internet friends (byuu), or obsessed with fitting in with your speedrunning crowd (chibi) or you're a terminally online narcissistic tranny (keffals), then yeah, it would be pretty impressive to disappear from the internet.

Seriously though didn't he have a boyfriend? What happened to him?
They sold their house and the husband moved into rental property - may be related to an IRS audit that could have meant they needed to sell their home to pay the bill - and Byuu seemingly went to Japan not long after.

He probably would have been fine if he just fucked off and started the rumor he killed himself. Without the suicide note, KF wouldn't have even been brought into it. The people following his thread would have mentioned it and the thread would have been archived. Hector is the one that fucked it up. He jumped on Twitter to weave a story about how we stole Byuu from the world with our bullying. Until holes started showing in his story, no one really cared. If anything, all the attention we're giving the issue is to make Hector look like an asshole, not Byuu.

I'm sure someone has to've brought them up here but there are a bunch of companies in Japan that exist specifically to help people disappear for really any reason. Originally this shit was done to avoid loan sharks or flee unhappy marriages but has extended to a means of escaping corporate entrapment and societal shame as an alternative to suicide.

Seems really weird that, of all places Byuu decided to run away to, he picked the one country where this is a common enough occurance to warrant an entire industry.

Saw this earlier today

After all is said and done and even if Byuu does indeed lie dead, murdered apparently by 13 drops of foul milk in the stale bucket pail that was the original thread, a dime a dozen as far as the internet is concerned, it has been more than a year and still nothing has come from this but the affirmation that Byuu is still around and sticking chopsticks in wall outlets to pass the time in obscurity.

It's strange, why not end all the trouble and the internet speculation forever? We still aren't culpable in anything, by the way.

In the original the password is "down" and the others are the same. This sounds less like a "nod" and more like a stylistic choice for the localization.

In other words you got all giddy for someone who you never heard of until his supposed "death date" being "Referenced" in a game when all it is is just a word. that's all it is. A fucking word.

Hey, I can play this game too!!

I can't believe Fortnite would reference the scary ooky spooky new zealand agriculture people!

This isn't a translation, not even a localization. This is straight up making up shit.
Japanese language can get tricky but near cannot somehow come from down, and vice versa. I personally don't think that it was done as a reference. Near is still a direction and feels like it fits, and even then, it isn't even that bad of a change tbh. I see it as a coincidence and not an explicit reference. It's a vague, and broad word.

I still think in this case it's making up shit.

Anyway, are they going to cream their pants every time they see the word near in the future, whether it is intended to reference byuu or not?

Wait until someone uses the word "byuu" in it's original context as a Japanese onomatopeia and a bunch of manga starts getting lauded online as containing more hommages to an obscure western game developer.
Was about to say, in japanese hentai/doujinshi, "byuu" is the onomatopoeia for ejaculation.
Don't you guys forget he got that name from the protagonist of a game who gets NTR'd to the point they make multiple euphemism of him having a smaller cock than the bull. I hope Square 2DHD's a Bahamut Lagoon remake just so all the Byuu fags stroke their cocks over a reference of their martyr just to learn he identifies with a cuck.
