Not sure it really counts as "IRL" if you're using more beauty apps than Keekihime. Not that it matters, since you aren't a VTuber since you don't have a model. Having a PNG on screen doesn't count.

Absolutely, I doubt Hololive will ever touch a Warhammer thing due to GW's kikery, but I can still hope and cope.

There was a few around, tl;dr: Latest GPU you can afford, latest intel (or Ryzen 7) cpu you can afford. Or you can go full autist and future proof your PC with a Thread Ripper.

Didn't GW is also trying to market in Japan as well? Besides, I think they would much more willing to hear an actual company like Cover than internet content creators, but that's just my Hopium working

GW has a massive stick up it's ass when it comes to Animations and Fanworks about stuff like 40k but Warhammer Fantasy appears to be less of a Taboo especially when it comes to things like the Total War games and Vermintide. This is likely due to the setting being less of a priority for them and the fact that games like Total War and Vermintide are currently the only things really carrying the property at this point.

40XX GPUs are on the horizon and NVIDIA hugely over-acquired chips for the series right before cryptomining crashed. The market is about to be oversaturated with GPU stock thanks to that, so I would wait longer, if I were you.

Don't forget 20 hours of Apex.

Axel tried to stream Apex with his and Magni's L2D running and it killed his PC. Even with just his own L2D he had huge frame rate and texture issues. Which is kind of odd since I thought their iPhones handled all the avatar stuff but I guess it must just be the face tracking while the PC renders it.

I guess it's better to have a beef PC than not if you're a vtuber with standards? Makes me wonder why Irys' model so often seems to be pixellated.

Sounds silly if you put it that way but both on the niji and the holo side we have lots of the girls that make their own videos and projects other than just gaming. and as @thirteenorphans already you've got to add up all the streaming bells and whistles on top of that. For example Amelia should go with a double PC setup (streaming+gaming) for her ambitions.

Ty, luckily the GPU is the last tihng that matters for me, I'd need it just for some light After Effects work, regarding gaming League can run on a wet potato

Selen also kind of explained it too, you do indeed need a beef PC but many vtubers ignore having a good monitor as well. I forget which stream it was, I think around Dead Space era, but Selen showed the difference between also not having a good monitor with high refresh rate (since with vtubing you ARE feeding shit to your PC to render in the end.) So yeah, Vtubing needs the beefiness on all ends or else you're basically just killing your PC slowly.

Update on the Pomucord - It's basically burnt down to the framework. When I left last night, it had shed 500 or so members thanks to publicly posted member numbers. All links to the Pomucord have been removed from the other Nijisanji fan servers. And all of the channels (except for a few subchannels/threads) had been locked down to prevent posting. I woke up this morning and most of the channels have been deleted, and this is all that remains.

I'm going to stick inside to keep an eye on the drama. I never posted there, only used it for the emotes (as per standard).

Tangentially related to discord tranny drama - Has anyone here been paying attention to Finana's antics? The few disparate dramas we've seen - joining discord to play with fans, the trap incident, and the leak of her audition video - all seem to be connected to the fact she plays with a super secret group of fans. There's the public Finclub, a more secret one for some Ryuguards, and apparently a double secret one where she actively chats and games with a super small segment of her audience. And apparently it's leaked and pissed off A LOT of the Ryuguard fans. Like longtime feesh gachikoi abandoning her type pissed off. Fish seems totally retarded. I'll write something up later, but I'm diving through the archives right now trying to find out what information I can.
