Tangentially related to discord tranny drama - Has anyone here been paying attention to Finana's antics? The few disparate dramas we've seen - joining discord to play with fans, the trap incident, and the leak of her audition video - all seem to be connected to the fact she plays with a super secret group of fans. There's the public Finclub, a more secret one for some Ryuguards, and apparently a double secret one where she actively chats and games with a super small segment of her audience. And apparently it's leaked and pissed off A LOT of the Ryuguard fans. Like longtime feesh gachikoi abandoning her type pissed off. Fish seems totally retarded. I'll write something up later, but I'm diving through the archives right now trying to find out what information I can.
I'm sorry, but you really need to elaborate on this more. This sounds way too retarded for someone that is a corpo VTuber. Hell, it sounds like some lolcow bullshit when you think about it

Semi Tl;DR:
>Joins the "Valorguard" discord, which is the fandiscord for playing Valorant etc with Finana during Members stuff
>It turns into more when the members started to exclude Finana's main simps/gachis, Chris (the pedo/koikatsu creator) and Avros.
>The main groomers/gachi she hangs with now started to play with her (apparent) boyfriend and even started streaming with him, just to stay close to Finana and basically insert themselves into her life.
>She leaks her Audition video because some of the "Valorguards" are 2-view indies dumping money on her. Sub point: It's OKAY to post/show your audition video with permission if it is clear of RL/PL stuff, which Finana's is not as she literally introduces herself as Yui.
>Her focusing on this little "clique" did indeed piss off and drive away a lot of her long time supporters
>She's doing damage control now by saying this will be the final gacha week (benefit to all) and switched Member's only streams to Public because she clearly took a big hit and need to gather more people.

That's pretty much the entire shit outside of the Futa/Trap word ban fallout.

Shitposting aside, I'm really loving Tempus. Magni is a total dork; Vesper Noir is a natural at talking (and makes me sad I didn't watch him in his previous life due to being filtered by the model); and Regis has the potential to be a fucking gremlin, has had a lot of great moments both in collabs and his TP playthrough. Axel isn't half bad either, great singing and cracked at Apex, looking forward to a potential collab with Astel.

I'll do some digging and try to find the leaked catbox of them playing Valorant with a Finana alt account; can't promise anything but I'll try.

For most Ryuguards it's a lot of things coming together, a straw on the camel's back situation. Especially since it came out so soon after the trap drama - this led to people wondering if that group is responsible for that. The other narrative is that it was Aia and the other new nijiENs' fault though.

I saw some other interesting observations too, like how she's allegedly now receiving very little open support from her fellow nijis and how it's supposedly almost like they're avoiding her. It's best to take it with a grain of salt though, and I can't verify it because I'm not following them too closely anymore. Even Pomu.

Hoping some good clips come out of this Gartic Phone collab. I'm pretty sure this is all 13 JP Holostars. Not sure if it's the 1st full collab though.
It is the first full collab they have. It's a good thing that it's not Among Us, but I have a feeling it will happen later down the line.

"When she admitted to using her superchat money to buy gifts to her friends"

Of everything there why is that an issue? Isn't that just a normal thing someone would do?

I could never understand why vtubers would have le sekrit Discords and shit until someone pointed out to me that it could be a really effective strategy to increase engagement in the community. People will presumably be more active in hopes of being invited and thereby getting closer to their oshi. More art, music and good clips etc would be produced for free as a result as well. While you do risk pissing people off, even that could be seen simply in terms of metrics if you're cold-hearted enough. I'm not sure if anyone does this deliberately, but I thought it was an interesting perspective that I hadn't thought about.

Nene, Ayame, Aqua. Looks like they were doing something together in holostudio. Who's next?
As far as I know Ayame doesn't have it unless I missed a post somewhere, she's been off since roughly start of July due to a relative dying, either her mother who had/has cancer or her grandmother who she's been looking after for the last year and a half ish.
She only said "relative" in her post about it iirc.

Was live for 3rd party concert as AyaFubuMio mid July likely due to contract obligations and thing on holofanclub earlier today with Kanata, Chloe and Koyori since she's back "soon" (tm).

My best guess is that it pissed off gachafags. She's playing a lot of gacha games and I imagine a bunch of the donos are basically meant as a way to fund her gambling habit.

I think it's a combo of:
Gachis: "We're giving you our money, we don't wanna hear what its spent on but we assume spent on bettering your content."
Finana: "Imma buy my bf/friends shit with your money, keep donating hehe"
Gachis: "okay...here's trip funds for your off collab with pomu!"
Finana: "lol so I spent all my money on gacha and my card is locked, so pomu has to pay for everything."

Basically, there's nothing wrong with it...it's just everything is coming together that makes most of what Finana does questionable.

Edit: Oh, let's not forget her buying $1000 pairs of shoes shortly after the off-collab with Pomu lol.

You really only need to find it in this thread because this same thing has been brought up three times now and the Catbox has been posted twice.

Finana's super-secret public Discord strikes again, it seems. Now it's Aia's fault somehow despite it being Uki's fault last time.

The fact of the matter is that Finana's not growing or retaining as well as the others because she juggles like 14 different shitty mobile Gacha games and it floods her schedule. Her F1 stuff and anything that isn't Gacha performs about as well as it always has (the F1 stuff has actually greatly exceeded her median ccv average).

Isn't Games Workshop totally autistic when it comes to monetized content and their IP that they started going after fan animations on Youtube? Don't get me wrong, I'd love any Warhammer game streamed by either of the ENs but since this is Games Workshop we're talking about... *shrug*
GW didn't go after a single youtuber. GW hired a bunch of animators, then changed their ToS to a standard one. Animators not hired proceeded to throw a tantrum and some retired saying GW was gonna sue them(Never happened) and decided to leave up their patreons and tell people to support them through that while saying they were done making content.

Even if it all had not ended up being a nothingburger and a grift, the specific terms were about animators. It had nothing to do with people talking about lore or playing games. There are shit tons of youtubers that do that and no one has ever been touched. Its all just retarded "corpo bad, gaming edition".

GW is not even the company that needs to be asked for permission to play games either. Its the developers, like CA.

Nah, creating an inner group inside of an already "exclusive" group is retarded. That's how you get lolcows and their orbiters. Ultimately it will destroy the community because nobody likes being alienated and singled out from some "le sekrit club"

Gezu Gezu, a Vtuber I have been following for a while is graduating next week.
Vtuber graduations arent anything new, but something she said during her announcement made me raise an eyebrow

From 08:56 to 09:10
"Anything that has my voice in it, even a twitter video or a clip, or any video on twitch will be deleted, it will be gone"

From 10:18 to 10:26
"As soon as I found out I got up and, I was just like 'ou just gotta do it, just start the stream and do it"

Someone asks 'Why do you want to or have to quit streaming at 10:42 to 11:25
"I dont think I can say anything I cant say too much, Just know, what I can say is that, its nothing bad, I'm healthy, everyone I know is healthy, everyone is well, nothing bad is happening, but I have to wipe every video that has my voice and that kind of stuff"

I just found weird she had to clarify that part, maybe I'm just overthinking it but I'd keep an eye on auditions from other companies going on.
