Evidence in favor:

1. He is a socialist.
2. He went through a phase of posting constant social media cringe bragging about his relationship with a much younger woman.
3. His girlfriend got him into pittie activism.
4. The current "Picard" series is a disaster which shits all over the good things about the character Picard and the ST:TNG series.
5. Even worse, it does so by drawing from Stewart's own personal trauma, making the whole thing a social justice warrior powerlevel cringefest.
6. His whole gay activism with Ian McKellen thing.

Evidence against:

Maybe he can coast on the dignity he acquired as a great actor before his midlife mental breakdown and get a pass?

He should take notes from William Shatner, as much as an "asshole" he can be irl. At least he didn't become pretentious with his character and hammed Kirk up in his old age.

He's just an old celebrity to tired to keep up appearances. Turns out just cause someone can act a character really well 3 decades ago doesn't mean he can also write a show for the first time on par with people writing for there entire career, nevermind the fact the virgin writer is in his 80s. Never understand how people thing all these writers are interchangeable but by God we need the same coked up line reciter who never bothered to read the whole script or watch the actual series.
I never give a shit about actors politics cause 99% of there opinion are filtered thought dozen agents and having there entire perception of reality warped by living as an "elite" . Listening to a modern actor about the world is on par with getting wisdom from someone looked in a basement till there 60s

His brain really has been failing for a while.
The amount of people taking something like a "character" seriously and associating it with, like, a biblical canon is astonishing to me. Rich pedophile jew producers control everything in hollowood, they'll take something you like and ruin it over and over again because it gives them pleasure to take something people like and destroy it. It's another way of loading people up with anxiety and kicking out any support beams of inspiration from under them to get them under control easier, quicker, and cheaper. Not to mention many of these people have been long-steeped in sadism and domination to the point they genuinely get off on seeing people suffer, en masse or otherwise.
Separate the character from the person, then realize the work will be different depending on who new gets involved with it and depending on the journeys undergone in the lives of those previously involved in it.
