I've always found this type of argument interesting. We can agree that Ben's not providing a good reason but just because Ben didn't provide a good reason doesn't mean that automatically the opposite is justified. Ethan never really provides a counter argument other than saying Ben hates gay people which is not much more than a restatement of the prior argument. (If Ben liked gay people is that a reason to deny them gay marriage? I don't actually want Ethan or his types to answer that.)
