I have no idea of the back story though. There is a Griffin Olness who lives not too far away from @Gahoole (easy enough to phonebook) who played hockey in high school but as that post says that could be bogus. Griffin Olness is also apparently the name of a singer, not sure if it is the same as the hockey player but definitely not the same person who is pictured in the YouTube channel.
