This makes sense, really. Lots of people don't give a shit about sports, but everybody gives a shit about hot wings and beer with friends. It's one of those things that's only fun because you do it with people.

By the way, has anyone else noticed how alone Wu is? And I really just mean alone on twitter. Real life it must be as limbo.

Not that long ago an @giantspacekat was part of a lot of tweets talking about all kinds of SJW stuff that was discussed by some of the heavy hitters of the scene. Not anymore though.

All that's left is people that follow the account and like/retweet Wu's first tweet in a reply chain. Literally not a single reply is liked or retweeted here:

It's like being a sociopathic asshole to everyone and getting into verbal fights with people over stupid shit and then spamming the Report button on Twitter anyone so much as looks at her wrong isn't a redeeming characteristic or something.

There are more than enough people on twitter that would agree everything that fell out of Wu's figurative mouth in the last hour or so. But even they steer clear of it.

My favourite part is in how Wu responds to being wrong. It's one of the following:

1) Admit she's wrong, but turn this around in to a humble brag about how admitting she's wrong actually makes her a great person

2) Admit she's wrong if this leads to potential to attack something, as with her Star Wars turnabout.

Even accepting these things, it's unlikely they'll be employed when admitting she's wrong would make her appear as if she doesn't know everything about tech stuff. For all other occasions there's the mansplaining defence that gets deployed whenever someone corrects her on a technical topic.

It's increasingly coming across as hysterical (although John doesn't have a uterus). It's like if John didn't buy a privileged point of view by chopping his cock off, he must have chopped it off for nothing. The undertone is "I paid big for the right to claim to be a woman and therefore have a more valid opinion than you!"

TBH, considering how she treats her husband, her pets, her computer equipment, her wardobe, her diet, her "fanbase," and her own game, I'm kind of glad Wu has shown no interest in raising children.

God, she's so fucking bitchy today! Maybe it's that time of the month---oh, wait.

Though I get what she's saying about girls not liking to play as male characters while boys don't mind playing female characters---I've definitely seen that said a bunch of times before, & in my experiences, that has actually been the case. But unfortunately, all I have are anecdotes, & I don't think anyone's actually done a study on it.
