I don’t know if that means that they’ll just finish the smaller things like missing icons, finishing/implementing Spongecry.avi final sprites, and or finishing the ending bit of the song as well.

The wording for both the tweets and GameBanana page seems to imply that they’re just gonna fix up the mod which is fine and makes me see why they possibly could’ve been stressed out because of leaks, most of the contact was leaked after all but unlike Sonic.exe, it was just really the songs themselves and there were two big surprises the mod had that wasn’t revealed until the canceled build.

Hell, the main photo shows off all the known almost all of the known characters, Faceless SpongeBob and Patrick are missing though, which is fitting because they don't have a clear origin point from where they come from.

I don’t think this truly means the mod is still going and more rather that they’ll finish what they started, the likely hood of a 2.0 also seems pretty slim, still, find it kinda sweet just how the effort was put even into the more Infamous Creepypastas like Spongecry.avi, Plankton gets served and Squidward Suicide as well, I wonder how the creators feel about this all, doesn't make their work any better but nonetheless.

And on the topic of that, the Mario Madness team has to be a little stressed out from all this shit, hope they can get 2.0 out without any troubles though.
We haven't seen all that a lot of 2.0 for the mod but so far it seems that there's only one AU exe and the rest are other Mario horror/parody content on the web which pre-dated the mod which is a good sign at least.

It's pretty ballsy and chad that they first had Racist Mario in 1.0 and in 2.0 there's going to be Luigi's day out by HotDiggedyDemon.

"Sanguilacrimae" the song based on the show's version of Squidward Suicide seems to be out of sync for some reason and the vocals sound off as a whole so it will most likely get a revamp in the future.

Also, there are two unused character songs and there were other characters planned but at least I would presume that at least one unused song would get into the finished version.

(Context; Comgaming was one of the directors for the exe mod. I believe he was promoted after revie was exposed but don't quote me on that)

From what I understand Uptaunt was a musician for the mod, he was the guy who made the original endless
But was kicked off the team for some reason (I think someone got offended over jokes I'm not exactly sure what happened)
There a lot of bullshit that was going on with the exe mod that might warrant investigating into
Hell there seems to be a tons of lolcows within the exe community that might be ripe for milking
 
To add to why EXE 3.0 got canceled:
  • Docs came out that Revive was innocent all along
  • the director of the new staff (Jesterfrog) was holding CP because he interacted with a minor and got her nudes
  • The staff, wanting to keep the nudes, backstabbed and left Revive out so she gets the flames, all Revive did was interacted with a minor (while she didn't know of all the things, and she realized too late the staff randomly sent her CP to add more fuel to the fire and mock her)
  • 6 months later, the minor gave out the doc
  • staff panics, but unfortunately their followers were like "I was starting to believe the doc until that Revive section happened"
  • staff got doxxed one by one by other staff members
  • staff members are leaving one by one
  • other staff members and a schizoanon at /funkg/ leaked the builds
  • Mastar (one of the leaders of the team) canceled EXE

The doc is posted on googledocs.
The missing section is because the minor got scared and deleted it after seeing that he was getting a lot of shit for trying to prove Revie's innocence. Sadly, can't find an alternate version before the deletion happened for archival purposes.
EDIT: Turns out somebody had the same idea as me three days ago to archive it but google doesn't post the full because "heavy use of collaborators" in the doc. Anyone knows how to archive the whole thing?
Thanks to people knowing that Revie was innocent beforehand and the docs further proving, she works as an advisor at EXEtravaganza now and just doing her own personal things.

The Tails Doll and the Knuckles/Wechnia was also a few of Revie's ideas, but was cut because she said she didn't want to bloat the mod too much. That Tails Doll was also based on Sonic Shorts Tails Doll so it was a nostalgia bomb to people who remember both the Doll and the Shorts. Wechnia (Revie's named it to follow the glitch, not 'Chaotix' from Avery) doesn't look like that in the video, instead of exactly like the glitch, but the pic is lost to time. They basically stole Revie's ideas to spite her and said it was their own ideas, when it was not.

It was very obvious that it was based on Comickpro's Tails Doll because her original version of the character helped a lot with its popularity, the same goes for her version of Fleetway Super Sonic.
But it was nowhere near as exaggerated so I thought it was a composite of her Tails Doll and the one seen in Tails Doll movie, mainly because I didn't fully remember what it looked like, either way, it would have been really cool if they were able to get her to do the sprites.

When it comes to Wechnia I knew he started off as a ripoff for Revie's exe but always thought he was a replacement for the said character after the drama and was not made by Revie himself like how Starved was for "Burning" or whatever it was called.

Anyways I along with presumably other people found it weird when Wechnia was replaced with Chaotix because of the drastically different, the original Wechnia didn't have anything to do with the glitch of the same name and used it in the same way that Needlemouse does with its name.

So that was a plus on Chaotix's side but at the same time, Wechnia had the better monster transformation part in his song with the weird-ass skin ripping apart.

Anyways, I find it funny how he throws a hissy fit over people pairing the characters together.

The video he was bitching about was just a cover of "Blacksun" but it was Revie's exe vs Chaotix and he got the person to delete their video because I guess he was offended by it or something dumb like that.

The Revie drama is all-encompassing with so many people echoing the same bullshit when if they cared about the victims of the situation or whatever then they would get try attention done on Revie but they never do and the most they do is to "protect them" is by not using his creepypasta Sonic the Hedgehog character.

Like Wechinda and Tails Doll, Avery and co stole Starved and put in the game without permisson, and he was actually stolen from a different guy, even the creator noticed and got pissed. He was never meant to be an full fledged EXE either, just something from random doodling.

Revie's Genesys Eggman was completely different, he's just Eggman but more evil. His song would be called 'Burning' if he got in the mod.
EDIT: He was also inspired from the original rom corruption Sonic.EXE Creepypasta, where he is 'burnt' or a mess of pixels or something.
All this explanations is making me feel autistic, but feels weird on knowing 3.0 is chock-full of stolen and orginial characters, when 1.0 and 2.0 is from already existing characters from Sonic media, and wasn't all about creepypasta (Fleetway Sonic, Majin, Sanic, and so on)

So in other words. It turned into a microcosm of the sonic fandom with 3.0 . OC's, Stolen art, uninspired "characters" to build off what came before, the whole shebang.

Now all we need is SonicChu to be added to the mod.

I mean it's very poetic that the mod will end because of stolen OCS, it's like it was written in the stars.

Anyways I did talk about the Sonichu concept at some point, I think that's the closest Sonichu got to be in the mod and it was something that was created because of Coldsteel being added to the mod.


Not too sure why it would be turned down other than I guess other than the Chris controversy and they didn't want to deal with any more shit.

That or he was edgy enough and they didn't want to open the door to any more infamous Sonic OCS, even if the mod is based on one.

Now the dude who made the Wechidna playable mod also made an unfinished mod for it.

Also, the desc is weird because I don't know what he means by "a concept we decided to pick up" I guess it could just mean it's a concept they decided to pick up as its own thing.

Few pages back, I posted a bit on Divide.
I want to add a bit: the 3.0 team also vandalized (and pissed on) the dead man's work. Even concept art that didn't get to the 2.0's art in-game gallery, including the freeplay art.

Only one dude made a video of all the shit that happened in general but its only in 1k views. People are still in the 3.0's team side despite that Revie was innocent all along and the director of the new team actually held CP.

EDIT: They also removed ALL his other work, and his credits. Holy shit.

So "X-Terion" a character that was teased for Sonic.exe 3.0 had a whole song and his sprites done but was left broken in the canceled build for whatever reason.

It's a shame because the song is pretty good and I think this thing was one of the first ocs to come out before the Sonic.exe 2.0 update made it a big thing, think he had something to do with the little collab projects Joe of Sonic.exe Pc Port fame would do on Twitter, don't quote me on it though.


There are for sure characters and tracks that have been left with this same fate, it's an obvious fact because of how lacking the build was, how much was teased and how long it took even to get here.

I for sure, forsee the bodies of these songs or at least pieces of them washing up over the next coming weeks or so.

Another character that was teased for the mod was "Hog" great name I know but anyways it was yet another replacement for Revie's Sonic.exe (nicknamed "Faker") and its song and sprites are done as well.

Also, his song is pretty great as well, which again shows how much effort was actually put into the update.


There's some likely hood that the full song or at least the sprites will be reused for "Sonic.exe: Fan-spansion" if it's still a thing, anyways Hog already had a song in it before he was part of the Sonic.exe mod so that's why I think this stuff might be reused in it but that's just speculation at this point.

Either way, one of these two was teased from or at least near the beginning of 3.0 but doesn't seem to be entirely done and the other one was near the end of the project but got way more done, I guess that's just the art of the collab.

For some Context they're talking about a shitty unity game JOI parody of FNF game.
Their reasons for the tag? So far it's because they just take characters from mods and sexualize them (stealing art?), and JessFrost (who either works on the game or just because his OC is in it) is claimed to be a pedo (Link classy discord screenshot~oooooooo, can't archive due to me about to head out to work so feel free.) Basically just allegations that I don't care about. The worst one is them saying it's bad to sexualize characters made by minors but... well do I really need to go into that.
Otherwise it's pretty standard drama but the game is... weird, I played it just to see what it's about and it is very shitty and cheap but popular? I don't know but feel free to look into it yourself.
The funniest part is that they have a fucking roadmap.

Yeah, I'm just talking shit. With the next update being postponed with no word of when it may release, you could be forgiven for thinking it's vaporware. The only thing that keeps me from doomposting is the belief that a group of small time developers couldn't just disappear with a couple mil.
