Don't listen to anything Elaine says, she is a wendigo and she can impersonate people after consuming their flesh. Well from my research on the topic I have learned that the wendigo can't eat normal food and is usually created in a situation where the person is starving and therefore their souls are vulnerable for possession, they become so desperate that they eat human flesh and then the wendigo spirit takes possession of them. They then keep craving human flesh, but can never be satisfied and are left hungering and starving for all eternity. This explains their skinny spooky skellington appearance despite feasting on people.

I’m not an ana-chan, my thyroid is just broken and I spend 99% of my existence in crippling stress so I can’t retain fat. This has made me consistently insecure and I actually wish I was a normal weight. There is nothing I can medically do apart from hope it gets bad enough for them to remove my thyroid lol.

I think the silver bullets part has to be a relic of translation errors and confusion with European werewolf traditions.
