Not streaming for weeks will definitely show a big drop in numbers though. When he finally returns to twitch, unless he does major PR to try and hype it up again, his return stream will likely pull in pre-ratio numbers. It'll be a dead chat except for his most hardcore sycophants. He knows this because it's the nature of twitch, even your most hardcore regulars will move on to other streamers and forget about you. It's likely why he'd be willing to dissolve partnership if he smells the potential to make more money on YouTube.
He really needs to start whipping his neet pajeet editor if he really wants that to succeed, though. He's going to run into the DSP issue of seeing zero growth on YouTube because he can't be fucked to put the effort in to make videos people want to actually watch.
