Well, in my case I was clearly reading the case activity backwards, so my mistake! Heilberg is still his attorney presumably, but I stand by my contention that Chris is refusing what is undoubtedly a plea deal that would be in his best interest. It's really strange that the prosecutor waited an entire year to upgrade the charge and send him to a grand jury for indictment, which leads me to believe that they are doing so to get leverage over him like they would any other defendant.

And yeah, I'm still around, but I haven't been posting on CWC's board much considering the fat autist has been locked up for a year and I find his rambling Jesuschu jail letters to be fucking insufferable. Best Case scenario: time served minimum of a year and slapped with sor and felony charges which gives him a felony record. worst case scenario suspended sentence of 2 to 3 years with a year served. So the same only arguably worse since hell also be on strict probation, which if he violates or fucks up even once then it's off to prison with him.

The prosecutor wouldn't have indicted him (or is attempting to, which is all we know as of now) after an entire year just to give him a felony record without any additional time beyond the year he's already served. Wouldn't make any sense for them, considering that until the grand jury proceedings were announced, he had largely been off the radar. As I said before, he probably was offered to plead out with time served, and is refusing, maybe because one of the release conditions is that he doesn't get to go back to 14BC and his toys and vidya. Ultimately, none of us know what has been going on behind the scenes, but we'll surely find out very soon, especially since now that he's no longer in J&DR court all of the proceedings will be public record.

The prosecution has been unbelievably kind to Chris and gave him a whole fucking year to get his shit together and take a sweetheart plea deal. By refusing a plea deal at the last, Chris forced the prosecution's hand to either wobble him back up to Big Boy Court or let him go free. There's no way they're letting him go free, so it's felony charges for Chris. Despite everyone's best efforts, Chris did it to himself.

Chris has a tard shield, like during the Michael Snyder case where he had to plead out. I think his plea in that case didn't require him to say that he was guilty, but he had some outburst that Snyder "DIDN'T DESERVE ONE RED CENT!", and everyone in the court just ignored him.

So I don't think he would have torpedoed a plea deal this time, just it likely involves pleading guilty to a felony charge so they can slap him with a couple years probation.
