General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Pippa's giant melon head and round chin make her unreasonably cute in 3D. It looks so much better than the very sharp chins a lot of 3D models end up with, and it's so cute looking that I almost forgot that she's actually a sentient mold colony.
literally bumskopp (bless the germans having a word for everything).
now imagine if she'd took of that cloak. her 2d already looked like a stick figure.

Nah, don't you know? A 9mm is all it take to blow the lungs out of the body.

Shot placement is king, caliber is queen.

That being said, where I live you have to give the intruder a preliminary warning to leave the premises before you can blow them away. Fortunately, the sound of a shotgun racking is legally considered to be a message to leave.

It says 'Prepare to become hamburger, asshole'.

Of course, anything less than a 9mm is a risk I'm not willing to take (laughs in 40 caliber)

Also an attractive female Phase Connect general /vt/ poster seems to out herself to Pippa and the rabbit is shocked. Would be funny if she is actually a talent from PC or another small corpo.

I am still amazed with this tech. When the woman shows her phone to the camera you can actually see Pippa pause as what's being shown and told to her. She then squints and leans in as she processes what she's seeing. As nice as the animation was for the talents at Holofest I don't believe any of them came even close to being able to express real time emotions like this. I think I'd be willing to pay $10 to be able to interact with the girls of Phase Connect like this, or have Lisa scream her name at me, or try to make Amiya snort by telling a dumb joke.

I was a little too curious as to who was financing V&U because that amount of financial aid left me very puzzled.

V&U news article

Turns out they are partly run by some Korean animation company with involvements to SM entertainment, one of the big K-Pop companies (SM manages Super Junior, SNSD, Red Velvet to name a few notable ones). They apparently had something to do with creating the virtual characters of aespa, one of the newer K-Pop groups. I could be wrong or misreading things but well, it was interesting to find out they might actually be rolling in cash.
I saw a Liora ad running before Gura's stream when I opened it on my phone the other day, so they are actively promoting V&U.
