Fuck Nyanners, but the only thing I knew of mouse was her singing talent since even before she was deep into vtubing. It's the main reason I can stand her, because while she's not a piece of shit (compared to the other girls) she has some actual talent and wasn't just relying on coomerbaiting to guide her hand. So yeah, as others said you missed out.

Never watched clips. Didn’t try to. Probably something to do with only following for 3 months and rarely watching her. As in like once every month/few weeks during Speak of The Devil.

Why/How did Panko get members open before the rest of gen 2? Also there seems to be a little story about it having multiple tiers and people getting upset, but now it's okay? I can't bring myself to dumpster dive anymore to find out.

Panko didn't run into the problems other talents did. I know Shiina didn't get approved because she got strikes the opening Karaoke she was doing which is why she quit doing them. Some of the others have issues due to issues with their content, etc..

The problem that occurred with Panko's membership tiers is that she did not change the default Youtube text for tiers, which has a base fee of $4.99 and two upper tiers that promise priority chat messaging and special access to members. Fits were pitched /there/ and in the discord, Management talked to her to find out what was going on, and she publicly apologized for her mistake and changed the two upper tiers to extra support (without benefits).

This also triggered them to check the rest of the memberships for existing talents on you tube and ended up realigning all talents to a $4.99 base, with extra support tiers if they wanted to have them. For example Tenma's was readjusted down from $6.99 to $4.99.

Edit: Tenma's issue was likely Youtube recommending a CAD equivalent to $4.99 USD when she opened membership (due to the accounts location being in Canada) and her using that number but setting the price at USD,

It's why most ASMR I follow anymore is on male operated channels. They generally can't float on coomerbaiting like women who just use their bodies as leverage. There's too many to name to even begin it's so prevalent, it doesn't take much real talent and just drowns out women who put some effort or class into their ASMR channels. Doesn't help matters in weebspace where the adjacency to Japanese ASMR leaning more towards R18 audio plays.

Vtubing would lend itself perfectly to the kind of things Moonlight Cottage or Goodnight Moon have done, with elaborate costumes and scene dressings to deepen the immersion of a fantasy/historical setting, though it'd need some support art side for model changes. A real god of the craft would go full ATMOSPHERE and create full on cinematic vignettes with 3d models. Crescendo does something kind of adjacent using COM3D2, turning a basis of a porn game into some pretty wholesome ASMR content. This all isn't really related to vtubers directly though and can lead to me just sperging about audio content creation ad nauseum.

Yeah, it's just literal R18 now. I tuned back in and shes pretending to rub chats dick while breathing heavily and moaning. What a fucking 180 from last time.

I don't watch a ton of male ASMR stuff besides ASMR Zeitgeist for the sheer production value he brings to his videos and Japanese Shampoo ASMR because that dude is just funny (and he brings cute girls on). I gravitate towards female for obvious reasons but even the ones that start out good seem to slowly slip into this stuff. My favorite that's still holding the line against the coom is Coromo Sara. She's great.

I'll have to check out the ones you mentioned. But yeah, not really vtuber related anymore so I'll shut up now =P

If you're interested you should read up on Mouses story. You'll get a better perception of why even most of /vt/ kneels to her, why even JP bros appreciate her.

She started out wanting to be an opera singer who performed on stage for thousands. That was her dream, to be a successful opera singer. She trained and was very good at it but her illness crept up on her and right about the time she'd have been primed to really start getting noticed she had to become a bubble girl. So she got kinda depressed but did vtubing as an outlet while drawing etc. Back when I first learned of her she had less than 100 viewers a stream on average, it wasn't profitable for her, she just did it.

She met some of the others through zentreya iirc she is very attached to zentreya and silvervale because they were two of the first who really helped her out and got her going. Tbh I think it was melody who reached out first but she ended up doing a collab with silver and melody which brought her into contact with well-monied donors and simps who started dropping thousand dollar donos to her on a regular basis. Sometimes you'd hear her oxygen monitors beeping etc, boom chat donos enough for a new one. No desk for her bed? Boom chat donos.

Back then she would get very strained from even a little singing because it was hard for her to get her meds and plasma especially during covid. But she finally found a way that she's able to sing for sometimes over 20k people at once and idk I just think that's very wholesome and nice. She was able to pay off her parents home and is able to afford better healthcare now. And now that she's in a corp she might finally be able to do some real VA work like she dreams of.


Tl;Dr it's hard to not like Mouse on some level

PTSD ... for a fire in a kitchen, man i dont know why first worlders are so weak or is just me at least nothing horrible happened and she now has to go the lazy way because 1 little incident

Needless to say, she was a wee bit overwhelmed by the sheer generousity
