General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I hate to break it to you, but Tempest is Holostars. They're on a different timetable than Hololive proper. The time between HoloX and UPROAR's debut's was less than 5 months. An EN3 November - December debut is not unreasonable. That would also make Council and the assumed EN3 separation longer than that of Myth and Council. Long enough to create that fanbase your semi-illiterate ramblings was talking about.
holoX is JP,holostars many people specially holo anti claimed to be "excluded" by cover or cover don't care etc, so no one count it,so yeah, holoEN,holoJP are not debuting every 1-2 month otherwise the whole "cover release/debut ALWAYS after 1 year contract coming from graduation" didn't exist, when the last HoloEN gen debut? how many month?,gen 3 probably debut sep/october which is what? 1 year?

if they really want to monopolize they will keep posting next "holoEN gen recruitment" after myth boom every 1-2 month, then all of those indie, who applied have bigger chance to be part of holoEN,why? well the next holoEN debut will come soon in few month, but no,its 1 YEAR.

As someone said before, if they're going to debut new HoloEN gen, it's most likely going to be either September or October. August is already packed with celebration and stuff, and I don't think they will debut a new gen during the HoloSummer

On the topic of holosummer man that whole thing seems to be stupidly planned out the big reveal of it is going to be when we're moving in to September? like when summer ends? I watched the stream with Nodoka and A-chan the other day and I was just like "the fuck you dragging this out for a month for?"

I'm also half expecting the whole thing is being conducted to string people along making them think the swimsuit streams will return for the girls and they'll get to use those models again, but it's just going to be some merch shit they sell and the girls still will be refused to use it in streams and no new outfits are being commissioned.

In regards to a streamer being "lazy", I can understand why Gura got the most flak. Despite her mentioning many times about how busy she is behind the scenes, she didn't produce as much result compared to her genmates like Calli and Ame, though I have an explanation for that.
  1. She mentioned in her recent member stream that she has two ongoing project that has been work-in-progress for over a year, one of them is a song
  2. She also mentioned in the past that she has scrapped several projects (I believe they were songs too) for not being up to her standard
So it's mostly a case of her perfectionist self preventing her from delivering the projects she is working on. With that say, lately she has been teasing us about something she is working on, I'm looking forward to that.

I don't think I've seen anyone talk about this, but clock me if I'm just retarded.

It seems that Niji's continuing their gameplan of further pushing their Vtubers as "virtual actors/seiyuus" of sorts, as they released a new musical unit called Sepiast, consisting of original male characters voiced by already existing NijiJP girls.

List of talent involved includes Higuchi Kaede (Shu [not the EN one]), Shizuka Rin (Ren), Yuuhi Riri (Tobari), Inui Toko (Mio), Nui Sociere (Yui), Fumi (Ten), and Shirayuki Tomoe (Yukari). Just like in the case of the Kodansha collaboration (Lie:verse Liars), the character designs also share some resemblance to the original girls.

So we have pippa's past internet life on full display with her full name and voting records, but we still don't have a real facedoxx? The fursuit and the sliver of hair in page 6440's bird photos are the closest I have seen.
I think it's mostly a case of disinterest. Like yeah we know the yabbits name and town and IG and shit, but other than peeking at her IRL face, what does that grant us? I'll admit I'm curious enough I'd look if someone else posted it, but until/unless she really fucks up enough to make it interesting, I don't care enough to do the digging past what we already have.

I managed to gain access to the deactivated alleged Pippa/Zax accounts on the furfaggotry site and I present to you evolution:

The above is bad porn she bought for him:

The pippa account in question appears to have been an artist that got work drawing commissions:
Among them bad porn:

The oldest content on Zax's account is a couples art picture:

Zax did buy art from her and Pippa did draw art for him and Pippa did recreate her character repeatedly here are a couple examples:

I said it for Hololive and I'll say it again for Niji: I think both companies future-proofing their members and likenesses by pushing them beyond the scope of being a streamer is a good thing with a fuckload of new opportunities.

It seems AC have the budget to actually start trying to normalise this stuff now and get in there first. In a vacuum, it's cool to see some of my favourites get their own spot in an official unit.

I wonder if they plan to acquire a record label, or if it'll be a completely in-house project given that Toko and Deron are both already with UMG and Lantis respectively.
