Have blind are these people? I live in California, a blue state, and to be honest I'll feel much safer and happier in a red state. There's no many problems with homelessness, drugs and alcohol, gangs, etc.

Reminds me of the local urbanites in my county. They hate anything outside the city, yet it's the rural areas that are more welcoming and sane. My county is a purple county too.

The last two ones I think are jokes, first one doesn't sound like it but she has "Southern woman" in her profile and posted a bunch of MAGA stuff, I think she's jokingly saying the red states are horrible so people from blue states shouldn't come for 30 or 40 years.

There were some other people posting joking horror stories about going to a red state and someone scary sounding approaching then being nice to them.
