Autistic Culture Movement / Neurodiversity

20 year old autist is unhappy that his mom isn’t treating him like an adult who knows things.

Despite not knowing math, history or even basic adulting.

Unironically asking if anyone can fix things for him, so he can be like a normal adult.
There's so many things that are wrong with this, that I can't help to believe that this is fake.

Thread #2 on why it's wrong to film their meltdowns, backed by threats of breaking cell phones and anecdotes of their parents filming them.

IRL tard fight because OP fought back
They sound like lovely people who we definitely should feel sorry for and that they are superior to rest.

Seriously though. Autistic adults and teens need to control themselves. I get it's harder but tantrums aren't okey from adults. It doesn't mean you can't never show negative emotions, you just need be in mostly in control. There are very rare situations where overt overwhelming responses like tantrums are called for or accepted as reasonable. So learn to be reasonable even if it hurts because neurotypicals are doing it too and it's not just fun or easy to them either.

Also people are going to film, especially dramatic dangerous looking situations regardless if it's right or wrong. Filming just has so many benefits from maybe going viral or to people calming down or fucking off if their crimes are being recorded. You can't prevent it, people aren't doing anything illegal and there are too much on stake to make it so. It might not feel nice but neither are your actions and others have deal with that.

Holy shit, this. Something being harder to resist for somebody than it is for those around them doesn't mean it's okay for them to do it. The common theme I've noticed with the worst posts from them is that they overshoot what they're asking for. Instead of asking for empathy and understanding when they have to struggle more to act appropriately, which would be a fair thing to ask for, they instead want to be allowed to act inappropriately, which is decidedly not fair. Moral of the story, don't make your neurodiversity everybody else's problem!

Politisperg hates historically inaccurate films, stuff like how Hitler was portrayed in Jojo Rabbit.

Being weirded out and gossiping about the weird guy in college counts as bullying, unfortunately. Along with an coworker shoving an porn GIF in your face; but this guy had it coming.

Most of the ones that I've seen had one of the parents behind the camera while the other one was trying to calm the kid down. What I usually get from them is trying to prevent the usual suspects from saying that so-and-so is abusing their child or something.

Asshole autists use their tism as an excuse for all kinds off asshole behavior, including things that have nothing to do with the specific deficits of autism. It's one thing not to be able to read people and another to break explicit rules that apply to everyone. If an autist actually gives a shit about rules, they're sometimes even better than neurotypicals at following them precisely because of their literal thinking.

So general assholery is never excused by autism, nor is throwing temper tantrums unless you're so super low functioning you should be in a home.

I have the cure for autism: Bullying,
No. This makes it much worse. "Bullying" is physical violence and intimidation by actual niggers for not bowing to their antics or standing out too much. Are you trying to create more Nikolas Cruzes?
Autism is just blanket term for stupidity so they could get away from things they do or say, also excusing their behavior and the deviant shit they like, while giving doctors an out for explaining to their parents their child is not a moron but "special".
It's a spectrum 🌈🌈🌈
But seriously, it's inadvisable to lump all spergs together like that because autism encompasses everything from normal intelligence and no social awareness to severe mental retardation

It's that or put them in an airtight barrel and stopper up the bung until the screeching stops.

You're talking about actual tards. Your garden variety triple-digit IQ autist just needs a little extra guidance and a firmer hand
Add " prying them off the internet " to this and he might agree with you.

But at any rate, thread tax because some Karen is angry over the association between pedophiles and retards that this guy was talking about.

(Presentation is explaining about how autists get mistaken for sex offenders or how they become one through being oblivious to social cues. Keeps mentioning that they're more likely to be the victims of sexual abuse; I'm around 50 mins in and they never explained this angle)

And it wouldn't be an Karen moment without it complaining to the janitor.

Considering that she made herself a fucking wreck and an embarrassment, she deserves being ostracized.
Gotta show this classic

It’s probably real. Autists can be this blunt, incomprehensible and inarticulate, trust me. When they talk/post shit online they come across as 50 IQ chatbots because their spaghetti brains struggle to deal with the nuances of interpersonal communication that mentally healthy people handle unconsciously. Another reason why autism is great.

I get what you're saying, but the fact that was his only post on there isn't exactly quite convincing if you rule out his parents cutting off the Wi-Fi.

Long-winded discussion over the concept of taking an cure

And regarding the current header, people have forgotten who Chris is and it's somehow the internet's fault for laughing at him instead of trying to pull his life together. (Pronouns are more important than being an sex pest!)

Other than that, it's mostly the same variety of existential crisis that teenagers regularly go through and low-effort discussions that's been going on. Might need to find an new site, at this rate.
I'm rather surprised that people on the Internet have forgotten who OPL is, considering he is the face of autism online.

The concept of curing autism is a complex issue in itself. The lack of of clean precise definition of autism is one of the main reason of why the expectation of a cure is blind optimist. EX: Myocardis may be a reasonable ailment to find a cure because we know what it is and what cause it. Autism on the other end, we diagnose it in a very subjective manner. What distinct autism and normies is a set of random not always related behavior that deviate of the norm. Said deviation is only based on the judgement of the psychiatrist.
That probably one of the reason why search for a cure always become inconclusive if repeated or take a bigger sample. or there some case of those that are magically ''healed'' by themself or doing x thing
Pro neurodiversity autism (mostly if not all HFA or aspie) don't want the existence of a cure because they think will eliminate who they are. And who can blame them. The lack of proper definition of what is autism, make the fear of losing personality once having take the cure pretty much reasonable. Hence what make them autism? They're personality? How they react? Some psychic flaw?
