I skipped commenting on it all, but I'm gonna have a damn solid laugh if after all this, the shit with Pippa amounts to fuckin nothing. Granted that's also the best result based on everything since otherwise it has groomer shit tied to it. (Well I mean there's an L in general for being furries at all but that's arguably the least offensive potential here that isn't "nothing.") The only other outcome even remotely as funny is if he's as gay as was originally assumed and is basically a bff homo fursuiting around with her.
Actually this reminds me of some chick I knew online who had a gay bff. They constantly played every game ever partied together and ALWAYS talked about how they were married, comparing themselves to couples in shows or whatever else. Every single time it was "Literally us!" and all that gay shit. So come to think of it I wouldn't even be slightly shocked.

Personally it's back into my ignore folder after this post unless something hard drops one way or the other. So far it's been a lot of talk about not a whole lot, just the potential of what it might be. I understood the first several pages happening about it, but goddamn.

Anyway, may I offer some smol groove in these trying times?

I was just rewatching Dan Dan, and I like how there's a section where Mumei is upset that a shopping cart got left a few feet away from the cart return along with all of the tragedies.

Edit: Thinking about it, maybe that's the one she's fixing? There's probably some smooth brain who saw her in the parking lot of a grocery store and thought it was a reference to the recent shooting.

Tourists can't get in right now unless they're on a registered and escorted tour. Plenty of people are getting in on entertainer visas etc. (look at all the musicians playing festivals in Japan, or yeah anime con guests), which isn't an employee relationship. That's probably what Niji did, and the question of why Holo won't is legitimate.

It reflects badly on them if so, given that there's no visible end product of all that. Did she just not have the stamina for hours of pointless meetings?

I can't claim to know the specifics for Japanese business visas but I do know that being a contractor adds a wrench to things such as housing in Japan.

I kind of want to see how Niji are going to smuggle all of EN into Japan if they follow the same business model. Are they just banking on restrictions loosening by the time NijiFes happens or are there other avenues to get someone in to work for you.

I should have specified this one clearer. Kiara said these friends were being hired by the conventions. They aren't tourists and aren't really allowed to travel outside of work purposes. They can but it would be frowned upon and probably affect future travels. Kind of reflects poorly on Cover, but I'll not dive into that tired old shitfest again.

Unfortunately I'm at the mercy of people who watch HoloEN to answer that, as I don't know how much they divulge about what goes on behind the scenes.

There would have to be a lot of meetings and discussions behind the scenes though: projects, permissions, collabs (both in and outside the branch), recordings, scripted work, and commissions just to name a handful of likely possibilities.

Though I'd imagine that, unless the majority of HoloEN are quietly burning out as well, the bureaucratic workload is probably nothing out of the ordinary and it was only Sana who struggled to juggle everything.

In fact we can reasonably assume that HoloEN actually have way less meetings and stuff to find time for than NijiEN due to the latter's seasonal voice pack rollout that requires meetings, script writing, recording, as well as the Special Broadcasts they do during new waves which require meetings, script writing, and rehearsals. I don't think this reflects badly on Cover that one person couldn't handle what they signed up for (if that's even the reason). Though I do acknowledge your point that voice packs and special broadcasts would constitute as a 'visible end product' which might improve their mood.

The UVs are intact. Just go to the Shading tab, select a member, Tab, A (to select all), in the shader editor select the correct texture slot and press Assign (Also in the Slot dropdown menu). Remove the Principled BSDF, create an Emission Shader and Image Texture Node (with the correct Texture selected) and connect those. Then make sure Backface Culling is on. I don't know how used to Blender you are so I just tried to break it down as basic as I could.

Enough to understand what you are saying. I used to use Lightwave 3D a long time ago, so it’s just trying to remember all of that in a new environment.
