I think he's just constantly dehydrated and deficient in vitamins and minerals (alcoholism, trash diet). If he took better care of himself he wouldn't specifically need the cherry juice. Or maybe he doesn't drink cherry juice and just uses it to inflate his "muh expenses" narrative. You never know with him.
