Yeah I like that I mentioned his last Gym Stalker Gate and then this happens immediately aftwards. lol He was stalking Bowers at her gym and pretty much even admits to it in his damage control piece. The fact he thinks this is a good thing to bring up in public, let alone the way he phrases it, is insane. No one who is this much of a dick in public would be tolerated in any real industry that wasn't some niche import nerd thing.

Discussion or debate to SJWs is like garlic to vampires. It all has to end with closing it off forever at some point for the greater good of always being right. The only reason I don't think it will happen is because the pathetic ANN forum lifers that signed up a bazillion years ago probably hilariously represent a good portion of ANN's actual real traffic apart from search engine crawlers, and I'm sure MacDonald knows that. The idea of anything having an official forum is a very archaic concept at this point.

I totally agree with this.
Towards the end of me using ANN, I'd just check in for any new American license pick ups and check out the forum, i rarely clicked on any of the articles.
If he shut down the forums, ANN would very likely go belly under. You can pay to be a "super special awsome" forum user. I don't know if they still have it, but I'm betting they still do. So if he got rid of them, they'd be seeing pretty much no revenue anymore...

It’s even hilarious that she complains about people complaining about Right Stuf essentially bending the knee to Sony for Crunchyroll to get even more unpopular and Square Enix+ essentially promoting more censorship to make people pay more for politically correct translations, yet thinks ANN is the big problem for not controlling her hivemind of posters that call her out for promoting more censorship.

Eating their own is something that’s been done for years, and it seems they’re experts at it.
