Yeah, I love how Clinton had SAP stuff with fucking keywords and everything on her little email server, but not jack shit was done to her, but they're going to raid Trump over this?

For context: Keyword SAP stuff is the kind of stuff that ends up with leakers in a shallow grave. It's the kind of stuff that is STILL hand carried by an armed courier that often has an armed escort. It's only moved via air travel on Air Force jets.

The fact it was removed from the air gapped systems (That is NOT up to the State Department to decide the classifications on SAP records, files, and documents) and put on that server fucking boggled my mind.

As an aside, it's almost page 1500. Is it about time to set up a new thread?
Mod tools aren't loading too slow, which was why Ride closed the previous thread. I'm hoping this one can ride it out through the midterms, but we'll see where things go. People are getting a little better about splitting some of the major happenings into specific threads.

Have you heard of "Arkanicide", my good sir?
That family has (had?) more power than is reasonable, even for a presidential family. Are they some kind of southern Mafia thing or just worse at hiding the general dirtiness of politics than usual?

It's getting warmer. A shit ton of trump supporters are converging on Mar-A-Lago

Jack is saying the endgame is a indictment of trump. There' s no fucking way that will fly.
You can indict a ham sandwich.
Normie conservatives are really only kept in check by the faith they have in the government being fair and benevolent. What you're seeing is them finally realizing that the feds are not fair, and will fight tooth and nail to keep you down and hurt you. Whether or not this is a crossing the Rubicon moment remains to be seen, but I have a feeling midterms are going to be very tense and could get spicy.

On the bright side more distrust of the feds is always good.
This is absolutely a Rubicon crossing. The only way it could be more decisive is if they forcefully detained Trump, killed one of his family members in the raid, or killed Trump himself.
I've always wondered what Senator Armstrong's deal was, is he supposed to be a lolbertarian? He's got a yellow tie like the Gasden flag and he's talking about social Darwinism like a caricature of a libertarian.
All I know is that I like the cut of his jib.

This thread will NOT survive the mid-terms
This is not a guess
THIS IS A THREAT

Not sure. The people (not online personalities, but people I know) I'd expect aren't losing their shit about this yet. Seems like a shot across the bow. A prelude to war, not a declaration.
Everything hinges on how they play it in the next few days. Trump could make it war INSTANTLY, but if they shut up afterwards, it becomes just a threat.

He's right. The Hunter Biden laptop story has been glossed over and passed out of mainstream news so quickly that a lot of people aren't aware of the CP Hunter had on his laptop.

took me longer than it should have, but the subtle distinction of West Palm as opposed to Palm Beach is an important bit to the joke and worth acknowledging

Classic Based Skull, too.

This was most likely written as satire in its time but honestly in that department it has an opposite effect and works about just as well as Liberty Prime from Fallout:
Maybe its because the crux of the concept of what is talked about has some grain of truth in it that makes the whole thing fall apart to some people?

woah woah woah, did you just misgender me, FBI-person?
I can't feel comfortable continuing this conversation, as I identify as that thing you didn't say
What alternative do you propose to "you"?

You shouldn't mistake stupidity with malice. You need to come to terms with that we're ruled by evil people.
Evil people that are equally incompetent but still somehow to come out on top at least as often as they fail.
Both. They’re both evil and stupid.

The fact that Haiti existed and that Lincoln would’ve just restricted blacks just the same as reconstruction did. He didn’t want another Haiti so he would force relations between whites and blacks regardless of state opinion.

Lincoln wanted to send the slaves back to Africa. Fredrick Douglas(IIRC) was so determined to get Lincoln to understand that the recently freed slaves loved both their President and America so much that he literally had to commission a statue to get the point across that most former slaves were grateful and just wanted to live the American dream.

In retrospect, it was a mistake. And kinda BS when you think about it. Black people would have been ambivalent towards America at best. 40 acres and a mule were the original gibs.
