*I am also currently attempting contact with forum user @Otm Shank , as he also has substantial claims that he knew keffals IRL. I am looking to corroborate this evidence with him.

This is highly believable, and I hope that Keffal's ex comes forward with their story. Keffal's position as a trans streamer shouldn't protect him from facing scrutiny, especially if he really did those things which so clearly undermine his entire message.

To be fair, if someone sent in an email in his name and it led to the raid, it's basically swatting with extra steps.

The weird thing is how one email could apparently lead to a judge signing a warrant and the cops seizing computers. You'd think idiots signing abusive emails with fake names would happen constantly, and police would do some sort of basic check first. Either they're unusually incompetent or something else made them think he was the culprit/dangerous.

Kind of a moot point with forensic IT work and analysis now. When your devices get seized, authorities will generally image them in as close to the state they were seized as possible. Almost all analysis is done on copies of these images and they will be able to peruse anything still cached on the devices as of their seizure. Even "deleted" things just have pointers removed and will be trivial to recover unless Keffals went out of his way to ensure they weren't. Even then it's not a great look when you went out of your way to make it so a state actor couldn't recover files.

It's really a potential worst of both worlds with Keffals. Assuming Canada shares this commonality with common law, if you should reasonably know something contains evidence and destroy it anyway, even if the courts do not charge you with destruction they can generally assume whatever you destroyed contained the most compelling potential evidence. So now that they've deleted these things prosecutors get to run wild with what it could be. Since they have the imaged devices in custody, they also actually still have potential access. So even if they don't think of something, they can "get lucky" in recovering specifically damning messages. Lolcows and own-goals pair like peas and carrots.

Kaylie has been a known name of Lucas. We have emails of his where he used the name. It also lines up with the name he used in pornagraphy.

This is hefty allegation, but one that sounds like it’s possible. Dare I say, likely.
