God, I hope Chris demands a jury trial. The prosecution can bring up how Chris, pretending to be a troll, suggested getting him to rape Rocky. Fucking bonkers.

Does Chris know about the autism card being played? Surely he wouldn’t want his healing work to be portrayed as an autistic brain fart instead of something holy.
Looks like he got away with it.

Not gonna lie, kinda MATI that the literal motherfucker is likely getting out and dipshits people will continue to whiteknight Chris so that he can keep 14BL ct. Then again, my disappointment is my own fault because Chris has been bulletproof against any legal consequences likely as karma for his shitty life of being trolled for years AND I STILL EXPECTED HIM TO HAVE TO FACE SOME CONSEQUENCES FOR RAPING BARB.
Chris has been in jail for a full year at this point. Even if he gets convicted, there will always be a chance that he gets out on time served.

That said, I'm still genuinely surprised that the stolen money still hasn't been addressed yet. However, it lends further credit to the theory that Barb and/or her current caretakers haven't been cooperating with the police. So far, the only "credible" source Greene County has reporting the theft is Null, and it's possible they shrugged it off given Null's neither family nor Barb's caretaker.

If Chris is let go and allowed to leave the jail.
This will only make his God complex worse and he will think he's invincible. The only true way for anything to stick with Chris is probably something he should've gotten as a child and that's a grand old lesson in the school of hard knocks.

Homelessness won't affect him because he'll probably get weens, or people feeling sorry for him to give him money, free wifi and government phones exists and he may get those. Let's not forget if he gets his tug boat back he'll probably blow it on toys, and anything that will make him feel comfortable.
Did Chris actually do anything as a kid that deserved discipline? As far as I can tell he was a very sweet little kid. I don't think he started having intermittent episodes of awfulness until his late teens (and Bob's death seems to be where he became a BPDemon 24/7).

True. But then his case was earlier today, so if he is out he's had enough time to get to one of them...unless he doesn't have a charging cable.
Possible, but also remember CVRJ Is located in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, and most of greene county until you get to metropolitan Charlottesville is wild rural wasteland. There's no mass transit for miles around save for a few senior and disabled folk busses and most of them are strictly charter only. The courts are obligated to ensure chris has some transport to wherever its been set up he's going (whether it's a tard home or some homeless shelter remains to be seen. )
I doubt it was in his pocket when he was arrested so he probably left it in his car or in his motel room, which means either way it's gone and he doesn't have it.
Don't underestimate Chris, though he couldn't see himself getting arrested (in spite of his claims of having "foreseen" it) I'm sure he made sure to have a cable on him at all times, if only to charge at someplace he would wander off too before getting arrested.

But as it's been said we'll know sooner or later and it looks like the outlook has swung it his favor, if the assumptions about why the case has been sealed is true.

Plot twist: Heilburgs master plan is to keep Chris locked up until Barb dies
I know this is a joke, but who knows when that will be - mortality rates for the elderly are pretty unpredictable. A lot of people think that age 80 is the very very end of the road and that anyone who lives longer than a few additional months is pulling off some kind of miracle (probably due to misunderstandings about how life expectancy works), but in the US, half of all white men who reach their 80th birthday live to see their 87th, and half of all white women who reach their 80th make it to their 89th. Barb might pass away before the year's over, or she might still be alive come 2030. She's not in fantastic shape but she's not particularly worse off than numerous 80 year olds who manage to tough out some additional years.

His childhood years are vague at best, but there’s hints that he was a spoiled little asshole then too. He acted out enough that Borb had to literally escape the school district out of fear that he’d get put away. And I recall that story about how he’d push and shove because he had to be the first off the bus and actually caught hands from a kid over that.

In Virginia until July 1, 2025, cases can only be expunged or sealed after a case has been dismissed, dropped, or found not guilty. Until then, the law is not in effect.

This can only mean one thing - Chris is OUT.
This is only IF the case has been dismissed, or Chris is deemed not guilty and requests it. Besides that, the article you linked very clearly defines what is meant by "expungement" and "sealed" in the new law.
In Virginia, expungement means a record has been placed in a secure location where only a few people can access it for very specific reasons, such as a court clerk having access so that she can collect payments on any fines or fees still owed on the case. Under the new law, sealing means the record will be transferred to a confidential and secure area inaccessible from normal use. Once a record is sealed or expunged, it can be accessed only by obtaining a court order and only for a few specific reasons set forth in the law. Most importantly, regardless of whether a record is sealed or expunged, most employers and landlords will no longer have access to it.
So literally, just because his records may be "expunged", that doesn't guarantee they're lost forever. Just that only select people can access them for specific purposes.

Chris isn't being dismissed for the case, and he hasn't been magically cleared of everything.

The heat death of the universe will come before that. You try reading literally the entire CWCki.
Actually, it's easy enough to understand how dumb Chris is.

He simply just doesn't learn from his mistakes and his autism makes it such that the only matters he's ever concerned about are both those regarding his interests and the immediate outcome.

The factor that's changed over time is his motivations. Golden age Chris was simply an idiot. Current Chris is a delusional nutjob who thinks he's a deity heralding the Cartoon Apocalypse and has 'healing powers'. And this is more a combination of his own desires with his growing desperation to escape his shitty life in the laziest way possible, which is frankly literally waiting for reality itself to shit itself and crown him a goddess. It's really kind of sad that he'd rather pretend to be a bunch of make believe bullshit as he prefers that to his actual life in which he's done absolutely nothing of worth, and he'd rather continue not doing anything if it requires exertion on his own part with no instant gratification.

It seemed like some of the more knowledgeable folk around here did not expect they would simply throw him iut in the street without arranging for his future living, and Chris himself seemed to be under the impression that he wouldn't be going back to somewhere Barb is. So that likely rules out 14BC. Thus if they don't punish him with prison time my only assumptions left are some kind of assisted living. Especially if they end up determining that he's severely impaired by autism.

The problem with Chris is he's going to chafe super hard at assisted living the MOMENT he's forced to do something he doesn't want to do, while at the same time Chris pretty much passed an event horizon by screwing his own mother and then deciding she has to die for his own selfish benefit. Behind bars is likely where he's going to end up, may it be after this trial or the inevitable next one when he runs afoul of the law again.

The Chaniverse aka Dimension F2482, a horrific dimension ruled by a delusional autistic despot whose insane edicts are enforced by a bunch of cartoon hedgehogs with Pikachu ears.

Chris will never have to work a day in his life, as other autists on welfare will ensure that he never runs out of money for sex toys, video games, or prostitutes.

To be serious, Chris will probably never face any real consequences because idiots will send him money no matter what he does. Yeah you're totally trolling him by fueling his wasteful lifestyle.

Chris doesn't seem to experience consequences the same way normal people do. Losing thousands of dollars to trolls posing as e-girlfriends or exploiting his fantasies? He'll just go right back into doing that shit because it's validation of his beliefs.

Things actively threatening what he likes in a way only he interprets as threats? He goes balistic. Sonic's blue arms, the advent of Hasbro resetting MLP, even as far back as the Simonla incident, his greatest treasure is his fantasy built on stolen ideas and by the same token, it comes under threat in ways normal people never would give a single fuck about.

Same way with his spergout about wanting Barb dead or at least out of the house so he could live there. It's become literally enshrined in his fantasy as his 'Sonichu Temple' so the idea he can't go back there (or, y'know, make a 'new' temple) is beyond inconceivable to him. Even being forced to stop his stupid exorcism at Western State crossed a line, because it was a 'violation of his higher authority' in his mind, I'd bet.

The greatest irony is that Chris himself is the one who brings about these consequences to which he never, ever has a way to deal with.

Ultimately I don't think Chris really cares so long as he gets out. Maybe he'll damn the whole legal system to cartoon hell or that they'll be erased once the Merge comes, in a demonstration of his godly wrath, but he'll just shit himself and do nothing as usual.

That definition specifies that this is only true "under this new law"; this law doesn't go into effect until 2025.

i think he was mostly just a lazy autist before puberty and societal permissiveness made him a grotesque, unlovable sex pest. his homework assignments, all prior to the love quest that made him an even bigger idiot, show that he was either incapable of writing at his own grade level, or was too lazy to give anything but a token effort. you can't really beat the tard out of a tard, so "discipline" isn't exactly the word, but he should have received more specialized attention in school and out of school.

and, as the user somewhere above said, he was pretty rude and spoiled as a kid, same as he is as an adult. though i don't think he's a shover anymore, even many adult tards know you shouldn't do that. my impression is that he had the kind of blithe disrespect for other people's personal space, thoughts, and feelings that is commonly found in autistic children. you can teach a child with autism to consider other people, and a lot of them manage fine. fatty doesn't because his enablers let him act like an asshole when he was young enough to form his lifelong habits
