I don't think Shiina is prepared mentally to deal with some of the Pippa punches similar to how Koa kinda freaked out and basically took everything without fighting back during the collab when Pippa kept bullying her.

Shiina has been mentioned before in this server and her past identity has also been mentioned. She probably knows that when you start out its important to try to be as broad as you can with who do you appeal to so she might be scared that she might alienate some of the fans, atleast for now.

Apparently not. Back when Vshojo announced the auditions, I remember thinking it was just an excuse to hire their friend Snuffy and maybe a couple of other orbiters. She collabed with them all the time back then; it seemed like she was an unofficial member. But I guess she's comfortable being an indie.

Have a feeling that the JP branch is their first actual attempt in making a genuine talent company, instead of the EN just being an obvious clique. That's also probably why they didn't chose anyone for EN so far, they don't want new people potentially learning their skeletons in the closet

I agree with the whole JP actually being a branch. Hell Nasuna is their first original talent (as in a talent that started from scratch with a new model), everyone else has just joined after being pre-established. That said I don't think they will get randos to join VShojo gen 2. Like in Gen 1 they will just pick popular people out and have them join officially.

Would like to see Uruka get some more exposure too it's just hard to find genuinely good clips for her that aren't too long to make a good submission. She has so many derp moments that would make great content but I haven't noticed many dedicated clippers for her.

I don't know how Vshojo is going to solve the "audtions have been open for a year but none of you made it lol" problem, and it does seem like it would cause a morale issue.

They can just say that they are keeping them open as a way to have a solid portfolio of people to pull from in the future without having to commit to actually having a new wave come in.

She has also acknowledge us and 4Chan before and stated she's fine with having viewers from said sites but ask to contain power levels when in her discord or where else you interact with her at. Which as I stated previously on the matter I do respect her wishes in those matters.

giving my two cents here:

I always see Vshojo as those twitch streamer group (OfflineTV or OTK) kind of thing where they live and stream together, and most of the time the people that are able to join those streamer group have to be well established or nepotism hire.

Kudos for Hololive for being able to find hidden gems all around, there must be some kind of secret sauce or psychological screening in their interview when auditioning new talents.

Yagoo keeps tabs on every human on earth, if you are talented, he's just waiting for you to apply.

I don't think I've ever seen them demand money though or even ask for it directly. I'm sure they'd get bonked or worse for something like that, at least the corpos.

Superchat reading streams are a very long affair, Vesper was warned that it would take him 8 fucking hours to read all of them out individually and 4 to just read the names and say thank you due to how big his hot sauce stream was. I assume they don't want to tire the talent's voices, especially so early on into their career.

Plus I've seen some people, especially ones who get unexpected blowout successes like Tempus, feel guilty getting so much money so suddenly and it creates a feedback loop where they get money, feel bad about it, stress out and struggle to deserve it, then get more money so people can say "Don't feel so bad, we enjoy giving you money! You deserve it!" and it is just an exhausting cycle if you're not a greedy person and revel in the dosh. Some people are in a weird place mentally where they don't feel that they deserve their own success, especially when they were once a total nobody. I think I also would struggle with this if I was in this position.

We can sort of see this with Altare and Axel who are overwhelmed by getting so much support for their singing which Axel feels he isn't good enough, Magni I think has this because this man seems to barely sleep because he is working on whatever projects he is doing for his audience and he keeps killing his voice, and Vesper was a fucking wagie who loved plastic as his cope and now suddenly gets 10k from nowhere.

That would be my guess on why that warning is given.
