Peebs is an agitating person so I could believe very easily that he would care more for the drama than the truth.

Interesting that they said "near" instead of "far" in this case. I'm not surprised that something is different, though. There are other differences between this remake and the original, where some lines don't quite make sense in the context provided. Might just be a shoddy translation.
This is a good case for ditching the original completely. Just make up entirely new words that would be commonly used as passwords in an English context.

Linus Torvalds just released version 5.19 of the Linux kernel, specifically from a Mac running Asahi.

On a personal note, the most interesting part here is that I did the
release (and am writing this) on an arm64 laptop. It's something I've
been waiting for for a _loong_ time, and it's finally reality, thanks
to the Asahi team. We've had arm64 hardware around running Linux for a
long time, but none of it has really been usable as a development
platform until now.

It's the third time I'm using Apple hardware for Linux development - I
did it many years ago for powerpc development on a ppc970 machine.
And then a decade+ ago when the Macbook Air was the only real
thin-and-lite around. And now as an arm64 platform.

Hector must have wanked his dick down to a nub.

Hahaha! Linus is an iToddler!
I suppose that's why he's allowing Rust in the Kernal.
Rust was an inevitability given that he was cucked/forced by his own daughter into temporarily stepping down, mellowing out his "Mauro, SHUT THE FUCK UP" personality, and instituting a Code of """Conduct""" into the kernel. (:_(

He's been completely cucked, and now thinks that he can somehow buy his way back into the favor of people who hate him and want to kill him.

What a fucking idiot.

Any sons of Nippon out there? How are finances after death resolved in Japan. He had a sizeable estate, can we trace the money? Are there public records as there are in the UK? We have the prefecture don't we?

How do we chase the money?
It's very unlikely he had an estate. Even if he did die it's likely his landlord seized most of his property and sold it off to pay off his rent/lease.

Fun fact in Japan it's very hard for foreigners to find apartments to rent because landlords over there don't trust them. Since they often rent apartments and then leave the country before ever paying. Most of the time foreigners find apartments in Japan is it's usually provided by a company they're working for.

What about the 6-figure bank balance he had that he tried to blackmail @Best Doggo with? Couches and computers and shit, sure, I can see a landlord seizing those to try and get a return on investment, but hundreds of thousands of (US) dollars seems like the sort of money that demands a paper trail or the government(s) start getting pissed off.

Typically when a family member gets deceased the bank sends their remaining funds to an executor of their estate and they send it off to next of kin. But there 100% would need to be a death certificate if that was the case and there isn't one of those. His death has become completely unreported in official channels.

This is also the case in Japan there's even a website about it here. You noticeably need things like a death certificate from the hospital (or in this case a coroner).
