The only advantage they ever had was that Wings played online games, so they didn't ever actually have to do anything clever. They exploited the fact Wings cuts his teeth with multiplayer games. That's it, 100%.

In fact I'd argue they aren't even trolls really, because imo trolling is something you have the option of not responding to.
If you follow someone around to multiplayer shooters and stand in front of them so they can't play, or get people to team kill them, or shout "nigger" at them in voice chat to get them banned, even though pretty much all their legitimate audience came there to watch them play multiplayer shooters, that's not trolling, that's just harassing someone. On top of it Wings is southern white trash on fucking Twitch, among the most liberal-elitist platforms out there.

That won't work on Phil. He's more uptight about what he says and they can't directly interfere in his games, and he's not on Twitch anymore.
I'm not sure if they realize that if they kill their cow they aren't going to find another one because very few people are in as vulnerable a position as Wings is in terms of online presence, but they're too fucking stupid to think up any other way of getting a rise out of him other than essentially using twitter mob cancel tactics, so it's inevitable.

There's a good reason Null decided to single these people out and screw with them and their discord a while back. Even as absurd as DSP detractors can be, wings trolls are, on average, below even them.

Also, there's no way she watches his streams regularly, if they barely spend time together in the same house (Is it confirmed or speculation on seperate beds?) then why on earth would she cut into her Skyrim and gorge time to tune in to ACKACKACK and other noises she insists he closes the door over?

This is ancient history but I played him once in super turbo at a mutual friend's house. I guarantee he doesn't remember who I am (so I'm not "revealing my powerlevel"). He beat me quickly with Zangief 360s, though it was basically a squash match as I hadn't played that game in years. I was obsessed with Capcom vs SNK 2 at the time (a superior game, the GOAT imo).

He beat me, I walked away, and someone took my place at his little ST station he set up. I don't remember any snorts, rocking, shit talking, gin breath, body odor, suspicious coffee travel mugs, or any other eccentric behavior. That's the closest thing to an "interesting story" I've got. I also don't remember any drama at the tournament I went to that he directed. That's why I think he used to be semi-normal and semi-functional.

I think he must have started drinking heavily alone on the internet at some point and that's when things started really taking a dive. I didn't hear RTU fatguy say anything about alcoholism, which is weird. It's a big part of the equation here.

I get what you’re saying being that you’re using the story Phil actually told but I have no doubt he grossly exaggerated his place in T’s life, not to mention his culpability in his death. Narcissists for some reason are able to reconcile the concepts of being the biggest part of someone’s life while simultaneously having nothing to do with any time that person makes a bad choice or undergoes misfortune. Absolutely bizarre.

(Also no mention of PandaLee leaving him? You know, an event he tried to keep hidden for months?? After she publicly humiliated him by posting a ring she bought herself on instagram so her coworkers would stop asking her when Phil was going to propose???????? This man is an alien.)
