Speaking of Airi's frustration with monetization, last night's Dark Souls stream was amazing. We had:
-Opened by yelling "Fuck Susan" for a while, going into a mini karaoke and a frustrated rant about monitization
-Made it through Blighttown in a respectable amount of time
-Killed Quelag in a handful of attempts
-Immediately killed the Fair Lady
-Broke her claymore on the way back out of Blighttown completely trashing her damage
-After barely making it back to Andre, she accidentally attacked him
-30 minutes of pure panic farming up souls to buy forgiveness and get Andre back
-Wandering into the start of Sen's Fortress to experience the fun house.
All in all a great stream. Give it a watch if you have time to watch VODS.
Yeah I could definitely see people like iPN, sleepy or Surefour doing well - they've all been very funny in collabs and had a good rapport with the other members. Plus they have a lot of connections, which has already provided Niji EN with some cool opportunities for collabs/tourneys/etc. Not sure if any of them would actually be interested but I'd be happy to see them get in.

Cards against humanity is one of those games where you have cards in hands with edgy things on them, and then a card is played that has blanks such as "George bought ____" and each player plays a card(s) to fill the blanks with what they think is funny, and whoever is the "dealer" for the round decides which scenario is funniest. There are a ton of games like this out there, but Cards Against Humanity had the gimmick of all the cards being edgy or offesnive. It was fun for a little bit when it came out, but it gets old quick.

My best guess is that they actually do want to be taken seriously, and remembered as more than that guy who made the funny thing. So they go full politisperg, and use their fame to push whatever "human rights" issue is important that week, hoping that it actually results in something changing, so they can say "Hey, I did that, praise me". They also attack other people, and bully them into doing the same thing. I remember when Jon "Keep the baboons out of my gene pool" Jafari went back to just making videos after his eugenics yab, and people were relentlessly saying shit like "You should use your platform for good, instead of just making funny videos, I thought you were better than this" at him on twitter and in the comments.
