Well it is the misguided belief that they will be the top of the food chain in such a system. You see it a lot in online commies. They all think they will be the next Stalin giving kill orders and running the ruling party. This bitch from BLM has the same delusional outlook. When the new leaders would be the ones who would beat/stab/shoot anyone in their way. A lot of them are delusional about it. Like how once they get rid of all the laws etc, they will rule with peace and understanding. Not knowing that Jay'qwan will just chimp out and hurt people till he gets what he wants. Then there is the subsect of them who are wanting their chance for revenge. Anti-white laws and such. These people are just vile mirrors of the people they claim to hate. That line about the tyrants tormenting people in the name of for their own good was talking about these sort of social assholes.

I learned that lesson from my mom. She was a middle class union democrat her whole life and absolutely hated guns. She didn't think anyone needed one for any reason and would vote accordingly. No one was allowed to bring a gun in her house, and I constantly got speeches about how dangerous it was that I owned and carried one.

4 or 5 years ago, her neighbor's house got broken into while they were home. They were tied up and all their valuables were stolen. Mom signed up for a carry license and a safety course that day, then called me asking about what kind of gun she should buy. No apologies, no acknowledgement of her bullshit. It was just like a switch flipped and she acted like she'd been pro 2A her whole life.

Progressives try to tell you that lived experience is irrelevant to your political opinions, but as soon as they have a negative lived experience, they flip sides on the issue and pretend that's the way it always was. Every fucking time.

From what I've seen in the news, attempts at using unarmed social workers end in failure. Despite that, they still insist. It's good to know reality isn't on their side.

Exactly! They assume they'll easily wrest top-down power from the hated establishment and everything will fall into place. If it doesn't, then it's not their problem because at least they've got theirs. And the last parts of your reply scares me the most. Knowing there are rabid minority activists who could care less about rights, morals, and so on. They just want to collectively punish white people for existing. There is no higher goal. It's nothing but catharsis. And as we have seen in circumstances like that, nothing gets better when the cartharsis passes.

Generally, yes. I've had the misfortune of knowing a few people who have been victims of crime, yet they have internalized this idea that they would be in the wrong for wanting justice. For the most part though, it's like you said and I agree.

Liberal criminal justice reform energy doesn't come from a desire to be more compassionate and understanding but simply to have a new designated hate object. The same people who say ACAB and demolish prisons are sneering and vengeful hall monitors who love to pass judgment on others.

The left has become a tribe of angry losers. They have made a long list of impossible demands, seethed over their predictable failures, and never asked themselves hard questions about their goals, priorities, messaging, or strategy. Their response is just to get mad again and look for some socially acceptable target to take out their impotent rage upon.
