That reminds me, the scumbags at Google still have this measure for some locations like (I think) EU, Australia, and some others.
If the video is age restricted, the account can be prompted with this window in order for the owner to verify their age with the methods you see in the image (taken from some rando on the Internet).
I think it's to """protect the children""", but it's actually not for that, just wait until this becomes a normal practice for other countries as well, and that sending them fake IDs is a viable way to pass, otherwise YouTube might become unusable for those that don't want to bother with this nonsense.
Did I mention that we plan on adhering more strictly to these laws? I mean think about it, if it's not for kids, it means that it should be age restricted, therefore more videos will need to be classified as such, and of course if you want to watch it, I'll need your documentation, I promise that I'll delete it afterwards.
