that's precisely what I mean about not letting them delude themselves, that "unspoken unwritten default agreement" is a delusion. "feeling used and looked down upon" is delusion, it's all bullshit that's onesidedly decided. To be fair to the unicorns, the gist of their complaint is that collabing with filthy penis-havers is what constitutes a betrayal of an unwritten, default agreement between the chuba and them. They feel spat on when someone they invested (keyword!) their feelings and money in breaks the delusion, in a way similar to how someone cheated on feels. It's less about thinking they ever had a chance and more about the sense of feeling used and looked down upon as trash.
What makes it baffling to me is why Watson of all people has them in the first place.
flavor of the month games are always going to happen and this isn't the cause of it. It exists on all streaming platforms even for individual streamers that don't have to jump through permission hoops. Now that is pure idiocy. No wonder all the girls are stuck jumping on the stupid game of the month thing they have going. Sounds horrible for a streamer.
Popular games are just (shocker) popular.
